- Hello! Here's a little optical microscopy video about identifying false diamonds using polarizing anti-glare sunglasses. Under the microscope, a cubic zirconia stone lights up when the polarizers are crossed. The technique relies on birefringence, which is discussed in the video. Enjoy!
