As a Gen Xer, I'm loving the evolution of metal and how symphonic metal came to be. This band is truly amazing and that pirate metal is growing from symphonic metal is truly great to see transpire. Rock can never die with bands like this roaming the seven seas of music.
I have heard some tracks with Skynd that sounded decent(do not like their lyrical themes of murder/massacres though, VoA has like A LOT better lyrics) but I agree VoA should get way more attention. They have evolved into something incredible.
VoA is one of those bands that sounds even better live 🤩 Watching their show live on the front row is an incredible experience that I can't wait to do again ❤️
i love VoA cause they keep the same energy, doesn't matter if they're playing Bloodstock or a 150-people club in Buenos Aires! truly masters of their craft 💟 (I also love Mike and Clem calling ppl out for not raising their phone lmaoooo)

This was banging! And the ridiculous part is that the band is nearly 25 years old. After watching this concert, there's really just one question rattling around in my brain: Why the hell did I not know about them? Make it two questions: Why the hell don't everybody else know about them too?
Also didn't know about them until this year. Started listening and a week later they were playing near me. That was back in February, the wife headed down to see them and have been fans since. Also saw them in September with delain. Don't understand how more people don't know about them.
They started 25 years ago when the Symphonic Gothic metal was on his prime but unfortunately the female singer died because of a cancer and the band nearly dissapeared from the scene . Suffered many line changes until a few years ago resurrecred with a new line
This is fantastic. They did everything-production, sound, preformance, just amazing. Love their songs but didnt know that they are this good live. Clementine is pure love. Respect
Got to the signing tent to meet VoA at Bloodstock. Super pleasant band, and Michele happily informed us there would be rowing involved during the show - which we emphatically participated in during Pirates Will Return (which oddly hasn't been included in this "full set"!) Stunning set and a great band to watch prior to SKYND.

Whoa this is an amazing show and the music is sweet n heavy... one of the absolute must entertaining concert as the characters of pirates is very cool they do it well I've been around since 1967 from Canada and have had Vision of Atlantis, lol! Thank you for being incredible always a fan... forever!!

The production of this concert was really good. I love how clear the voices are. There are some parts the instrumentals overpower them. I hope for future live performance we get more vocal clarity amidst the instruments. Melancholy Angel is so good but majority of the time esp in chorus I noticed the vocals are suffocated under all the instruments.
