This is very helpful. I've got a background in analog synthesis but am just starting to figure out how VCV Rack, hardware synths, and Logic Pro can work together. Side note - love your channel! :)
Hey man! thanks for your awesome videos. How do I adjust the BPM with the Keystep then?? it will automatically sync to my DAW or what? is the DFAM going to move at the same speed? THanks!! :D lov u
Subharmonicon: walked though step by step but the midi signal still doesn't sync the clock to Logic... not sure why. I can send midi notes to the Sub and all that but when I just have logic playing it's not synced at all. seems to play back in triplets for some reason. any ideas?
Hi. Thanks for this great video! Really appreciate it. I experience something. If I click stop in Ableton or Logic while syncing clock over MIDI, Mother 32 LEDs become corrupt. Everything works ok but the leds. Please try, stop the running sequence of Mother 32 using a DAW’s stop button. Then try to erase sequence, change octave, anything. Is it my mother32 or a firmware issue, I do not know. Best regards.
@@Tiger.ArcadeThanks so much for the video! Follow-up question to @SW-su6iz: Syncing my Mother-32 to my DAW (Ableton) via MIDI works fine. However, neither Sub nor DFAM can then be synced to Mother-32 via CV. There does not seem to be a clock output from Mother-32 to the others. Am I missing something? Thanks again, very cool channel!
That sweater is straight fire.
Just bought these three and I was just thinking about this and I Use Logic also ---Priceless -thank you . Lee Sheffield Uk

Thanks for watching! Glad you found it helpful too!
Hello Tiger,
Thanks for your helpful methods.
Small question: what font do you use at 00:25?
Thanks
I think it’s called SOAP ✌️
@@Tiger.Arcade Thank you Tiger font
I use my Behringer RD-9 as the "bridge" from digital to cv sync.
Great explanation. Thanks

Thanks you for the video. So after connecting e.g. Mother 32 to sync. What is the next step to sync the sub and dfam to mother?
So mother will be the master clock. Send clock output in patchbay to the multi then one to subh and other to dfam. There’s different ways to do it.

I just got a Werkstatt, is an audio interface into my Mac the solution so I can record into Garageband?
Total newbie I´m afraid!
TIA/J
Yes! Exactly! 👏👏👏
Thanx a lot 😁
Is it possible to sync for example mother 32 with my tascam model 12 and than choosing model 12 like audio interface in ableton? 😅 thank’s
With midi, yes!

Cool! Thanks! I could use a refresher on Logic midi ctrl... But I can find that in a bunch of places. Tech Help Guy, and WLPR.
I think there’s a 4th option - use a midi router. It connects via usb, and then you connect your midi devices
I’d say there’s even a fifth with a eurorack module as a master clock 🕰️
you're not on Bandcamp, then?
I’m on all major streaming platforms 😎
