- Matt Harding from Cardinal Yacht Sales was at the 2020 Seattle Boat Show showing off a huge lineup of Targa yachts from Finland at Union Lake,Seattle. These boats are very nice and are designed to be in the roughest of waters. The Targa 46 is powered by the new Volvo Penta Ips and now offers even more options and maneuverability while on the water.

Yes, they call these boats here in Finland the 4X4 of the sea.
Its the most wanted boat here in any size.
Keeps its value very good.

Brian's enthusiasm and manners clearly blows Matt away. Maybe it's just me, but if you have a guy coming on board to record who has like 60,000 subscribers and his name is known throughout the boating world, you'd think he'd go "the extra mile" to sell his product...
Great video on your part Alfred, very helpful for my grandfather (who raised me as a son) who's looking for a boat to take me, my wife, and his great grandson, (my son) on a great loop trip or trips like he did in the hatteras, and look for the perfect combination of size, performance, and fishability.
He wants my 3 yo son to remember his first trip just in case something unexpected occurs. Granddad already has taught him to magnet fish to hone his casting skills.

Targas are the most legendary boats in the Nordics. "True Land Cruisers of the sea".
They have also become sort of a status symbol, though...
These are half the price of Nautor's Swan or Hallberg Rassey, which are way more common, for the same size.

This is probably the best Targa video on TH-cam right now.
Like the way the put the engines under the deck, to "keep the weight down low." That's pretty smart thinking!😀 Also you don't have to run it at 30knots, you can go slower. A lot of their clients like that they can see out the "windows." I'm also surprised they like to move around on the boat, like to eat a sandwich. I think I'd stay in my seat and wait for the captain to turn off the seatbelt warning.

Now here is a super river boat. I see the ability to make one heck of a fishing boat on the river and then turn it around to have the ability to fish on the big water in a safe manner. Why have a camper cabin when you can live on this boat. I would make a great salesperson for this boat! LOL LOL

These are made by Botnia Targa in Finland, prices are online. Check out the Nord Star 49 , similiar boat but with a better layout for the main cabin. Thanks Alfred, great video!

Beautiful boats. Any info on construction techniques? i.e vacuum-bonded, carbon fibre etc?
Targa uses vacuum bagging/vacuum infusion techniques for the 46 hull and many of its parts, hand laid fiberglass work where the infusion process is not practical. An extremely strong hull structure. Little or no use of carbon fiber although we could specify this if desired as all builds are fairly custom.
I would not want a fly bridge but I want to stations of command center to control the boat

You can choose to sleep in the front or the back and it has little berths too so if you have kids or little um . . . They can sleep in there. 😙😙😙😙😙😙

Just like some car salesman. First thing know the product you are pitching to a future buyer.
Each boat is custom made and all boats have differences. The salesman knew well enough this boat. After all it was already made for customers desires.

Great effort with the video, but I can’t help but think that Alfred needs to do some homework on the boats before doing a video shoot. Also, he’s wearing shorts and complaining about the cold weather…. know your audience bro….
Lastly, the boats are hundreds of thousands of dollars, if not million plus dollar boats, work on your pronunciations because you sound a bit too street (dopey).
