Hi, quick couple questions are those standard 1/10 foams 12mm hex? An where or how did you get the parts for the mod 1 conversion? I’ve been looking for a different replacement spur but can’t find anything at all. What’s that rear wing from looks very nice. Anyways thanks for any info
Hey buddy The foams are contact 1/10 drag foams they're slightly larger which is needed to fit over the hubs and steering links The mod1 is easy and uses the original spool you just need to cut the spur gear off and use the ends I can sort you one out if your interested just email me The rear wing I made myself from kydex

Well since then I ended up getting a rocket 7500kv I think I’ll have to check motor from Amazon it’s on order. Would be awesome if we could chat over a build of the 104001 I’ve lowered the car 10mm front and 8.5-9mm at rear and added 80wt shock oil. So I’m gonna order a radio next and maybe some spare diffs but a carbon kit woulbd be another option. However hopefully you still have my email and we can chat over a build that would be awesome I want to try and make a rossa date next year if possible. Just want to fit mod1 rather than the stock gearing
Seriously mate, that car cost more than a Tamiya TT02 for using it on asphalt and too weak for dirt track. Tamiya TT02 got hundreds of very nice bodies and even more mods than for a 144001 ! I will buy a TT02 the day I will get bored of 144001.
@bretzel etouffeur For the same price as the 104001 you get a chassis a body and a brushed motor,what you dont get is a controller and receiver,bearings all round,servo,charger,and batteries so for the same kit including a lipo which is supplied with the 104001 is between £230 and £250 plus so not even in the same ball park 😉 I think you need to research 😉 first
