Dave I really enjoyed your very comprehensive look at the Botnia Targa 25. As an ex Botnia Targa 30 owner, I can vouch for their build quality, versatility and ease of handling singlehanded. David Adams and Wessex Marine are great too of course. I would never have one without the flybridge which gives a major extra element of visibility and wind in your hair. And I don't fancy the fuel costs and limited range of the outboards, to say nothing of the fuel barges and docks that only stock diesel. The boats never go out of fashion, so there is no need to buy one especially new, better an older model under £100k. I sold my one to a Dane, who promptly drove it all the way back to Denmark single handed from Poole, which just shows how amazing these boats are ! Thank you again, a really excellent video.
I like this. A good all round review including what it can do at sea and all options explained. Not just opening cupboards and showing how the furniture can fly across the saloon in portland race.
Brilliant boat. The fact they hold their price so well on the used market says a lot. Great tour, all the information required to make an informed decision.
I was impressed with the boat's fore deck, walk arounds, power options, heads compartment, and performance features, then the pilot house was packed with great features....and then a cabin with two berths and more stowage? Sign me up, what a versatile boat!
A diesel 25 is on the next berth to us in La Rochelle. The owner mostly uses it as a day boat but sometimes overnight fishing trips are done. BTW, annual berthing rate is circa € 2000 inc water & electricity.
Great boat review. I will try to tell you this. The Albemarle 25 which is formerly known as the Carolina classic 25 is the best built, heavy duty, best riding 25 foot boat that money can buy, bar none.
why the blank at the end of the video.?!.is there a reason why you dont open the doors and hatches yourself in the walkthrough dave.on the plus side it was interesting to hear your stories.;).good an expensive boat for what it is..

@@PhilbyFavourites Outside toilet is great. Beats spills, smell and moisture inside. Toilet almost AT the head of your dining table, bothers me more (55 footers do have their advantages....) But for typical dayboat use; fishing, swimming, diving or boozing it up in the cockpit; keeping wet and grimy crew from trampling through the interior to use the facilities, it's fantastic.

Can I ask (on behalf of everyone) why you sold it and intriguingly what did you replace it with?
Hi Phil, I moved inland and was too far from the sea, so I bought a 30' Dutch steel cruiser which has been great too.

This guy knows a LOT about boats. Enjoying his reviews. Now I just need a reasonable win on the lottery.

Cheers Dave. Lots of history, seaworthy and practical boating. Great walkthrough video tour thanks 😊
Perfect review. Unbelievable background knowledge!
A Dave Marsh review!🥰😍This is the stuff of which dreams are made!
Insightful overview of a versatile little boat.
Nice review of a nice boat… what happened to the contrast and the editing at the end? 🤦♂️
Sorry about the blank section, that was a rendering error, we've trimmed it out now.
This would be an awesome fishing boat
About two months ago there was a Botnia Targa 25 on Apollo for £45,000

Sorry mate, its not in the same league.
Great review. Do they make them new to order if I wanted one ?
Lobe these reviews !!! But one question, did you film this with a potato ?
that is a nice boat!! Looks like a safe boat too!
These boats might be very nice with new diesel outboard. I wonder if Botnia are starting to look at that.
Funny you should mention that: www.mby.com/reviews/wheelhouse-walkaround/botnia-targa-25-1-gt-outboard-powered-boat
@@MotorBoatYachting dont see any mention of diesel OBs, just petrol
I was thinking the same, though a single 300 Cox would be suitable for those not in a big hurry and you could get fuel at most any marina.
@@MotorBoatYachting I said diesel outboard mate, like the Cox 300 etc.

Love this boat.
brilliant review.
good info, helpful.
Going back in time to a outside toilet.
It's a dayboat. Be grateful you don't have to sit on a bulwark. ;-)

where is the bait tank ?
Bring back Nick!
Did he just say mooring where he lives is fricking upwards of $13000 USD.
Uncovered!? For a 25’ boat!?!?
Lekker man lekker
Popeye would be proud
I watch these hoping Nick is hosting it. If he isn’t I just move on. Sorry 😔
