    Such a musical use of this setup. I have been contemplating getting the Moog Sound Studio 3 bundle but thought it might be just been an expensive noise making system. This proves otherwise. Excellent!

    Cool performance tipps! Especially patching during the performance takes time to learn but wields interesting results 👍 you did the patching and arranging very musically 😊

    Another excellent tutorial, really appreciate the time you've taken to produce this. I've been played keyboards and piano for many years but these instruments are a whole new learning curve. I have definitely not found any really good straightforward tutorials like yours that show what great results can be achieved. Thanks again for bothering to do this, now on to part 3 and then all I need is some spare time !

    are you by chance planning on doing a video on your tascam mixer? would love to know how you're using it, how it integrates in your setup, etc. considering it's such a versatile mixer

    @forktongue so you didn’t patch the Triangle LFO out of the Mother-32? You were just increasing the rate on the Mother-32, correct? I got a little confused there because I didn’t see a patch cable in the Triangle LFO output. Thanks! Love these videos! I have another question I’ll ask soon!

    Do you have a hint how to start patching without any knowledge? I am new to the Studio bundle and its a bit overwhelming.

      Hi buddy, have you ever heard of the saying there is no such thing a stupid question? Well with the sound studio there is no such thing as a bad patch, the best way to learn is just to accidentally find how to use it. I once met someone who made patches for a living and he told me his secret was he left the room and got his kids to mess with the settings so he could find something new. You kind of learn as you go and really don’t stop as the possibilities are endless, how that helps. (Or you could find the Moog foundation series of basic synth lessons, that also helps)!

    I m confused @ 3.04. The clocks are synced, so how did you increase the tempo on mother 32.

    • @Cutflower
      @Cutflower  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is exactly right, they are just multiplications on the mother 32 of the original tempo!

      Yes it’s the clock divisions Moog added in the “new” Mother-32 firmware update (2.0.1 I believe).

    @Forktongue Hey, thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. I am new to synths. I began a couple of months ago with the Moog Mavis and now I have the Sound Studio 3. I will be assembling it together this weekend and will follow the manuals then experiment with what you have put onto video. Very cool stuff. When you run reverb or delay do you run it between the output on the SS3's mixer and the speaker or do you run it between the units of the SS3? I have an old 1980s Ibanez Multi Effects box from my guitar days and would like to run the Analog Delay portion with my SS3. Thanks!
