I wonder how people who sell locally shop and ship from the US as most companies do not accept international cards. I'm the other hands companies like Kentex are too expensive to shop and ship for resale. Might you have an idea? I want to buy for resale
I think most people buy stuff from China, and there they literally accept nearly everything. But from the US its easier if you actually have a US card or use a store that accepts international.

Hi, Great content Dickenns, when you use shipping only on savo store were you asked to pay any import fees on your item (the gimbal) ? What would be your total cost for just shipping as opposed to buy and ship on savo store.
In my experience you always only pay the $15/kg for shipping only... Nothing more. Thanks for the complement!

You only pay their price/kg.I guess they factor in their import duties in their pricing calculation

Here you go! Hehe. I've only used Mpesa to pay their shipping fee but I usually buy my items myself, but I know they usually have some charge if you want them to buy for you then you pay everything by mpesa. But yeah they usually send to your location... Savostore did send mine quite efficiently the last time.

Shake Moturi Savo Stores are very reliable. I’ve even bought furniture from Amazon.com through them. Everything arrived in good shape. You can either pay by Mpesa or bank transfer from your account to theirs. All info is on their website.

Hey, from what I know, Kentex has just one US address, somewhere in Texas. Shipping rates from Amazon will vary depending on where the product is coming from, Im sure Amazon has multiple warehouses.

I recently bought a tshirt which was for 10 dollar plus shipping fees and import fee so total I paid around 22 dollars. Goods arrived in Post office where I was also charged and they said they charge 35 percent as KRA. So I am fearing what if I buy a phone costing likr 15000, posta pple wl take like 5000+sh (KRA).
Yes that happens with Posta ... Thats why I don't use them! You can try using these services like Savostore or Kentex instead.

If you just use the agent's US address as your shipping address on Amazon, the shipping cost that will be included will be the one from Amazon to their warehouse in the US, which is much less than from Amazon to Kenya.
