Unfortunately the video and sound are progressively out of sync, I tried to fix it, but nothing worked. In any case, I think this video is of interest to every fan.

Those guys are cult classic in Finland , Russia and Scandinavian region . All albums are good . One of the best bands ever . Seen them live long time ago
You need to re-evaluate who you get your ratings from. These guys are fantastic~
@ranti2760 no they're widely recognized in their home and region, but cult in other regions. The nether regions of metal. Bc Norway, Sweden n Finland are the Nest of all great metal for past 30 years!
Amorphis rules!
I love the current sound of Amorphis very much. I first listen Amorphis in the 1990s and it was not my style at the time. Maybe I was also to young and not ready for it. Also the band changed a lot... Cheers dudes
Kudos Amorphis... What a surreal moment in World's history to record this great performance. Still soul soothing for those who listened to it in solitary confinement!
Man, why did I ignore that band during my youth!? They sound like I'm in deep space at warp speed.
I've seen their name/logo since i was a kid, even liked several covers that other bands did of them, and i too still ignored them.. I just don't understand.. And in 2015 when Under A Red Cloud came out, i just randomly checked out the title track while doing dishes or whatever, and i just stood still for the whole song. Mind blown. Now, it is most def one of my (many) fave bands

Why don't anyone copy Amorphis? Like they make some of the most unique heavy metal in the world, they've done it for decades now successfully, every album they release is a banger, yet NOBODY even tries to emulate their style. I feel like Amorphis is a glitch in the matrix, like everyone knows about it, everyone agrees about it yet nobody is capable of replicating it.
Edit: House of Sleep is almost 20 years old. Think about that. Since then, nobody has even tried to replicate it Like how? What? How do you make such a timeless song and just stroll by unnoticed?
My questions asked precisely. Well we have unique metal music in Finland. And In Flames is copied everywhere! Why?
I would love to pay homage to Amorphis in the states.. let me know when someone finds a vocalist as amazing as Tomi Joutsen!
How can you replicate something that is so rooted in the culture and growing from a folklore? Any attempt to replicate this using a purely musical approach is doomed to fail .
It seems to me that it is simply impossible to adequately copy them. To do something like this, you need to have a wide range of tastes, equally like completely different styles of music (metal, pop, prog, folk, black, doom, death) and have an extraordinary imagination to combine all this. And if there are such people, it seems to me that they are more interested in doing something special of their own, rather than copying someone else.
For example, we can recall the Children of Bodom, who admitted that they found their inspiration in the music of Amorphis. But they didn't copy the style.
