DIY wheel repair

This is my trying to bring back the looks of the winter wheels for my VW Golf TSI. They have been severely damaged from salt during the last winters. I had enough and wanted to make them look pretty again.
Washed with Acid and degreaser
Sanded with various grits of paper and finished off with 1000 and 2000 Abralon to get that smooth surface.
3 layers or Acrylic clear coat.
I used a Makita orbital sander and wiped off with IPA before painting.
