You should have been in John Smith rock festival in Finland two or was it three years ago. Amorphis was the main event for that evening. The festival itself was held in a small town with a beautiful lake right behind the stage and and midnight sun was setting behind them. The feeling was just unreal.
I was here right near the front and got to meet them shortly after. Amazing and super friendly guys and so badass live 🤟🏻 can’t wait to see them supporting Nightwish in December

@@SuperRoo_22 their discography is quite short, so you'll manage to listen it all. But if you are more into classic melodic death metal, I would recommend to start with their first album (self-titled Wintersun) and if you're more into epic orchestration stuff, start with Time I album! You won't regret. I would appreciate If you shared your opinion after listening. Cheers!
I saw these guys with DARK TRANQUILLITY and OMNIUM GATHERUM this same year in Hollywood at the whisky a go go. So phenomenal! Such an Amazing performance.
Man, there is no reason why this band should not be bigger in the world of rock. They're just so good! Death metal can sometimes be a bit too samey and rehashed nowadays, so to have a great and totally original take on it is awesome. Not many can blend the death metal harshness and heaviness with stunning beauty quite like they can.
