Most of these companies underate the rpm limits of their motors, this 4370kv motor didn’t even get anywhere near hot on the 4s runs and I’ve run the 5200kv that was in it but now in the Rlaarlo buggy many times on 4s with no issues. Most speed runners I have watched go beyond the voltage rating of the motors they use, it’s pretty common practice.
Cheers man, it did alright for a first time running this setup, think I’ll dial down the ST dual rate and try take the wobble out of the front links before I take it out again, it’s definitely got more in it if I can stay on full throttle heaps longer 💯👌
117km that's fast for small scale, not much room for error but would make for a spectacular wipe out , Quick question to run a transmitter with gyro on my DBX10 ,Do l need to change the handcontroller? and good video glad at least Perth gets some sun, here in Melb it's been pissin down for weeks.👍
You could buy a cheap gyro and fit it in between the servo wiring to the receiver, then you will have gyro on the Dumbo tx they come with 👍 cheers for watching Peter
very good, which pinion and motor setup I was using, I bought a surpass 3650 5200kv to use in 3s, but I haven't decided which pinion to use yet from 27t to 33t I bought, I'm going to use nun 104072, which I fried the original 4500kv motor

I have 11.1v 3s lipo battery 2,500mah 30c can I use 11.1v lipo battery 5000mah 35c or 50c is that ok tnx.
I think a 5000mah 3s might be a bit too large for the battery bay in this buggy as well as fit under the shell
