    LYRICS
All the things you said to me and all the times you prayed for me
And all the holy places we would go
I don’t need to fool around and I don’t need to drool around
I’m with you ‘til God says it’s time to go
While others may have so much more to say
Each street we walk on’s Les Champs-Elysee
    All that we’ve done
    We’ve lost, we’ve won
All that, all that and more
    All that we’ve seen
    We’ve heard, we’ve dreamed
All that, all that and more
All the smiles and all the frowns and all the ups and all the downs
And all the fears that you would soon be gone
You ignore my gaping flaws and I see you and I’m in awe
And look outside it’s very nearly dawn
I can’t believe my luck in meeting you Hey, help me out I can’t find my left shoe
    All that we’ve done
    We’ve lost, we’ve won
All that, all that and more
    All that we’ve seen
    We’ve heard, we’ve dreamed
All that, all that and more
All that, all that and more
All that, all that and more
    All that we’ve done
    We’ve lost, we’ve won
All that, all that and more
    All that we’ve seen
    We’ve heard, we’ve dreamed
All that, all that and more
Summers are what I recall, the sun gave credence to it all
We’d waste a lot of time, this, that postponed
Someday we’d do useful things, we’d rise above, be kings and queens
But knew cheap chairs would always be our thrones
    All that we’ve done
    We’ve lost, we’ve won
All that, all that and more
    All that we’ve seen
    We’ve heard, we’ve dreamed
    All that,
    Thanks for the loan

I have been going through the worst time of my life - unending debt, eviction and being taken to court by my landlord, struggling with addiction and an eating disorder, becoming morbidly obese from that and losing who I used to be. Whenever I play this, it puts me in at least a bit of a brighter place. Thank you, Sparks x

Astounding talent that improves like vintage wine. These brothers are such a paradox:
Influential to countless musicians, but too quirky for mass appeal.
50 years, 25 albums, over 300 songs, (all hook laden, brilliant snippets with constantly shifting styles); but only moderate worldwide acceptance. Most admirable of all? They're dogged determination to remain totally true to they're own peculiar musical visions, consequences be damned. Nothing like SPARKS. Never has been, never will be. 💥

Humble and grateful "born-again" Sparks fan here. Going down a rabbit hole of Noel Fielding at the start of the pandemic in 2020 led me to the Edgar Wright-directed video for "Blue Song" by Mint Royale...which led me back to Sparks. So it was down the rabbit hole of Sparks in 2021 and what a trip it's been. It was an absolute privilege to see them in concert 2022-04-02 - Russell's voice was steady and strong in every song, Ron as well could do no wrong. Their energy, creativity, skill, and passion (and just the right amount of swing for Muff Winwood, I think!) made for a sight and sound to behold, all summed up in the love-letter spirit of this song to close the show. Thank you Ron and Russell.

Makes me think of many people I've lost the last years, especially one.
All that we done, all that we planned for... And didn't have the chance to 😢😞
To lose someone special, in any ways or perspectives HURTS.
When people pass in high age is often a thing you can partly handle, hurts like hell, but we can live with it. Especially if that person was sick and in pains.
But when younger people (OR eldery in good shape, still strong and highly active) pass away, that is worse. They had so much left to do, to have, to give. It's not fair. And not as easy to accept for us, left here with broken hearts and souls.

De är stora fan av Ingmar Bergman så de svarade. Låt tips ..The seduction of Ingmar Bergman live. Det är som en slags opera. Blev jätteglad att de tog sig tid att skicka ett svar till mej. Jag har hört både den svenska och engelska versionen av 'The Seduction of Ingmar Bergman'. Helt fantastiskt!

Today (June, 11th) my grandmother would have her 90th birthday. That's why I think of her very much today. And now I listened to this song again and I realize, that it could also be a song about her and me. Or about her and our family. It's very interesting to realize, that this song could be interpreted in at least 4 different ways. That's very special I think.

I discovered Sparks in the '70s and I lost sight of the band in the '90s,
and then one day I listened to music in a store and asked if it wasn’t
Sparks and they said, "No, it’s FFS." And looking closer I saw that it
was Sparks with Franz Ferdinand. Russell’s voice is particular and the music of the Mael brothers are characteristic and unforgettable. Bravo continue these beautiful music and see you soon at the casino of Paris

This is beautiful. As an amateur musician, I hear you overcoming the difficulties of being in isolation and making ensemble music by using technology in an outstanding way...but as a simple lover of music, I hear you rising to those challenges to create lovely, uplifting music to give to the world.

    lyrics:
    All that we've done
    We've lost, we've won
All that, all that and more
All the things you said to me
And all the times you prayed for me
And all the holy places we would go
I don't need to fool around
And I don't need to drool around
I'm with you 'til God says it's time to go
While others may have so much more to say
Each street we walk on's Les Champs-Elysées
    All that we've done
    We've lost, we've won
All that, all that and more
    All that we've seen
    We've heard, we've dreamed
All that, all that and more
All the smiles and all the frowns
And all the ups and all the downs
And all the fears that would soon be gone
    You ignore my gaping flaws
And I see you and I'm in awe
And look outside, it's very nearly dawn
I can't believe my luck in meeting you
Hey, help me out, I can't find my left shoe
    All that we've done
    We've lost, we've won
All that, all that and more
    All that we've seen
    We've heard, we've dreamed
All that, all that and more
    All that and more
    All that and more
    All that we've done
    We've lost, we've won
All that, all that and more
    All that we've seen
    We've heard, we've dreamed
All that, all that and more
    Summers are what I recall
The sun gave credence to it all
We'd waste a lot of time, this, that postponed
    Someday we'd do useful things
We'd rise above, be kings and queens
But new cheap chairs will always be our thrones
    All that we've done
    We've lost, we've won
All that, all that and more
    All that we've seen
    We've heard, we've dreamed
All that, thanks for the loan
