Since Hong Kong was a British Colony, a popular type of Hong Kong breakfast is as the lady showed in the menu, eggs, sausages, bread etc. Ofc there are the congee and Chinese doughnuts. You get the best of both worlds!
Thanks for visiting my city - subscribed after seeing your other China videos. Enjoy the time in HK, Food is great, transport is easy. Naturally lots of British influence, so you will see alot of reminders of UK/home.
Thanks for sharing about Hongkong. Eventhough I lived in Shenzhen for 10 years and went to Hongkong just for travel, but Hongkong is still a very special place for me, charming history and culture. I wish more peolple can come to visit Hongkong!
I would recommend going to Hong Kong island, Victoria peak, big wave bay, big Buddha, deep water bay, repulse bay, dragons back, Stanley fort, shek o, sai kung country park, discovery bay & so much more
Thanks for coming by Hong Kong! I really enjoyed watching your videos. Just wanted to add that bacon and eggs are actually very much part of a traditional Hong Kong breakfast, because we’ve adopted a lot of Western foods into our diet. At home we sometimes have Western style breakfast like eggs, ham, sausages, cheese, bread, oatmeal etc., and at other times we have the more traditional Chinese kind like congee and Chinese style eggs and pickles and other traditional side dishes. There are actually restaurants that serve this kind of traditional Chinese breakfast (I would recommend going to older districts like Happy Valley or Wan Chai). The place that you showed in your video is more of a 1950s kind of Hong Kong diner (born from that era), serving Western-inspired Hong Kong style food, but the food served there is more like fast-food than a traditional meal. I personally don’t know anyone who has egg tarts for breakfast (so I would say it is not really a breakfast food), but milk tea definitely is a staple here! 😁 I feel that Kowloon has a different culture from Hong Kong Island, and when most people think of Hong Kong, they associate it with the Kowloon culture. In any case, I hope you enjoyed your experience here! Thank you for visiting our city!
Welcome to HK, Jack and Anynsley. You found the place which is a pier for travelling to Macau by Jet boat. Also, It is not a river. There is a waterfront named, Hong Kong Victoria Harbour

I absolutely love videos about Hong Kong, I'd love to visit and explore. I'd also like to go into the mainland but I was reading that as a full British passport holder I'd need a visa so will have to look into that, would sort of just want to cross over to explore for a few days while in Hong Kong. Enjoy your travels 👍🏻😃.
If you hold a passport from Western countries, Japan, and South Korea, you can choose to arrive first at major cities in mainland China such as Beijing and Shanghai for entry, and thereby enjoy 144 hours / 6 days of transit visa-free. This 144 hours starts to be calculated from 0:00 on the second day after your arrival, provided that you need to hold an air ticket to leave mainland China. So you only need an air ticket from mainland China to Hong Kong (Hong Kong is visa-free for OECD countries), and then you can visit mainland China and Hong Kong. But it should be noted: 1. When entering mainland China, the immigration authorities will not only require you to show the air ticket to the third place, but may also require you to provide a hotel reservation order during your stay; 2. The air ticket to leave mainland China must be to the third place, rather than the city you came from; 3. The 144-hour / 6-day transit visa-free is only applicable to the city where you land and leave, and cannot go to other areas in mainland China.
you should go to upper deck of Star ferry, more comfortable and better view! If you can stay for a few more days, explore the country sides, you can do hiking and less dense.

You went to the wrong boat, you need to go to the Star Ferry besides that there are 2 classes. You choose the lower deck. The service at the restaurant is normal, a few waiters have to serve many tables.
Canny video, I love Hong Kong but haven't been back after China kicked off and there were protests all over the place. I will get back there eventually. I love Hong Kong and I'd been living in Hong Kong since I was born, but I relocated myself to the UK a few years ago. Real estate price is insane there, you may go to the street side real estate agency to check out the price, other than this, everything else is great.

Canny video, I love Hong Kong but haven't been back after China kicked off and there were protests all over the place. I will get back there eventually. I wonder if you try the sprite with the plum thing in it in your next vid. That is mega and difficult to get here.
I saw a comment from you on Twitter that you might be going to Tokyo to watch the Toon, if you are it'll be good to bump into you both. Enjoy the rest of your stay in Hong Kong.

My god, what a mess with your breakfast 😂 Jack, you are being nice: pineapple bun tastes pineapple🤣 Anyway, you are both nice people. 😄 By the way, it seems really noisy in the streets.
