Italiophobic thwomps run away from you (they don’t go in a straight line forever, it’s like a homing thwomp but opposite). You can use them to trigger mechanisms, release things you put inside when they see you,attach level conditions like don’t alert any italiophobic thwomps or even attach the level end flag to their head. There is no way this is unbalanced!
Surfer Thwomp: Just like the Thwomp in SM3DW, this one does not have any spikes, meaning that Mario cannot get killed by it. It also has sunglasses and a smile.
Jumpscare Thwomp! When you get nearby, the Thwomp jumpscares you for a second! Just imagine all the fun that could happen with this one, especially if there are like 20 of them all aligned! This totally won't scare people too much or give kids nightmares!
Train Thwomp: This thwomp can only be set to where the player can’t see it. When it comes at the player, the thwomps make the shape of a train. Even some of the thwomps become mini thwomps to be the wheels. When the player sees the first thwomp, there better be an invincibility star, or it’s guaranteed death.

You'll have all the powers of that thing, but can't turn into anything else! Be a Goomba so you can't jump, a bullet bill to fly straight forward, or a brick block to wait until another player enters the level to kill you and end your suffering!!!
Update for Super Mario maker 2! People keep accidentally killing themselves and loses their progress because of that, so now we send your soul into the game, so now you are possessing the character you are playing as until you finish the level!

But in the snow theme it's a snow thwomp, which is like a sand thwomp but even weaker because it can also get destroyed by any source of fire, like a few fireballs.
