@Dread There's a special build linked in the RPCS3 compatibility page for the game. That will play Metal Gear Solid 4, but not well. I wouldn't call it playable, but you can get past the intro television and control Snake.

This might be an affordable alternative once my HP Omen craps out. The Omen cost close to $1,300, has an I7, solid state, Nvidia 1050ti. But I've pushed this laptop to its limits making videos the last 3 years, I dont know how much longer it will last, and certainly cannot afford paying the $1,300 price tag of the Omen again. Yeah, both have an engine and drive from A to B, but there is still quite a difference between them, I'd say.
@@sagichdirdochnicht4653 Damn right! Tell 'em!
Even if you don't have a Walmart order it from online. If you have a debit or credit card then you should be able to buy things online. That is just my opinion.
I just bought this one of these the other day for 7 days 2 die I love it it is pretty good for a starter gaming laptop wish I could have got the sale price but I am still happy
I want this laptop more than words can describe.
get a refurbished nitro 5
@@maddog76 I ended up getting a used MSI laptop with the exact same specs except with 16gb ram for $275. It's awesome!!!
What a beast for that price! Start to lag audio with Skate 3 for Ps3😱😱😱
that you recommend me more, the same model but with an Intel Core i5-9300H or with an AMD Ryzen 5 4600H?
Something like this this year? My only black Friday buy will be a nice laptop :)
Seems like one of the best units for the money you have had on the channel in a while! 👍
Thank you for showing off some PS2 emulation.
men you are very lucky for being in usa, i got the last model before that one with a i5 8300h and gtx1050 at equivalent of 1000 USD in my country, well that was like 2 years ago so yeah
Ps2 runs like a dream on this 👍👍
I JUST GOT THIS LAPTOP ON SALE AND MY 2 FAVORITE TH-camRS SAID IT WAS AMAZING THIS IS THE GREATEST PURCHASE EVER. the other youtuber is the toasty bros btw
Ya thanks for causing the price to go up youtubers.
@@AnarickTheDevil yeah that one bad thing lol
I built a similar pc for under 450 CAD.
Ryzen 3 3200g
Corsair 8GB DDR4 Ram
AsRock B450M HDV R4.0
Vega 8 graphics
Adata 120GB SSD
Antec Minujet Case with 350w integrated PSU ( A bit dated, but works and smaller)
few things I can't beat with custom, in this case, is getting a gtx1650 in there, My main rig has one though. and the laptop CPU is slightly better than the ryzen, although, that's mostly due to 2x the threads.
Maybe some Switch and 360 emulation? Yuzu, Ryujinx, Xenia, etc.
Wow RPCS3 at 60fps thats amazing
Man PC prices are fucked outside of the US. My cousin bought the same laptop at at around 930 USD (67k INR) a week ago. Why are people with lower purchasing power expected to pay more than double for the same hardware?
T_T
funny thing, in my country this laptop costs almost as much as medium wage that is 1100$ (lowest ever price) :D no system included
Lol same for me
in portugal is about 800S , a minimum wage , where do u live sir?
Excellent performance for the price.
Man, I love your videos! Especially emulation running on pc. Would love to know how to run PS3.
Can you please show some of the higher end arcade based emulatation games from the teknoparrot emulator such as Daytona Championship USA, Battlegear 4, Gaelco Championship Tuning Racing, GRID, H2Overdrive, Initial D Arcade, Outrun 2, Sega Rally 3, Tokyo Cop, Valve Limit R, Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 5 (WMMT5) and all the Fast and the Furious racing games. I like rail shooters and racing games but racers are much faster pace so wanted to see how it handled them.
Just picked up the same model but with a Ryzen 4600h 6 core 12 thread, 1650, and 3200mhz ram. It’s at Best Buy for the same price.
Hello loves your video, could you show us you settings for each emulator? Thank you.
I need this it's so smooth man
The CPU readings on MSI AFTERBURNER are not accurate. The MHZ never changes. The % usage is correct though
