Ohmygosh!!! I just turned 63 in July. I am going to see them in Stuttgart in December. I still can't believe that I am going. (Also going to Porsche and Mercedes museums! That's why I chose Stuttgart!!!) I am a Led head from way back, but Nightwish is on another level!!!

I got to see it in concert in May. It was the single greatest moment I have ever seen in a concert in my whole life and I've been to a LOT of concerts. It was so special and I am dying to see them live again. Never missing a show if I can go.
It's the most religious song Ive ever heard(although I am pretty sure Thuoms didnt mean it to be such) But when Floor sings Laudato si, it makes you as if directly connected with God Himself.
Floor is metal machine: sing for 1,5 hours for two lead vocals. Crazy thing! Beautiful, empowered Qween of Metal !! End of "Shoemaker" is breathtaking! Her face there so magical and pure.

Incredible. 55 Year old and ive been into rock/metal for most of those years. I have seen soooo many bands, DC, Maiden, Metallica, Slayer, To name probably 2%. Been to countless gigs, Concerts and Festivals. Gotta say this has to be one of the best ive heared. The Songs are incredible, such talent . Ive only heared a small amount of this bands music but i have to say, it has totally blown me away. Incredible. Oh...that voice .
I totally agree with you. I grew up with Pink Floyd etc.but now I almost only listen to Nightwish live with Floor. Wacken 2013 and Wembley 2015 and Hellfest and many more. I can't describe how happy they make me.
56 here and have only recently stumbled upon this incredible band. The musicianship is amazing and the song-writing beautiful. The musicians are at the top of their game - just superb. And then there is Floor - who is just out of this world. There are only a few who reach that top 5% and she is well and truly there.
Jesus where i was hte las t 10-12 years to just discover that wonderful group. I just discover a few weeks ago and i already watch this video 10 or 12 time, it's so amazing. And what about Floor , she's a goddess. Simply amazing. Watch a few Beste Zingers with her and she can go everywhere with her voice incredible. I'M DEFINITLY A NEW NIGHTWISH & FLOOR JANSEN BIG FAN! Can't wait the next release from them.
This is by far the best hellfest show I've seen. Many bands play their songs live. Nightwish put on a fucking show. Everything is part of their performance.

Finishing it off with a 17 second belt. (I timed it) Floor blew it out of the park again. You need to release Floor at a very big podium, in front of a very, very big crowd. Then she is at her best and maximum potential, as shown here in this recording. Full on voice, full on power. Love her inspiring and pumping speeches in between the songs. This was a great live concert, getting feelings of Wacken 2013. I still miss Marko, but Floor is keeping the band on his feet and rolling. An extreme accomplishment.
Gotta also give credit to Tuomas, who writes most (all?) of their songs. Plus mad props to Emppu, who along with Tumomas has been there since the beginning.

Por otro lado, pienso que lo mejor que le sucedió a la banda fue la llegada de Floor. Su carisma, profesionalismo y gigantesco talento la han llevado a donde está hoy. Nadie es indispensable, y Floor está haciendo un trabajo enorme echándose la banda a la espalda vocalmente y a nivel escénico... no quiero ser el "típico fan" pero en algún momento se nota la ausencia de Marko. Aún así son magníficos y ojalá esta vez sí pueda verlos en vivo.

Pero recuerda que la banda era importante antes de Marko, también se dijo que era el fin de la misma después de la salida de Tarja..."qué Tarja era Nightwish", y a pesar de todo la banda pudo continuar. Fíjate que han colocado coros sampleados para proyectar aún más la voz de Floor, y estoy seguro que en el algún momento llenarán ese vacío. No pretendo convencerte, pero sí te pido que no dejes de creer. La banda siempre estuvo para nosotros, y nosotros debemos corresponderles.

Wacken 2013 was the best live concert ever, Wembley 2015 was epic, Hellfest 2022 was epic. Every concert they give 100 %. Great melodies, emotions everything they give us. Best singer with the best stage presence you can long for.
I'm very pleasantly surprised at how few phones I see in the audience. When you have a performance that people are actually watching and reacting to instead of rushing to record it, I think you've done your job.
The 'newness' is clearly wearing off. Only took best part of 20 years for people to finally realise what a waste of time and resources recording at gigs is.
When I saw them in NYC, I didn't have my phone out except to take a pic of their setup before the concert, a video of Storytime and her vocals at the end of the show because WOW. I also took a picture of the band onstage. I just wanted to capture a few memories because I never saw Nightwish in concert before then.

I watched this performance live at home and as always with Nightwish it touched me and filled me with enormous joy. I have now watched this performance several times haha. How nice that there is such a thing as a livestream and that it is now on TH-cam. When I listen to music, I also like to listen to all the different instruments: to the bass and guitar riffs, drums, synths, orchestra, choir etc . I love to listen to all those melodies and how it blends together. Nightwish is so good at this! All those songs are so well composed and consist of all kinds of layers. No random pieces stick together or random and soulless guitar solos (which many bands have). The guitar solos Emmpu does are well composed, sound beautiful and recognizable. Every instrument supports each other in such a way that there is a beautiful atmosphere in those songs. Whether it's a harder banger or a beautiful ballad. It really is an experience and together with Floor's versatile and beautiful vocals, this music knows how to touch and inspire so many people. What I really like about this performance is that you can hear the bass and synts so well. Jukka is a super good and nice bass player! Here and there I also heard new bass tunes which i liked. He has a nice groove. A very good asset as far as I'm concerned! The beautiful melodies of Tuomas were also very good audibale, as it should be! The Human :||: Nature album is simply AMAZING! It was a pure joy to "dissect" that whole album and the songs sound so good live! Kai's drumming during tribal is very nice and I really like Troy's backing vocals during How's the Heart as he sings: -" How's the heaaaaart?" -" How's the ooooone?" - "Let us souuuuund" I've always liked Troy's soft Folk voice and he seems to be getting more and more comfortable. In addition, his voice is getting better and better! As for Human :II: Nature, I hope we'll hear Music, Pan and Procession live as well. Nightwish is very good at storytelling and Floor is the perfect storyteller for this. It is not only her versatile singing, and also at a high level, but also her charisma and stage presence. I enjoy people who dare to let themselves go to the music because it can look so beautiful and Floor has always been good at that. On this tour she is even looser and her movements (also with her hands)and being one with the music is a joy to watch. It inspires me to dare to let myself go more hihi. Am I missing Marko? Yes ofcourse! He also has a beautiful voice and it was always a pleasure to listen to him and Floor and the harmonies they did with Troy. Yet Nightwish is still rock solid and they are doing great! Planet Hell with only Floor for example works well. Sounds difficult haha. Who knows in the future Jukka will at least be able to grunt / growl along with for example Tribal and TGSOE and sing along with the harmonies? I understand he can sing too. I do need to get used to those new back track vocals hehe. Oh and that audience! What an energy!! Thank you Nightwish for your music and thank you Arte and Hellfest for this livestream!
I agree so much with you. Human nature is an album that deserves to be played live. Also, I'm imagining things or they changed a little bit "I want my tears back"? I felt that close to the chores there was a change in rhythm.

I got to see it in concert in May. It was the single greatest moment I have ever seen in a concert in my whole life and I've been to a LOT of concerts. It was so special and I am dying to see them live again. Never missing a show if I can go.

It's the most religious song Ive ever heard(although I am pretty sure Thuoms didnt mean it to be such) But when Floor sings Laudato si, it makes you as if directly connected with God Himself.

Floor is absolutely slaying it here! She has enough energy for the whole place!! She has always had an untouchable stage presence, I think she has risen it 100 fold!! The band is sounding as right as ever. Nightwish is an absolute force of nature.

Incredible. 55 Year old and ive been into rock/metal for most of those years. I have seen soooo many bands, DC, Maiden, Metallica, Slayer, To name probably 2%. Been to countless gigs, Concerts and Festivals. Gotta say this has to be one of the best ive heared. The Songs are incredible, such talent . Ive only heared a small amount of this bands music but i have to say, it has totally blown me away. Incredible. Oh...that voice .
I totally agree with you. I grew up with Pink Floyd etc.but now I almost only listen to Nightwish live with Floor. Wacken 2013 and Wembley 2015 and Hellfest and many more.

56 here and have only recently stumbled upon this incredible band. The musicianship is amazing and the song-writing beautiful. The musicians are at the top of their game - just superb. And then there is Floor - who is just out of this world. There are only a few who reach that top 5% and she is well and truly there.

Finishing it off with a 17 second belt. (I timed it) Floor blew it out of the park again. You need to release Floor at a very big podium, in front of a very, very big crowd. Then she is at her best and maximum potential, as shown here in this recording. Full on voice, full on power. Love her inspiring and pumping speeches in between the songs. This was a great live concert, getting feelings of Wacken 2013. I still miss Marko, but Floor is keeping the band on his feet and rolling. An extreme accomplishment.

Es increíble como una banda ha sabido sobreponerse ante las adversidades a lo largo del tiempo. Un ejemplo más de que nadie es indispensable en este mundo, que siempre se puede evolucionar dentro del arte, guste más o menos, pero he aquí el ejemplo perfecto de como el compromiso y amor propio puede contra todo.
Por otro lado, pienso que lo mejor que le sucedió a la banda fue la llegada de Floor. Su carisma, profesionalismo y gigantesco talento la han llevado a donde está hoy. Y aprovecho para contradecirme: nadie es indispensable, menos Floor, Floor es como el aire que necesitamos para respirar; ella es vida.

Nadie es indispensable, y Floor está haciendo un trabajo enorme echándose la banda a la espalda vocalmente y a nivel escénico... no quiero ser el "típico fan" pero en algún momento se nota la ausencia de Marko. Aún así son magníficos y ojalá esta vez sí pueda verlos en vivo.

Fíjate que han colocado coros sampleados para proyectar aún más la voz de Floor, y estoy seguro que en el algún momento llenarán ese vacío. No pretendo convencerte, pero sí te pido que no dejes de creer. La banda siempre estuvo para nosotros, y nosotros debemos corresponderles.

Wacken 2013 was the best live concert ever, Wembley 2015 was epic, Hellfest 2022 was epic. Every concert they give 100 %. Great melodies, emotions everything they give us. Best singer with the best stage presence you can long for.

I'm very pleasantly surprised at how few phones I see in the audience. When you have a performance that people are actually watching and reacting to instead of rushing to record it, I think you've done your job.
I think knowing that record will be on TH-cam anyway make it easier to just enjoy it
The 'newness' is clearly wearing off. Only took best part of 20 years for people to finally realise what a waste of time and resources recording at gigs is.
When I saw them in NYC, I didn't have my phone out except to take a pic of their setup before the concert, a video of Storytime and her vocals at the end of the show because WOW. I also took a picture of the band onstage. I just wanted to capture a few memories because I never saw Nightwish in concert before then.
Going from Noise to Planet Hell is a power move. That transition gave me chills!

I watched this performance live at home and as always with Nightwish it touched me and filled me with enormous joy. I have now watched this performance several times haha. How nice that there is such a thing as a livestream and that it is now on TH-cam.
When I listen to music, I also like to listen to all the different instruments: to the bass and guitar riffs, drums, synths, orchestra, choir etc . I love to listen to all those melodies and how it blends together. Nightwish is so good at this! All those songs are so well composed and consist of all kinds of layers. No random pieces stick together or random and soulless guitar solos (which many bands have). The guitar solos Emmpu does are well composed, sound beautiful and recognizable. Every instrument supports each other in such a way that there is a beautiful atmosphere in those songs. Whether it's a harder banger or a beautiful ballad. It really is an experience and together with Floor's versatile and beautiful vocals, this music knows how to touch and inspire so many people.
What I really like about this performance is that you can hear the bass and synts so well. Jukka is a super good and nice bass player! Here and there I also heard new bass tunes which i liked. He has a nice groove. A very good asset as far as I'm concerned! The beautiful melodies of Tuomas were also very good audibale, as it should be!
The Human :||: Nature album is simply AMAZING! It was a pure joy to "dissect" that whole album and the songs sound so good live! Kai's drumming during tribal is very nice and I really like Troy's backing vocals during How's the Heart as he sings:

I've always liked Troy's soft Folk voice and he seems to be getting more and more comfortable. In addition, his voice is getting better and better! As for Human :II: Nature, I hope we'll hear Music, Pan and Procession live as well.
Nightwish is very good at storytelling and Floor is the perfect storyteller for this. It is not only her versatile singing, and also at a high level, but also her charisma and stage presence. I enjoy people who dare to let themselves go to the music because it can look so beautiful and Floor has always been good at that. On this tour she is even looser and her movements (also with her hands)and being one with the music is a joy to watch. It inspires me to dare to let myself go more hihi.
Am I missing Marko? Yes ofcourse! He also has a beautiful voice and it was always a pleasure to listen to him and Floor and the harmonies they did with Troy. Yet Nightwish is still rock solid and they are doing great! Planet Hell with only Floor for example works well. Sounds difficult haha. Who knows in the future Jukka will at least be able to grunt / growl along with for example Tribal and TGSOE and sing along with the harmonies? I understand he can sing too.
I do need to get used to those new back track vocals hehe.
