- Today we return to the pier in Pattaya and board a speedboat to our next Thailand Island. We are dropped off directly at my choice of beaches and check-in to our hotel. I need to wait all day for my special package to be delivered. I discover why the delivery takes so long and discuss the reasons. Enjoy the Ride! Part 2 tomorrow.

Now that is a nice beach with clear blue water.
30 years of traveling to Thailand 1987-2018, but I never been to Koh Larn! Would have been nice to have visited right now without the crowds. Thanks for sharing this video Lucas!
Wow ,it's a lovely day out mate ,but avoid darker water when going into the sea ..Sea urchin are a bugger if you step onto them😏
Lovely now, with no tourists, but pre 2004 it was at its best. No tourists, no roads (there was only a dirt track from the "port" to Samae and Tian beaches), and virtually nothing built on the beaches. 2000/2001 no word of a lie, many times my girlfriend and myself would often be the only people on the beach all day. We had to rely on the motorcycle taxi to remember to pick us up at 5pm too, as there was no mobile phone coverage! LOL
Great Vid , beautiful beach and the water is amazingly clear, wouldn’t mind staying a couple of day’s there on my next trip to Pattaya, thank you for a great idea 🙏🏽

Good to see how Vee looks after you and sees you don't get ripped off, my GF does the same for me but sometimes it can get a bit annoying, makes me feel as though I can't look after myself. Oh and by the way my green house is not green. P.S. I was wondering about the English classes.

Must've been to Koh Larn over a hundred times. Always day trips though, never overnight. It's a wonderful island. Beautiful beaches.

Lovely Island had been there last year for one day touring and regreted didn't stay there couple of days ,next time definitely once Thailand open up for international tourists.
We stayed at Sukkeebeach KohLarn Resort just a few doors down, I saw the places you went too, we didn’t book ahead which was a great advantage as I thought Sukkeebeach was much better, it also has a good restaurant attached and found it to be the best place to eat too, 1,000baht a night including breakfast. Also we did a deal on a Song-thaw driver 300baht for a tour of the island, a nice guy, he joined us for a meal that we gave him on another beach and we had the whole day to go the Buddha Statue and most of the beaches. Yes I think Tawean is a good choice to stay. Beyond the pier there’s a trendy bar Le Wave and next to it a brand new place with large bubble tents and lots of baths, very strange but cool!

Hi L, this was a great post, I have been to Koh Larn once and was going to stay overnight until 2 Asian guys got scammed with Jetski's hire within an hour of each other and on the same Jetski so I just got on the next ferry back to Pattaya.
And to make my blood boil they were high 5'ing each other after each guy had gone 'Assisted' to I assume was an ATM.
My understanding was that they have stamped that out now, regardless I will never hire a Jetski in Thailand.
It is nice there and I would go again after this post and make it an overnighter.

Yeah, I saw all the jet ski rentals on the beach, they looked legit, but I have seen the scam pulled in real time on Pattaya beach.
Never rent a jet ski in Thailand, period.
Nice review of the Koh Larn beach and hotels ! Thank you enjoy , don't get stung in the water like my friend ! The locals were kind and helped him with I think lime and kept wacking the sting with a spoon , yes true story ! He survived but in pain for days ...

Was it an urchin? If so my friend stepped on one in Koh Phi Phi and it was recommended by a local to pee on his foot 🦶 and that took most of the pain away, I guess the ammonia in the urine does something , crazy huh !

Only been to Ko Samet, down the southern end where few tourist go. I was in a small resort from the past that had it's own little cove, it was glorious. Noticed they were using Knobby tyres on scooters, be a good place for your moto :)

Oh man, I bet you were ticked off at Vee, but you were polite as you could be, PAY ATTENTION! Vee! 😁 The captain was cool, he saw you, and not the truck's driver so unloaded yours first, but I would have liked to see them unload that truck. Vee looking after your wallet bringing food ,bless her ,you won't see that often Lucas .Only once spent the day there but enjoyed it .The girl i was with took great fun on me walking back across the blue walkway to the boat ..(we had a few beers )😏But the both of us standing on sea urchins put a dampener on the day but great all the same 👍Falang come first and your bike appears ..Thats another first for me 😏

I stayed at the Xanadu resort the last time i've stayed on Koh Larn. My skin turned red as a lobster but i enjoyed myself.
Most of those hotels include a rental scooter with the room. There's 4 beaches on that island. All very nice.
Good news: Your bike was unloaded first.
Bad news: We will never know for sure how they got the baht bus off the landing craft. 🤣
did you see the vehicle ramps on the front of the boat? they put those down and drive the vehicles off.
Missing Koh Larn one of my favorite place when Have short holiday in Thailand ,hope you will find a sea view room
Not too many on the Island but there are options, keep in mind, sea view is on thing but there may not be a beach threre.

You just ride the scooter around from beach to beach. Easy to rent a scooter for 200 a day. Maybe 300. You don't have to rent a room right on the beach. The island isn't that big. Be sure to check the hang gliding school way up no the hill.

I remember that beach. On a hot day its hotter in the water than out-of-the-water. That's because its flat and shallow.

Hello the hotel on the beach, was it beside the hotel you stayed at?
Also is there disabled access on the ferry boat or even the speed boat, I am with my sister and she finds big steps hard to climb.

The hotel was s little further down the beach, I wouldn't say the boats have access for disabilities but I would think the people there would assist in anyway possible getting on or off the boat.

Everytime I see a vlog of a pristine Thai beach with almost no tourists, the more I curse myself for being stuck where I am now. Even if we had all the money in the world, it can't buy a simple ticket to where we need to be.

Ozzy666... True ..I looked at going out there for a few days ..and was quoted 3000THB TO 6000THB a night in 2019 and 18 ....Plus was booked out over 3 weeks ahead. Hence out side my plan's .. U R so lucky to be there now and empty. .Amazing ... I'm now regretting listerning to the advice back in Feb 2020.. to leave and go home while this Thing works it out .. looks like i could found remote beach some where and took up 1 month long term rent rates and sit back and enjoyed the quietness and tourist free beaches .. ( Wondering how the Dive shops R going ) Sucks you only went out for 2 nights u should went for a full week lucus
