    In my opinion, the best Glock.

    I have a 3 O'clock IWB holster for my glock 20 from white hat holsters. I like it a lot. I'm 6'3 215lbs so it allows me to conceal the big G20

    I own 7 different holsters but no on makes me completly happy. I do not like IWB holsters because the inadequate grip on the Glock when drawing. From the OWB holsters i bought, one is a Fobus Padle GL-3. This is a very fine holster but twice when i drawed quick, i had the pistol WITH the holster in my hand. The different leather holsters are very comfortable, but there are two problems. First there is no good retantion in leather holsters and second it is very difficult to reholster the pistol with one hand in a leather holster. So what i really would like is a leatherwrapped kydex OWB holster with to closed loops. Still looking around and search for the perfect holster.

    Paradise valley leather makes good holsters and it’s a Montana company

    I'd like to carry in the 10-12 position but I'm legitimately scared of shooting my you know what off.

    We the people holsters, at least from the one I got was a disappointment. It scuffed my g20 and it was brand new. Got my glock around a month ago and as you can imagine I’m not happy at all. Ordered a new one from a different company and it’s not coming in soon enough so I can get rid of this trashy holster and test the new one out before I send my slide to get redone.

      Latin princess do you not understand that carrying a firearm as a daily in your holsters that they get scuffed up and look used… sorry you feel you need to fix scuff marks on a tool… maybe don’t use it and hang it on a wall in a frame

    • @latinprince896
      @latinprince896 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@africanjew1596 you do realize that gun holsters from the very moment you first insert your gun into them, don’t need to be putting aggressive scuff marks all up the slide of the gun right? I know what normal wear from going in and out of the holster look like and for first time insert it scuffed the 💩 out of my gun. So next time you want to act like a little know it all, make sure you know what actually happened you clown.

    I live in north Idaho outside of post falls. Right where alien gear has their home base! Great company! Wonderful people that do what they love! So cool seeing their stuff out there in the wild.

      Sounds like you can make it work. We are an open carry state in Michigan, always have been. But out current Gooberner, Whitmer, is working on changing that.

    On both my cat guns, I use these guys. Both mine are all leather, IWB. Has done retention like your holster you prefer. They are pricey, but I like them. They were recommended to me when I got my first carry. Sig SP2022. They aren't the most common outside of law enforcement, so I didn't have many options. The model holster I like had the same problem or to some benefit like you preferred, it does tilt around. I was also told by them, that as long as they have the blank, they can make whatever you need. They told me worst case, I send them the gun and they custom make one and send both back.

    After spending hundreds on holsters I've decided that only 2 clip holsters work right. Single clip move to much. With smaller single stacks 1 clip works well but if possible 2 clips is the way to go

    • @GunTradition
      @GunTradition  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The dual clip holsters do hold pretty good. You certainly don't want things jostling loose.

    I'm curious. Why did you choose the 10mm to carry?

    • @GunTradition
      @GunTradition  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I didn't really make a choice to get a 10mm at first. It just happened to be that I saw one for sale locally and I though I might as well buy a pistol. I would have probably bought any full-sized pistol at a good price. I got the Glock 20, and just stuck with it. Eventually I decided that I wanted to carry a gun that would handle pretty much any situation from hunting, to stopping an ornery farm pig, to a regular defensive situation.

      I have carried the G30 45acp for years and have several glocks, but recently got the G20 for hunting and I love the way it shoots. I may carrying it for a while until I can buy a G29.

    What are your thoughts on conceal carry at the 4/5 positions?

    • @GunTradition
      @GunTradition  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It works for a lot of people. I have carried there, but I prefer FOTP (front of the pants). It works well for me in the positions I frequent throughout the day, especially while driving.

    • @1sonjohn44
      @1sonjohn44 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GunTradition okay cause I'm considering a glock 20 and I like the 4/5 positions, but unsure how a full sized glock will work. Not sure how it will fit.

    • @GunTradition
      @GunTradition  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depending on your waistline and reach, it varies. Different bodies carry holsters differently. If it's inside the waistband, it may be akward if it's right over the flare of the hip. I'd recommend perhaps just Infront of or behind the flare of the hip bone. Ultimately, you may have to try different positions and angles if you want it to conceal well. Also, a loose shirt goes a long way towards concealment.
