So i got a part time and full time position. I still havent put either job on my resume. I hate the full time job and need to stay at least a month to get into housing. Im hoping that the 10 week training period will make it easier because i like the virtual training (cuz the material is interesting but the job is totally not). How much time should i be at my part time job before I can put that on my resume? I took a break during COVID and I think a lot of people are in the same boat, right?

Hi! Yes, a lot of candidates have taken breaks due to COVID and have also been getting let go due to the uncertainty in the market right now. With that being said, I think you should put it on your resume after a month or so-I would even add that it’s part time, that way they’ll assume that you’re looking for a full time opportunity, and it won’t matter as much that you’ve been there for a short period.

Thank you! I would have after 2 months, so I am glad it is one. I love my new part time position and cant wait to get out of the current full time one I also JUST got. Im not a culture fit and more reasons. I got worried when all three of my interviews never confirmed after the news last week. But i have 3 new ones already. Wish me luck. I noticed my response rate is the same weather or not I write a cover letter or not. I can apply to WAY more without one, so what is the deal on the cover letter these days? I think write good cover letters also so I am unsure why the response rate is the same (1/9)
