Combining night themes would actually be awesome, even tho some features may seem bad at first, if you use the right in a creative way it can actually be fun. I already saw and build some levels with the unpopular themes. They were actually pretty nice

Lakatues throwing everything isn't a bad idea, but they should be able to throw sounds to the player. The new pause menu should be the example shown at 0:53. The time limit should go up to 999 before going to infinity. (This is still being updated overtime.)
Idea: Snake spikes They look like the normal spike enemies, but you can drag a path to determine where the spike balls will end up. Hopefully, not in mario’s face. They can also be given mushrooms, meaning more big, less predictable spike balls are thrown. That won’t upset anyone. Finally, the spike balls explode at the end of their path. Perfect for any level
P-OW! Block: When you hit it everything dies. How to tell the difference between a normal POW and the P-OW Block is….NO DIFFERENCE! Now people can suffer in more pain in troll levels!
Rejected Update: Bill Rizer's gun, turns the player character into Bill Rizer from the classic NES game, Contra. Basically, you're playing as Bill Rizer as he appears in Super Mario Bros. Crossover, but with Mario's jumping mechanics.

Idea: texture edit mode, where you can change the textures of all objects, enemies, background and characters as you want And it will definitely never be used as a troll, for example I change the texture of a spike to a 1-up mushroom ...
Giving enemies items: any enemy that touches a mushroom becomes bigger, any enemy that touches fireflowers spits fire unless it already does in which case it spits bigger fire...
Maybe having them pause at a certain moment could make it kind of funny like let’s say you collect the coin under Bowser and he just says nice and then he just dumped on you because it’s in
