I need to try and stop by!
I will always try to make time for, but you should call ahead 24 hours!
😂😂😂 down the rabbit hole we go - WEEEEEEEEE! 🤣
If it ever does run with that stocker engine it will be an anti climax I guess, but it is one step in a bigger plan.
Any average car over 30 years old deserve a renovation
Probably fair, at least if it is still a basically solid car. I can tell you that this car actually saw electrical power applied last week for the first time in many years and is slowly starting to shudder back to life. Stay tuned for more!
Wouldn't it be nice if Ford would make like 500,000 of these once again. These cars cost a fortune when we do projects like yours.
I'm pretty behind on videos on this project because I have been trying to get it done before dyno starts back up this spring, and it's fair to say that it has cost some money, but MOST of the stuff that will turn this car back into a car was in the parts package that I bought, so it's not as bad financially as it might seem. The big issue is that it is not just a lot of work, but it is a lot of tedious work sorting through cans of random fasteners and trying to figure out what was actually done with the wiring, and another darn heater core, and this type of project might not be a very good idea for guys who are not already VERY familiar with these cars because it is hard to pick up the threads. As to cost, yes, a nice Foxbody in Alberta costs $20000 or more dollars as a starting point, but a new GT rag costs $75000, and a bag of groceries costs 50% more than a couple of years ago, so while there is some real sticker shock, the comparative pricing of a project like this is probably not quite as bad as it seems. This is a solid car, but it's not a NICE car, so turning it into a NICE car could be pretty big money.
