- In this video, I am closing in a wall in my shop to make a heated storage area. This will give me a place to put things that I have been keeping in my heated office area for the last 15 months this is basic construction with framing, insulation, window and door installation, and painting. If you have any questions about this, leave them in the comment section, and I will be glad to answer them for you. Thanks for watching, like, subscribe, and share with friends.

As a guy with limited skills, I always learn a lot from your videos. You do excellent work. Thanks for your videos.
Well, I appreciate your vote of confidence. I like sharing the things that I know with others. It’s a blessing to me to know that someone has learned something from one of the skill sets that I share in my different videos. I think mechanically. I guess that’s why building things or working on things is easy for me. Sometimes I get a little long-winded when Showing things to others but I just wanna make sure that they get it. Thanks for watching. I always appreciate the comments.
Nicely done, looks great!
Thank you., It will sure make it easier for organizing some storage area.
Gee Joe I was going to ask you to come help me paint the trim in my kitchen! 😂 Great video!
I know how to paint. It’s just so darn tedious. I only do it when I absolutely have to. Lol.
Man confesses to hate painting: paints entire project perfectly. The metal cladding looks good too.
There are parts of construction that I really don’t like at all. Number one is insulating which I did in the wall . Number two is painting. But what I hate more than actually doing those jobs is paying somebody else to do something I know how to do lol, I am a frugal person and I have a tendency to buy a lot of good used things instead of new because it saves me a lot of money. And it is new to me. Be blessed brother.
@@safarijoesadventures Blessings to you and your fam too. Free is always better than paying.
@@loudmouthnewyorker2803 yep, the best thing I ever received in my life was free to me. But it cost someone their life.
I made the mistake of letting my wife see your video, she’s drooling over the quilting machine
Lol, I can imagine. I was watching you and her organizing the space in that storage area in your room. You and I have something in common, wives with a bunch of projects. But I guess it’s OK I have enough of my projects to do too.
great shop! You can find some great deals if you keep an eye out. Fighting the storage wars is a serious task. I usually fail!
Well, I’m typically not a pack rat I like to keep things neat and tidy. But after buying that cabin in November 2022, we have been purchasing things that we will need there when it is finished things like furniture, beds, woodstove, all the normal things you would find in a cabin. Even tools that will stay there instead of go back-and-forth to Colorado with me. now I have the room to empty my office and some of the stuff in the shop so it should work out just fine. I have sold things that I don’t need and given away things to friends that I don’t need so it keeps getting better all the time. But you are right about storage wars lol I have been failing at it myself, but hopefully this will change things. Good talking with you.
@safarijoesadventures I'm in exactly the same boat. I've been craigslisting like crazy trying to get everything I need for my Alaska adventure, but eventually you run out of space!
@@remoteandrestless you will have to let me know how that Alaska adventure works out for you. My wife and I are planning on taking a road trip up there through Canada either next year or the year after. I have a nephew that lives in Wasilla. Sidenote, my dad and my uncle both worked on the Alaska pipeline when they built it back in the 70s when I was in high school.
@@safarijoesadventures for sure. It's definitely worth a visit
