1:43 "When you're a French director / Un César, do you really care? / You can't admit it / But you could fit it / Right on that shelf, over there"
The prediction has become true!!
Love Ron, Love Russel, Love Leos!!
Beautiful as always!
God bless You, dear “Sparks”, lovely supergifted Brothers!
This is gorgeous! I love hearing Mr Carax sing!
Невероятно! кажется уже невозможно удивить, но нет, трек за треком удивлению нет предела!
Exactly what I experience 82% of the time when I watch a French art-film.
Not a César, but five, for Annette -- visual effects, editing, sound, original score, director. Oui, la vie est belle! A bronze log weighing 3.6 kg of their own both for Ron & Russell, and Leos. Félicitations à tous, and share nicely, brothers!
omg i love this song :D. All songs of the album are amazing, but this is definitely one of my favs ^^ :D
Nice atmosphere in this song !
And a little wink to Leos Carax ;-)
Wink? Haha 😁, definitely, and humor he has, that French - American! It's him playing the accordion and "singing" the parts that obviously isn't Russell. 💖
Recorded (probably also written) while all preparation were going on for 'ANNETTE', which became another example of well working collaboration 🎼🎵🎬🎹🎤🎞️🎹🎺🎥🎶🎸📽️🎻🎤!!! 💖💖💖💖💖
Я в восторге от нового альбома Спарксов!
Good stuff. Really like this album
Nice...
superb but too short, and i am French girl
i am with you on that - too short
On Kimono My House there is another waltz, 'I think I will fall in love with myself again'.
Are there any more waltzes by Sparks I have missed?
Waltz isn't really usual in rock/pop, but when the Mael brothers are involved... 😉😄
Love their music, was a fan in mid seventies, but, shame on me, forgot about them until I saw they were coming to Stockholm some year ago. I was a bit surprised, didn't know they still were active as a band. A while later I came across them here on TH-cam. I fell in love again! I also realized Hippopotamus just had been released. Have had a lot of catching up since... Loving every moment 😁 😁😁!
The Beatles: Baby's in Black, Norwegian Wood, I Me Mine
John Lennon: Happy Xmas (War Is Over)
Wings: Mull of Kintyre
Leonard Cohen: So Long Marriane, Winter Lady, Lady Midnight, One of Us Cannot Be Wrong, Bird on the Wire
Bob Dylan: The Times They Are a-Changin'

Neil Young: Only Love Can Break Your Heart
Suzanne Vega: The Queen and the Soldier, Heneymoon Suite
Elliott Smith: Waltz #1, Waltz #2, Waltz #3

michavandam, Wow! Thanks, I think I needed an eye or more like an ear opener😁😁
But I remembered another Sparks waltz, There's no Such Things as Aliens. 😊
How about the breaks in Likeable? Give it a listen and see what you think.
@@johnnylikessparks48, You are absolutely right. How could I miss that!? Thanks 😃
No problem. May I have the next dance?
Ils ont tout compris des français !
oh shit
Too much of a good thing?
"Never", she said!
The song for the drunks! )
Leos Carax est Dieu.
Tu me fumes😂
When you are a French director, la vie est belle you can live on public money write poor scripts and spit on the yellow vests
This director had a manuscript written, dialog, music, most everything. That was done by Sparks. Monsieur Carax directed. Adam Driver and Marion Cottilard in lead😃. I guess it will premier after Covid-19 left.
"Isn't it grand? Yes, yes, so grand!"
