If you mean expansions... there has been board game expansions for years.
I also like to think of the power packs as a dlc, so thank you for not making feel like the only person I know who thinks of it that way.

I got this for my birthday recently.
One thing I've found in practice is that it's quite easy for the game to become one-sided.
For instance, one character will run out of money and have no property while one player will end up completely loaded.
So, Josh... how bout that new Smash Bros?

good review, but the quality is pretty disappointing for a big brand like Hasbro, soo much cardboard. no waluigi, wario or Daisy? but metal mario as additional content? it's like an even worse version of mk8's roster all over again lol

Can't say I was too into this. There was no criticism at all. I get that it was a sponsored video but it just made the video boring. The Master Trainer videos were great. You brought up the goods and the bads and the content was amusing. This sounds like a Hasbro employee watched maybe 3 of your videos and wrote a script for you.

I have Mario monopoly gamer and I frickin love it so much. Funny story, my brother and I impulse bought the entire game and additional figures for Christmas. We had lots of fun playing it, I recommend it.

I was curious on the differences and you answered all my questions :) I really hope that they come out with a collectors edition!!! I wish they included walawigi, Wario, diddy as well. It would have been cool if metal mario was made of metal. Honestly though I am super hyped and excited for this version :)I cant wait to get it!

I like how the Monopoly Gamer Mario edition plays out, and the Mario Kart edition looks like one heck of a fun version too.
I have the Monopoly Gamer, and I always called it Mario Kart the board game. As a hobbyist board gamer,. I absolutely love it
My friend actually brought this to school and and we loved it.
When I heard about it a few days ago, I thought "Huh. Mario Kart Monopoly." Did NOT expect THIS to show up THIS quick.

Imagine playing this except like Mario party: each time you land on a track themed space you hop over to MK8D and play through that track, then giving out coins according to placement
Looked fun and interesting, definitely on my wishlist
So far I have both Mario Gamer Monopoly games and the Sonic version, and they're all super fun actually! I think I like the Sonic version the best as it's hands down the fastest to play, though I wish it had some extra characters to get like the 2 Mario versions did.

Board game dlc..? I mean I guess its not much different than booster packs in TCGs but it just seems odd.. but hey if theres a market for board game booster packs... dlc... whatever you want to call it all the more power to Hasbro and the players.
There have been board game expansion and booster packs for years. In fact, this is pretty tame compared to some star wars figure board games.
RCarnival do you like cards agenst humanity? They have about 200 expansions at this point.

The Mudkid That would be insane! And you also have to use the same character that you're using on the board, along with the standard Kart and tires. That would make for some interesting hangouts with friends.

1. How come Rainbow Road is the one from Mario Kart 64?
2. Why only the non DLC tracks?

I actually played this game exactly once and got Mario Karted. I had the lead from about the second race to the final race until the cold, unempathic die cost me both Rainbow Road and my 50 point race in the rematch. I came in second...

Seriosly thought about buying some of those individual racer tokens when I see them at gamestop cause I'm such a fiend for collectible figures.
I wish they made a Waluigi mini kart token for this set. They left him out of the other Monopoly Mario set to. Hopefully they make a series 2 for the sold separately figures. I doubt it though.

I created a Mario Kart board game about 6 years ago in a free lesson :-) I still have it to this day :-)
They should make a Splatoon Gamer Monopoly where the main objective of the game is to own the most properties once they've all been acquired.
I honestly want this plus all the extra figures just for new Mario Kart figures.
