I love and respect that you are so great and yet humble. I know of some people that would rather cut off a limb then buy second clothes! .....They grow so quick, buy, use, and pass it on. You have given me so many ideas, I wish I could open a start. I look back at the things I have trashed and OMGOSH..........no, nope never again. Careful Julie, I was so busy in my own craft business, I realized that all of sudden my children had grown up. Children are so precious that we often forget how precious they are. In no time they were grown.
At 37.0 the white tub looks just like my baby bath tub. I somehow still have it in my garage. Have never done anything with it. I guess I could use it as a planter. Nice haul you got.
I love old salvage. I have it all over the garden etc. My husband salvaged some peeled cedar siding for me and installed on the walls of my garage shop. My salvage finds look awesome installed like the vintage brackets now holding up shelves. Im so blessed!! Its much more inspiring to work in a cozy well put together shop. He installed a fireplace and I have a vintage stove to melt candles and heat water. A little radio and Im in heaven!! Great finds!!
Oh! I forgot to say... GOOD idea on the old wash tub! I'm gonna sooo get in my living room tomorrow and do that to my Christmas tree! Hee Hee! ☺ Thank you!

You can use that placemat and wrap it around a tall glass vase and secure it and then fill in with cement and then send off and paint that would be very neat!

Oh my what a haul. I love also going to Harbor Freight and just walking through the store and finding great deals. That estate sale was amazing and would take days to check out everything. I like to dig but you are right you have to be in the mood to go through everything

If the milk bottle is old, the top bubble part is where the cream settled. You could use the cream separately or shake it to incorporate into the milk. that's from a time when they delivered milk to your house.
Go back for the chair... big screen frame is super.. and may I say, as far as your monthly lunch date goes.. whatever you are doing is working a treat 😊👌

The glass bottle I believe was used to contain milk before the pasteurized milk the little bubble which were the cream was held and the first person that got milk out of the bottle if they didn’t shake it they had all the cream. It’s been years since I’ve seen one. But I am at 82 years old so I guess I’ve seen a little more than younger people again love your videos keep them up
Harbor freight has been a favorite for a long time I just got a paint sprayer and an air cutoff tool but have many tools from there some day I'm getting a planer and a lathe,, love that little funnel shaped wicker piece

I live on the Canada/US border, they opened a Harbor Freight and a Hobby Lobby just when they closed the borders, can't wait to shop there when it's safe to do so! 😁
Hi Julie If you want a cute tree for your out door kitchen take a tomato cage put into up side down and put in pot wire the top to make a tree then you take Christmas garden greenery and then decorate after Christmas is over just put a plastic sack over and store it a way for next year

Me, too :) And it was really done well. I picked up some needlepoint several years ago. While I hated to cut it up, I did use one to cover a tiny footstool for a granddaughter.

I have FOMO but never knew that term! Your area has great things. I just subscribed after one video. Now binge watching. I’m in southern. My previous coastal area doesnt have much and anything for sale thrift, yard or otherwise is totally overpriced. We retired inland to ranch rural. And such a difference. Small thrift in our smal town but many bit well to do retirees here and since Los Angeles only 3 hours south west lots of great high end items, like clothing for me to remake. But also mroe ranch and farm junk! The prices are average $2. I gained a 2 car garage sized craft studio all my own. In 3 years have managed to fill it up. Most is sewing. Part is for painting and other crafts. Our 3 years has been fixing up this neglaceted but artist built home, guest cottage and my craft building. All was overgrown, dead trees and nothing else in the yard. An acre lot. Been a lot of work but keeps us busy. 10 vintage machines now i fix myself. Was teaching sewing. My focus is always Upcycle. I only sell at local farmers market in part to convey the upcycle idea. I want the young to learn to sew. Steal my ideas! I sell for very minimal price too. This happened with the town wanting al I wore and my jean bags. Now moving into some yard items for myself. Bought old bench to refinish. Learning decoupage. I have more ideas than time. Eventually i want to make a teaching channel on youtube. My blog is hard to deal wit too. Need to research a better one. In the meantime i will be watching you. You really have a different eye even if inspired by others. Love your style!

Wow that was so much fun! I can't believe I only found you a few days ago ! Just wanted to say the wire basket you found with the handle on it was what we used to put our fries in and set them down into a pot of hot oil to deep fry. Ok im giving my age away now 😁 I'm a 80s girl . I don't do very much deep frying anymore. Except when I have to make fried chicken 😁. I loved all your finds but I loved the big furniture legs thats you're planning to make into candle holders .. oh wow i know that turned out pretty! I think I saw u posted this video 10 months ago.
