Me being in a engineering class for my first year of high school and getting to work with some of that type of equipment and knowing the extensive work and measuring that dosent go on camera really makes me respect these people keep up the good work

It's a fourth wall within a fourth wall... That's, like, sixteen walls!
Yeah. If you had each point of the inner triangle supporting the weakest part (flats) of the outer wall, that would be pretty ideal IMO. If you wanted to attach each of the 5 inner points to the outer center flats, it might be tough, as to actually attach them would be weak points in the poly. Would love to see that design. I think they'd have a lot of trouble in both building it and opening it.
This was insanely good engineering. To build something that complex that just slots together is harder than I think a lot of people realise.

If you added a groove channel to two of the inner panels that meet, a cable could have been routed through there to a port to the outside in order to recharge the interior batteries for the LED lights without sacrificing the design aesthetics - though I'm not sure how to make it so that the port would be hardened. I'll leave that to the engineering department :)
Edit: As a fan of Hellraiser, it would actually be pretty sweet to have something like this done on a smaller scale, but with the interior box being a Lament Configuration, with the exterior sheets being laser-etched with similar designs.
Henry was great in this video. He talks more fluidly and makes the project seem more energetic. Hope he can come back for future videos.

If you want to counter the Lightsaber/Plasma Cutter, maybe it's worth trying to get a hold of a Bismuth/Steel composite material with higher durability metals mixed in. Bismuth should nullify the plasma properties of the two due to its lack of conductivity, and as a result reduce their effectiveness on the Tesseract. Quite a dangerous idea though, properties are still being examined.

@@Ninjollie the space stone is in the tesseract in the movies, so I assume that one
the fact that you used two smaller sheets of material for the see through part actually increased the strength of the box. they are able to bend and flex more before breaking and thus take much more force. its the same reason why bows are laminated wood and not just one solid piece.

Tesseracts are fun. I once made a simulation to see what a tesseract looks like, and it starts getting trippy when you perform rotations using the fourth spatial dimension.
