There are coaches, that advice to jump until vertical (sprint time) starts to decrease noticeably or even slightly. Other than that you might see advice to keep jump session around 30-40 min or even less with a purpose not to overstimulate CNS too much and constantly keep fresh. (Which sound logical). What is your take on that?
I could be wrong but most your attempts, too me it looks like your jumping to close to the rim, you need to be 3-5 inches back from where you were taking off IMO🤷♂
Since you brought up the guy here having more pain when he goes off of two, do you think two foot jumping is more taxing on an athlete? I used to only one foot jump, but now I focus more on two. Maybe it is just me, but it feels like two foot jumps are leaving me cooked in a way that one foot jumps never did.
For me it’s the opposite: I can only do 1 foot if I’m able to get pain free enough for it but am able to do 2-ft every time. I but I can do 2 foot jumps off of either leg, so maybe that helps
Looks like both of you dudes are getting it back. Aren't high rims a bitch? The place I go to for pickup games with my boys is like 10'2". Drives me nuts.
Thanks for sharing John, great info for other jumpers. Austin needs to do something man his vert is not where it was
Let’s go finally another dunk sesh
You were looking good at the end! Can’t wait to have a session with yall I’m sure you’ll be in the 40s around then👀 haha

Yeah John the jumps looked great in this vid, especially for it being one of your first sessions back

When do you apply Heavy Slow Resistance Training in the Microcycle? The day after the jump session?

@@robb5469 it isn't a pain thing for me. it's fatigue. the two foot sessions are pretty draining.
I agree you were jumping well, your rhythm was just off with the lobs.
Did Mikey ever end up agreeing to to a dunk session since he transferred to ucf

We are both kinda starting one foot together(today I had my first ever one foot session)
Yeah you’re way more talented 👀
@@JohnEvans even for one foot? I feel like my proportions are pretty bad for it ngl
