Fitting Anembo Engineering 20mm Axle Spacers to my Fiesta ST150

- After fitting the side skirt extensions and rear bumper spats in the last video, I noticed it made the rear of the car look a bit wider, but that further exaggerated how far the rear wheels are tucked into the wheel arches. So I decided that, as I like the standard ST150 alloys, I'd fit some spacers. I've heard horror stories about hub/wheel spacers destroying wheel bearings so although its more work, I went with axle spacers. I went with Anembo Engineering 20mm axle spacers as they're made from billet, rather then their cast aluminium counterparts which are prone to breaking down from oxidisation.

@@MendItModIt Too right mate, fitted the Eibach Pro springs today too, 35mm front 30mm back combined with the spacers it’s looking spot on now and sticks to the road like a go kart 😁👍

Think some mud flaps will look good. Cars starting to look really good. TRC stuff is on my want list lol. Need to save up.
As long as they are flaps that flap.. I have some hard ones, they grind the floor at times and bends the bracket.

Good question. I have the same upgrade and I found the rear end felt more planted but less playful
should do, you're widening the tracking.
@@poosh6529 what do you mean by less playful? I'm watching this vid after loosing the back end on my week old ST 🤣 saved it but I can't throw it through corners like I could with my vw passat saloon
@@-Dan-665 You're right, in the wet you can still ask it for lift off over steer if you really want. Passat has a longer wheelbase too
I've currently got the genuine ford cast ones but they are old and probably falling apart and I'm swapping them to anembo

would you recommend getting 15 or 20mm? do the 20s rub at all?
20s don’t rub on mine, and that’s 25-35mm lowered on ST wheels, my mates got 28mm spacers, same wheels and same springs and his only rubs ever so slightly with 2 or 3 people in the back of that helps

@@MendItModItNot sure wether to go for normal or axel, my car is probably sitting at 40mm so i’ll raise it slightly to about 35

Performance wise I’m not sure but it would make sense. Cars had a flat since I fitted them so I’ve not had chance to push it 😂
