    There is video of Hogan in his 70's. He only has a 50% swing, but the shots are dead straight with distance.

      Slight correction: This clip was at the very latest 1958, perhaps as early as 1952. Even at the later date, Hogan,, who was born in 1912, would be 46 years old, and probably younger here.

    Jimmy - no matter what ANYONE tells you, your unedited videos are THE BEST! Always keep this style. Seeing you go from hole to hole with no break and to hear your swing thought commentary makes things so simple.
    Never change.

    At the end of 2023 I was getting to where I could break 100. I have always sucked at golf. In November of 2023 I shot a 95 and thought I had finally made it. Watched this video and thought I would try it this year. Got to the course for the first time this season (I have done minimal practice since November.) I shot an 86 today. Just using the Ben Hogan genius.

    Love the video. My game is terrible right now, the more I try the worst it gets. But after watching your last video about keeping it easy and this one I had a great range day. Just what I needed. Thanks again.

    Jimmy , shot 81 today using this swing and using some of your mental attitudes , couple of short putts cost me breaking 80 for the first time. ( In crappy UK weather as well lol ) Thanks so much for your time and effort in doing these videos. With love from the GB .

    In the golf biz, we call it the fundamental of "connection". Keep the arms attached to the chest. Triceps glued to pectoral muscles. Good call. 💪🏻

    I’ve recently found your channel and you are absolutely correct with maintaining a consistent swing. I was playing this past year and one thing I noticed was that ball striking and control improved considerably when I made a shorter back swing. you mention swinging to waist high as the thought. Sometimes I tend to over swing when playing with some other better players. Once I get back into “My Swing” the ball striking improves. The interesting thing is as you say the distance doesn’t suffer just swing smooth thru the ball and keep the head down. You have a great channel.

    • @TropicanaEntertainment
      @TropicanaEntertainment  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      you're correct. hitting the center of the club face makes for good results no matter how far you take it back.

    You are 100% correct. I have tried this and the ball goes dead straight. Thank you for helping my game. All the other golf gurus are so over the top and looking for clicks that they stopped seeing the forest from the trees. The fact that they have to put out hundreds of videos on the golf swing shows that they know nothing. I only watch you and Warren Bennet. That's it. Stay Nasssti.

Any suggestions on what is the main cause of one not bottoming the club head consistently? I have too many fat or thin shots . When I am hitting consistently I never take a divot.

    Bernhard Langer I think, had a good tip which I've been using successfully for years. In an interview he said all he does is "left shoulder over right knee then right shoulder over left knee" of course while letting the club swing. Seems very similar to "turn back then turn through".

    G'day Jimmy from Australia.
    Question; I see a lot of videos on ball placement in the stance, and find that the long the iron the further forward the ball has to be. You've said in your video that the 3 iron you hit was closer to your back foot. I've trouble hitting my longs irons (4,5) so I tried your tip, but it's not working. Can you tell me what I may doing wrong? I know this is difficult without you seeing me. Thanks for the awesome videos, my game has improved a lot since watching you. BTW I'm a high handicap golfer (age; 53) and have just taken the game up only a year ago.

    • @bartbug1
      @bartbug1 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TropicanaEntertainment I just continually thin the shots with the 4 and 5 iron, but I have no problem with the 6 thru to Wedges....It's probably more of a mindset issue, as in I just "hex" myself with those clubs.

    Just because you hit the ball lower doesn’t mean you loose distance I go to the Australian open evry year also we have touring pro that uses the range at our local club he hit his 7 irion just as low as his 3 irion no distance lost most tour pros don’t hit the ball high as much as people think low for Dow high for show other than there drivers Rory hits it low and many others Scott hits it high Matt jones hits high Jason day hit high many others hit low shots the miss understanding is golf coaches try to get most club golfers to hit it high to get the ball in the air
