- Ernie Ball and Metallica announced the winners of the Hetfield + Hammett Experience contest. The three grand prize winners won a trip to meet James and Kirk at Metallica HQ, the band’s inner sanctum where they record, write, and houses memorabilia from their 30+ years of touring worldwide.

What do you expect them to do? They're a professional touring band. But they still look like they're having a ton of fun onstage, and they often throw in impromptu jams.

Book them or get VIP Tickets, it'll cost you around $2000 for VIP tickets but it's an experience, Booking them to come to your place is like $750,000 for a few hours

Well now you have. Kirk told you about it. Go out and buy it so you can hear the classic bands th at influenced Metallica. If it wasn't for bands like Sweet, Merciful Fate, Samhain, Sweet Savage,Motorhead and many other NWOBHM bands inspiring them we wouldn't have Metallica and many of the other Metal bands such as the Big 4 to headbang to.
It's cool to hear the originals of some of the covers Metallica does then listen to thier interpretation of it. So young fans should go out and fins these albums. They'd love it and appreciate these bands for giving us the birth if the mighty Metallica.

What pissed me off is I was in the Metallica club from 1995-1997 and one of the early members. Only person that ever bothered coming over it backstage was Jason. Rarely did the others come out
Glad someone noticed that , during Black album and through Load album tour periods Jason would be the main one to greet fans and sign, and almost never from James ,you know Jason's a nice dude but he was so green it's like having a fan of Ted Nugent sign your shirt instead of Ted ,,,

I also notice he points out UFO "Strangers In The Night", Thin Lizzy "Live And Dangerous" and Judas Priest "Unleashed In The East". Bad ass live albums-all of them. I would love to take a gander at the rest of those records on the wall and see what other classic albums Metallica holds in high esteem.
