With doubts, I tried it today, and to my surprise, it made chipping and even full hitting much easy. From my wedges to my 5 wood, I'm more consistent by putting slightly more weight on my front foot. Thank you very much for your very effective solutions.
Gave so many strokes away within 15 yards of the green last year. I’m on a mission to change that. Bought a 62 degree wedge because bump and run wasn’t working. Thanks for the help.
My courses have very tight lies near greens so even a 60-degree wedge is a challenge. It works but requires concentration. What would you use on tight lies?
Hi Jimmy. It's very interesting that the good golfers I played with spent more time working on their chippings and puttings and that's what I love to do if I only have 30 minutes or less to practice. And the guys who have hard time breaking 90, they would run straight to the tee box after a few chippings and puttings and then they complained throughout the round why they couldn't play better. I guess we all have our own priorities 😁. Thanks for the chipping tips!!
I really enjoy your lessons and humor and style of presenting. BUT, I use whatever club the lie calls for to chip with...basically from a lofted hybrid to a 56 degree wedge. For me it's all about how the ball lies and what's in front of me, not just doing the same thing cause "cut and paste" golf doesn't work in all situations.
I agree with you to a point. I refuse to learn 50 diff ways to chip a ball. I use one and perfect it. Its too much to think about out there. I rinse and repeat.
Literally, tonight, I was going to take the 69* wedge out of my bag because it was doing nothing but costing me strokes. Now it's staying in until I go to the practice area and try this out. . Then it will come out of the bag. 😆 Maybe.
Thanks Jimmy. Using the mentality of just get the ball on the green has saved me 4-6 strokes a round.
thats the secret. you must think your way around the course. thanks for watching. jimmy - www.tropicanagolfshop.com
Dang… you probably got the simplest teaching method I’ve seen in a while THANK YOU
Thank You!!
I love his confidence

Thanks for watching
Thanks, Jimmy!
When you are swinging the V, do you rotate your body or does it stay still like in putting?
Thanks
I dont know hahaha. Swing the V back and swing it forward.

Thanks for the lesson jimmy! Which club do you recommend to play off the green ?

gold demo. What is the ball position? Couldn't see it in the view you were using.
Thanks
I play everything. Middle/back foot
A good friend of mine gave me this chipping tip
… and it really works
☝🏻“Focus on the FRONT of the ball”
Try it.
More good stuff 👊🏻
I’ve never tried that, but I think a lot of people will top the ball if they do that

Chipping and putting add up to more than 3/4 of your shots. You better be good.
Love your videos, Jimmy!
Thanks for watching
Awesome Jimmy
Thanks for watching
Getting up and down is critical. Your missed 2nd need to get close to save par
Great easy tip chief!
Great tips Jimmy. Just bought a 69 degree wedge. Working on it.
You got it! Thanks for watching. New video coming sunday
Can I use that technique for a pitch shot?
You sure can

Hi jimmy, the ball is on the inside of your left leg? Ron
I play the ball almost just inside my back foot
This is exactly how I chip!
That’s great. Its how it should
Be done
I'm convinced the average golfer with a bit of practice can putt and chip like a scratch golfer.
I totally agree, and since I adopted this mindset a few months ago, it will work. Gotta practice and folks would be amazed 😊.
100%
This is your 69 wedge?? How does it go so far with such a short backswing?? Love to see more face on shots on your videos.
Thank you😉
Golfers should use less loft, you did not show up the bump and run shot.
60 deg is more likely to chunk than not.
No idea what you’re saying. This video is literally how to stop chunking the ball. You can use any club and it wont chunk
Luvit
Thanks
Jimmy, not everyone has or wants to buy a 69 degree wedge. Show us some shots using some other clubs.
@@sandradepeaux4670 ive tried using other clubs. Cant play with them. Thats why I use my 69

Don’t take it out of your bag. Once you learn how to use it, it is a true weapon.
