    in your opinion what is the difference between the microcosm and chroma?

    • @JackSole17
      @JackSole17  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey thanks for the comment!! They feel very different to me!
      I use the Microcosm for ambient textures and pads,
      And I use the Chroma Console for multi effects and building patches!
      I didn’t go over it as much in this video, but I do have two video on the chroma console if you want to check them out!

    Hey man, I have a board a lot like yours.. Jr Max, LVX, microcosm, cioks dc7, etc.. Lots of good stuff.
    I'd love to get a patch bay worked out like yours that I can plug into and out of my (stereo) board. You say you're using a Temple Audio input output thing? Was it tough to install?
    If you have a more in depth vid on this, let me know what to watch!

      Sweet! That’s awesome we have similar taste aha
      And yeah it’s actually super easy! I was so surprised! I go over it in the video I linked at 5:35!

      @@JackSole17 Thanks man!! Looks great. I had a hard time finding any info on fitting something like this to the pedaltrain boards.. Did you just hot glue it in? Does it stay in place pretty good??

    • @JackSole17
      @JackSole17  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I had the hardest time as well finding anything on this!
      And I tried to hot glue it on top, but that didn’t work (it took up to much space) so I just put a bead of hot glue on the inside connection to the board after it was in place! But after using it a bit it doesn’t even feel like it’s needed! My buddy just did this to his board recently and loves it!

      @@JackSole17 oh wow.. So you glued the cable that was connecting your first pedal to the 4x thing? Hmm.. Hard to imagine but I'd really like a way to plug in and out of my board. I think I'll just get one and see what I can come up with. Thanks for the info!

    • @JackSole17
      @JackSole17  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No they are just plugged in normally to the back! It works perfectly with no hot glue on anything, I just used a bit to hold the chassis in place! And it works awesome to use for stereo! Just buy it and it will fit in snug no problem!

    and use this devices in mono!!! why? move blooper to start of chain and use all in stereo)

    • @JackSole17
      @JackSole17  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Very true I love stereo as well!
      The reason why is I only have a two channel interface at the moment (which I would like to upgrade soon) one for guitar and one for voice!
      When I’m not recording I’ll usually add a cable from the LVX to the Mercury X and then just go out of the Mercury X to my second amp! I really like this because then I leave the Gen loss on most of the time and one amp stays clean without it and it’s an awesome sound!
      I will definitely talk more about my love for stereo when I upgrade my interface!

    what power supply are u using for ur board?⚡

    • @JackSole17
      @JackSole17  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      CIOKS DC-7! It my favorite power supply yet! I’ve had the Zuma and onespot CS-12 and the CIOKS is definitely the best!

    Its no coincidence that the Gen Loss Mk 2sounds better with a verb in front. I didnt like it going straight in really, its due to how they implemented analog dry through and the time that effect takes to process.

    • @JackSole17
      @JackSole17  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah totally, they did release an update a long time ago that helped this problem and I really liked it, it didn’t help a lot!
      That said the genloss style effects on the chroma console sound more smooth without reverb IMO because of the digital processing!

    All these midi capable pedals and no midi controller 😢

      I used a midi controller on my last board (Check it out on my channel) and it’s lots of fun, but I didn’t really end up using it a whole lot and don’t miss it at all so far, but I definitely will go back eventually aha

      @@JackSole17 you could use it at least for MIDI Clock to sync all tempos for all time based effects
