- Today we go to Bali Hai Pier in Pattaya and catch a boat out to a new restaurant which is a bit of an evening hot spot. The Raft, as I call it, has brilliant food, live music and you can try your hand at squid fishing as well, which may make this the best place for an evening out in Pattaya right now.

Not having popcorn in the movie theater, preferably with butter, is sacrilege! That floating restaurant is awesome. If they had something like that with rooms would you get one? A floating restaurant with rooms. I think that would be super! Congrats to Vee for the most squids.

Dining and Fishing! Cool! Popular place and the food looked good. The always stylish Vee caught three squid, because she wore appropriately horizontally stripped sailing shirt. I've seen a lot of tattoos, but garter tattoos were a first. Not complaining. Cheers!

Nice to see a few Thai's have work... The restaurant looks like an oasis of normalcy... The squid fishing looks more exciting than the shrimp fishing one of your previous vid's showed (and no extra charge for the catch...555)... Wonder how far from shore they have to be to be exempt from the draconian decrees... Definitely a place to go on a dry night (aka: didn't look like much cover available)

Enjoyed the video mainly as otherwise I'd never see the place. Scared of water and boats (dont care if it doesn't rock), sitting on the ground, or worse, sitting on a net over the sea - in the dark! Nope. Keep 'em coming though. Enjoy watching these with my breakfast.

I see some decry the place it is not for everyone. I like the idea and look what you get for your money a ride in a speed boat eat good food and fishing, also you get to eat what you caught. I am unsure about eating it myself. Crustaceans shellfish are the garbage cleaners of the oceans not so sure what squid eat but the fact they pump raw sewage into the bay gives it a question mark for me but if the locals eat it then I will.
Price a little over $50 for two is reasonable for what you get.

Thanks for showing me a place not to visit. Looked like they ran out of money. Novelty value does not get repeat custom. Food didn't look much better than the decor. Saved me the experience. Thanks for that. Keep vids coming, always entertaining!

Too much raw human sewage went into that bay for years for anything like that squid to be safely edible and not give you pretty nasty stomach problems.
