Such a great sport. James Hetfield in this interview should be an inspiration to any musician or aspiring musician on how to act with fans. @@order66dotexe - agreed, especially when they were a bunk or 2 over from your bunk
This interview is golden. James, you've come a LONG way brother!!!
It is impossible to not like James.
He may be a larger than life man in a larger than life band, but he's still incredibly down to earth and relatable.
More kids this age need to listen to metal.
Metal with lyrics you can actually understand.
President Trump I listen to a little metalcore like As I Lay Dying, for some reason they are the only I like. Im more of a classic metal guy myself, like Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and of course Metallica. The guitar riffs and solos are so in your face...I love it.
I’ve been doing my best to indoctrinate my kids who are 10 and 11. My daughter isn’t having it, but I’ve got high hopes for my son. 😁
James is a legend, how can you not respect him.
It's so wholesome to see a guy like James being a bit nervous and shy.
I broke down when he said bring Cliff back....
"Oh he hears me , i know he hears me"
Very Beautiful !
This is less an interview and more a conversation. It's great to watch. Very lucky to have got to interview him 🤘
i love that he was willing to do this with a kid! awesome
I love this so much!! I was at this show, waiting patiently for 'Tallica to hit the stage. The best interview!! That kid is super adorable and James Hetfield, my god, the coolest guy ever. Fix Cliff Burton, I love that. So sweet. Brought a tear to my eye...
Full disclosure: I watch a lot of TH-cam performances, interviews with people in all musical genres. This interview is better than 95% of the stuff available to view. I felt part of the conversation, James and the young man interviewing him are awesome. Will visit this channel again!
This is by far the best Hetfield interview I've ever seen, was so funny to watch! Thanks for doing this
Such a great sport. James Hetfield in this interview should be an inspiration to any musician or aspiring musician on how to act with fans. He makes the kid feel so comfortable and doesn't let it drag with awkward silences like so many interviews by adult amateurs do. Thank you, James. You do a great job, unintentionally or not, of showing people that Rock and Roll, Metal, celebrity, and mistakes in life don't mean you have to be an asshole. You freaking ROCK!
Straight pimp
James says “my son is a really good drummer” Lars- extreme sweating noises
James is one of my favorite rock stars when it comes to doing interviews. He's comfortable with doing interviews like these and he doesn't seem annoyed by silly questions kids ask. He's also able to talk to them in a way they can understand :)
5:45 - shit, a litte kid gets James to open up more than most other interviewers
Tom Tom cause they're innocent. not out to screw over for themselves...
Tom Tom Yeah I think it's because this interviewer actually wants to know the answers, for himself, not just for the internet.
I get a feeling of goodness from James. I feel as though he's a lot deeper than he shows.
Man, can you imagine James Hetfield being your grandpa? 9:40
I kinda want him to be my grandpa
That would be fucking awesome.
_cries_
I Wish.
He'd Be Called Grandpa Het.
"If you could fix one thing in the world, what would it be?" The snare in St. Anger
A*Jack aggressively horrible
Cats being raped sounds better. If a proper snare had been used, St. Anger could of been a nice album to listen to.
lmfao!!
so original lmao
The bass in And Justice For All?
What a humble man. You can tell he really enjoys this interview.
Man this interview is SO HEAVY and I love how he’s talking to him but also us at the same time
Amazing how James is always looking to find out more about people he comes across, rather than elevating himself even with this little guy. Love his humility and genuine approach to life and people.
I like how this little dude brings out the innocence in adults. Same questions by an adult in an adult environment would yield different responses.
I really think James is a genuinely good hearted person. Very well articulated too. Great interview!
Great job on this interview! James is such a good soul. I met him briefly years ago and he was very approachable and cool. His sobriety seems to have changed his life in many positive ways.
I love how James talks to him like he's an adult and doesn't talk down to him, seems like a really good guy and you can tell he's been through many life experiences good and bad
Lol the one time where James isn't mad at the interviewer
