I want to see this with some minor changes.
1) Combustion chamber tear-dropped rather than cylindrical.
2) Nozzle-exit slightly tighter.
3) Nozzle-exit being a longer tube, rather than point, which spirals (possibly with a double helix as well for diverting excess gas, but this is hardly reasonable for this level)
The ideas being: More force applied in a smaller 'beam' - similar to how plasmacutters work.
Charles’ camera skills and video skills have gotten so much better since his first project. Feels much more comfortable. Keep it up!

Couple of observations. First if you want to maximize the shock wave you want the end totally open.
Second, if you want to study DeLaval nozzle design you can generate supersonic air blasts that come with an attendant sonic boom. Note you'll have to build much stronger and structural failure will be thusly more dangerous. I.e. test behind sufficient barriers.
Your nozzle was optimized for subsonic flow WITHOUT the final cone. Getting rid of the second cone was the best thing you could have done as area expansion decreases subsonic flow.
There are some tricks with the venturi effect that would take your subsonic flow and drastically increase the amount of air that impacts the target. Thus works because you want to maximize momentum not energy.
Loved that quote: "we didn't hit everything, but what we did hit definitely died." I might have to try and make this one at home sometime.

there is no replacement for volume, but more volume.
And replacing the vinyl tubes with vinyl tubes let's us use 30% more tube per combustion chamber to give you even more power behind each shot.

I have something for you if you want to build it. It is a wind powered system.
The system uses a turbine blade fan inside of a home air conditioning duct
The fan system is powered by the air conditioning system.
When turning, the fan turns the shaft of an alternator. As long as the air conditioning system is on all of the time, it generates electricity.
The alternator must have little resistance maybe with a torque converter.

This looks like the prop for an alien laser cannon out of an old film.
Want a real plasma cannon make sure the fuel air mix is slightly rich. Make sure a it has a mist of some ionizable metal like sodium etc. Then have 3 magnetrons at the second chamber to heat the fireball to plasma temperatures. Finally use pulsed magnetic fields to compres it into a vortex ring and heat it even more. Not really sure what it would be good for but would be a legit plasma cannon.🤓

The medium size model would be perfect if you're cosplaying as Megatron (or Galvatron). A slightly smaller size would be good for Megaman, but the cannon placement might be more dangerous.
I really wish the descriptions and stuff were clearer. I found it really hard to follow. Like the part about the printed piece and what it does. But I love how the materials used are listed, makes it very real, and I gotta say, the cinematography is spectacular.

the problem of the explosion might have come from the size of the nozzel.during the explosion air had to excape from bottle, but the nozzel was too small for such pressure thereby making it to force its way out by explossion

If you want to achieve that kaboom you were looking for, the funnel has to be bigger to release more energy. What you were doing is you are trapping all the pressure that is trapped in a huge chamber and escaping out of that small hole of that funnel. My advice is make the hole of the funnel a bit bigger to release more energy and obtain that KA-BOOM you were looking for 😁😉

Imagine breaking into hacksmith industry. Every employee holds a lightsaber, james is in an iron man outfit, and you are prepared. Then all of a sudden you get melted with the worlds hottest pillow fight mattress
This is essentially a rocket engine and you could make a lot of improvements to get a better flow. First, you want to ensure that the gas flow at the throat of the nozzle is the local speed of sound, which you can do by finding some readily available equations. Secondly, the geometry leaves a lot to be desired. Idk how you'd do this without custom metal parts (i.e., no plastic), but if your exit side's nozzle has smooth curvature at the throat and exit so that the immediate angle is parallel with the axis, you'd lose less energy.
Your biggest issue is that if at any point in the combustion chamber can sufficiently produce shockwaves, you've created a wall. That's why you optimize for sonic conditions at the throat because it ensures that everything behind it will be subsonic.

They can weaponize it and make it launch projectiles. But i won't say how for legal reasons
ok so the next step on that is to make all materials harder and to magnetically accelerate the plasma out of the chamber through the nozzle. and then you have a plasma blaster.
I thought the big chamber exploding was the best result of them all. I love my explosions.

In the philippines, we call it "Buga" as a substitute for fireworks. It's made by stacking tin cans to look like a cannon. Some are made traditionally with bamboo. it's the material that makes the difference but the principle is the same.

Hint, use sonotube for the muzzle. It comes in large sizes. Cardboard concrete forms. Cheap barrel.
