The stores you hear coming out of Brazil: Cops killing Citizens, military taking over jobs that the police should be doing, assassinations, cover ups, civil rights of under class denied, torcher and summary execution by the military of it citizens. And drug gangs that have infiltrated the favelas. On the other side of the "coin": Brazil is a beautiful country with nice beaches, good restaurants, culture, and places to tour. The politicians in brazil need to understand that they can't run their country on a coin flip and think that the best of their country will always be face up. The odds of that are little to none unless they do what is right for their people and government. What side of the coin do they want to show the world.

There is lots of racism, but in this case, it wasn't the race that played a role on this assassination, it was the fact that she was advocating against the police's killing int he favelas...

LAductions ...she was fighting against police brutality of black people in the Favelas, at least that's what it says it in the video

she was, is just that they were trying to shift the focus (in Brazil) and make it a race case, away from the fact that she was fighting against the military intervention that Rio is currently under. I personally do not think race or gender played a part in it, it was a statement by the criminals that she was denouncing, she was denouncing certain battalions and the military police responsible for numerous deaths in the city.

you take the tram in progress and do not know the truth or the half, the girl there had a very big link with the organized crime in Rio de Janeiro with the great leaders of the Latin American drug trade, and died by the bandits themselves she had a dislike !!!

Mauro Eder Democracy now wouldn't like that. According to them it's only democracy if they get their way.
