i agree about finnish bands, but i don't think that amorphis is the best, maybe in the top 20 in the world and top 10 finnish for sure. I can say at least 5 finnish metal bands better than them imo: Ensiferum, Kalmah, Wintersun, Children of Bodom, Moonsorrow

I'm not going to go all cliche here and say Amorphis are underrated, but what I will say is that there are WAY too many metal fans out there that have never heard of this magnificent band. And this recording is EPIC. Thank you!
I don't know about that with their various lineup changes as well as their musical direction changing a couple of times too. it's like a completely different band and genre compared to the first 2 albums.
@@corrado different than first two albums, yes. This is pretty common for long standing bands. Plus they haven’t really had many significant lineup changes. There are not many bands that I know of who continuously put out really good albums. Priest, Testament, Exodus and Maiden? Even they have had some flubs. But, at the end of the day it is personal preference.

Amorphis is my favorite metal band I follow them since 1993 when I listened to Karelian Isthmus and after that when they released the TFTTL album 1994. They are just great and this setlist in particular is one of the best I have ever seen. Thank you Amorphis and Thank you Rock Hard Festival.
Love this band. Going to Finland next year and hoping to see them in their home country. Also bass lines are amazing. He walks the neck a lot and not a normal thing in metal. This band is just so different and refreshing. Sound incredible live

GE Amphitheater ist ein super Ort für Festivals und das war ein großartiges Performance, live Amorphis ist sogar besser als im Studio. Die Mitglieder sind nicht nur Profi Musiker, sonder bei Autogrammstunde waren sehr nett und geduldig. Ich bin total erfreut und freue mich schon auf nächstes Amorphis Konzert 🥰

I've just seem them live on their last concert from this tour and I'm really mindblown with how good all of it was. Perfection in all aspects. Now I want more!!! This recording is gold!
Definitely the first concert of them where I hear keyboards clearly. And I have been at quite some 😅 So I'd say they had the best sound guy in the last years here - keyboards are so essential for their sound. Even though I enjoyed all live minutes without keys as well 😂 Great band, there are not many comparable.
I have been listening to you since 2004. My first album was "The Karelian Isthmus" and to this day I regret that I missed your performance in Kyiv in 2007. Unfortunately, it was not possible to attend your performance then. Thank you for your creativity! You are real some masterpiece.

Black Winter Day!!! First "non Metallica, etc" metal release I ever bought!!! Very shortly after I picked up Thousand Lakes after being hooked, and I distinctly remember the hype when I learned of the upcoming Elegy album!!!
Tomi Fckn Joutsen! Both clean/growls are almost perfect,plus stage perfomance,headbanging etc. I respect also Koskinen as a singer too. These guys are proffesionals on stage and they respect their fans.
This is a great show - only gripe is - Amongst Stars is one of my favorite songs by them, but kinda pointless to have it on the set list without Anneke there to sing her part live.
There you have it... one of the best clean singers in metal merged with one of the best growl singers in metal...
