I think we should tax people on how they invest their money if you put your money in safe places. S&p 500 mutual funds you get taxed more. If you put it in companies or stocks you get taxed less. Encourage risk. Not sure how to do it but would be a great system
The other thing they share in common and everyone seems to share in common is that they won't talk about a Ubi based off the total automated production percentage of the GDP to protect the consumer Market from inevitable collapse...
@liquidsnakex well in relative terms I'm talking about protecting the consumer Market from inevitable collapse due to automation lowering human value to near zero and eliminating all jobs in the economy which makes the consumer Market completely collapsed because the consumers have no money to spend to protect the corporations from going under so the entire system goes under all because we automate away all the jobs which is a good thing but if we don't prepare for this inevitability and start to create a Ubi based off the total automated production percentage of the GDP then we will not be ready for this problem and the entire consumer Market will collapse this is a inevitability due to the free market always getting the best bang for its Buck which was NAFTA in the 90s it's automation ai and robotics now and in the future... So in relative terms your reply is more spamming and garbage than my entire post... Your reply does nothing to advanced society does nothing to minimize the needless suffering of existence your reply is the spam here while my comment is the golden system to protect the people!
Don't think for a second that the 'media' reporting agendas rather than facts is a new thing. I went to events that were political 75 years ago and when I read the news about the event, I would have to go back and reread the headline to make sure the report was about the same event, because the things reported were so far from what I saw with my own eyes it didn't seem to be the same event.
You can trust Elon 100% because of how he saved SpaceX and Tesla at the end of 2008. He took the risk not to become rich or famous, but because of the mission of those companies, which he obviously considered to be very important.

If Elon just stopped being a Twitter poll, and let his actions speak louder, he’d be loved around the world. His Twitter posts show that in many ways he’s a man-child. I have no respect for that.
Not many, but there's small nuclear reactors on Mars right now (on the last two big rovers), so they'd definitely be bringing them when lives are on the line.

Hey Fazard and Hans, I'd think an interesting podcast would be with the guy from the 'Not Just Bikes' channel. He's recently released a video about self driving cars, which likely represents the fears of the majority when it comes to this type of tech. What's wrong with ESG? It sounded like a good thing for renewables. Have still some shares in an ETF that also has the esg label. It's based on this index "MSCI ACWI IMI New Energy ESG" but didn't perform well the last years
Interesting name Doge. The Doge was the name given to leader of the Venetian Republic, which lasted 1100 years. The American Republic is much younger. Republics are not Democracies. Elon is a data guy, Vivak is the people guy both together are greater than the parts. Elon hires very good people he trusts to share the dream and who are themselves extremely capable.
Elon is the single reason we have Tesla. There was a risk the Democrats would spend another 4 years trying to destroy him, like they did last time he voted Democrat.
The audience for "Farzad" must not have a life. They spend their time very much like the bored housewives who in decades past watched soap operas. They'll apparently watch anything.
I can't wait to see what Elon is able to achieve with DOGE. With his track record and government organisations being so bloated and inefficient the possibilities are huge!
“Can musk be trusted” . Can who Evers in office right now be trusted? At least with musk you see him daily talking live doing hours and hours of interviews podcasts . You get a general idea of who the dude is. If I was to trust anyone it would be Elon musk.
At this point with Trump, I really think it's fine that everything doesn't make sense and that there is some obliqueness to what we are seeing. Trump is a master negotiator and I seriously doubt that his selection was "not quite right" in this case. I have worked for several CEOs (to map to business) that did stuff I totally didn't get or agree with at the outset, but it turned out to be way better than I ever thought. I'm OK with it in general :-).
Lol, why? And why would he care if it did happen? The objective was to get rid of the party that was such an obstruction and was also destroying the country. Mission accomplished.
Elon gets a lot of attention b/c of his wealth and initiatives which I support and am happy about. As far as Soros, I'm hearing the old if ur not doing anything wrong what have u got to hide BS perspective. We ALL deserve our privacy, Musk chooses to be in the public eye. Soros works in financial markets where his words could cause a panic or bull rush. If Elon says he is going to put a rocket on Mars in 10 years, that doesn't affect anything significantly. When he talks about his stock however, he has gotten some push back from legal minds. Musk is as trustworthy as any high visibility individual. I hear ppl whine about his projection was off 1 or 2 years, but that is more naysayers kicking someone when they are down. To his crredit, he has gotten up, dusted himself off and proven his resolve. He is willing to say what he thinks b/c he thinks he is untouchable.
Sure. Elon really gets that actions have to be congruent with truth and facts. If not, they will fail. They may turn out badly anyhow, but the only chance for success is start with first principles and be transparent.
Can’t believe all the people here saying we can’t question a billionaire who spent hundreds of millions to get a candidate elected, including in ways that border on buying votes. I respect Elon’s accomplishments immensely, but this political Elon is new, and getting involved with Donald Trump as your partner is a risky proposition.
Musk was not buying votes, there was no voting requirement whatsoever, unlike the dems who directly bribe voters with the promise of stolen money from other people. Of course you can question him, the only reason he got into politics was to bring down the ev il cu lt that punishes people for questioning it.
No he can't. Why? Power corrupts. Absolute power..... Just look at the people who are in positions of almost absolute power. Humility is not a quality that is prized today.
If you think he's just been "allowed" to build his companies in peace, you haven't been paying much attention. He had to sue the gov to let SpaceX compete for launch contracts, with the FAA now artificially delaying all his launches. Tesla has been under constant legal/market attacks for years, including a judge blocking him from 10 years of his salary. Several countries currently want to jail him for allowing people to express opinions (a basic human right) on X/Twitter, despite zero crimes being committed. He's not being "allowed" to do anything, he's just good enough to succeed despite the constant attacks.
You’re sounding like conspiracy theorists. Remember if it’s a choice between a conspiracy and a stuff up, choose stuff up every time. Yes, the mainstream media get it wrong a lot, but remember the pressures and influences they are operating under - and that in a capitalist society their first priority is views/clicks, they are part of the entertainment industry.
I laughed at final comments. Musk also got his "town square" at Maddison Garden. Money out of journalism - that’s got legs. It’s like you need a new "Gutenberg printing press" style technology revolution.
He puts food on hundreds of thousands of employees' tables daily, paid about 50 billion to protect basic human rights, and paid over 8 billion in taxes just in 2022 alone... What have you done lately?
Nothing and no one can be “trusted” as it implies a universal understanding and knowledge from a perspective of all that which has come and gone… from the information being asked “trust with what exactly?” Instead we must have demonstrated a history of having a “great deal of confidence in” in the event that perspective, knowledge, and information do not align setting up those we seek to assume or accept “absolute trust “ The data suggests motive separation from intention, and programming untangled of each and every factor leading up to this “confidence” once that confidence is placed expect a better trajectory not perfect perceived outcome. Also do not judge those that are given confidence while they perform the role. They can be measured by means of action towards the mutually understood trajectory. Without the pressure of constant scrutiny by all those that have placed confidence in them. They must return to all other tasks at hand.
This issue with podcast is similar to the issue with mainstream media. If mainstream media told the truth and kept politicians accountable there would be no problem. Sure podcast can be an independent unbought voice and the mass amount of voices and relative ease of entry is a plus but that doesn't make them the complete solution. The paramount solution will always be the the propensity of the masses to be just, upright, and active rather that polluted, passive, and guilty. Podcasters can fall into the same trap as MM; be bought out like some TH-camrs, they can lie and cater to certain demographics and agendas, and they can be more easily silenced without or on an unfriendly platform.
You could be a good person doing good things, but also choose to respect or try to have privacy for you and your family. Elon chooses to engage in a public manner, which is less common, but of course which a lot of people respect. And he takes a lot of heat because even if he misspeaks, that makes the news - and sometimes even when he doesn’t he is misquoted or quoted out of context, misrepresented, etc.. But I understand one wanting to be private but still have an influence if they are able to on important things they see in the world (and some people are just less charismatic or more introverted- and not the best representatives for the cause they are trying to advocate for, and perhaps could even hurt the cause by being a poor spokesperson/bad public speaker). Especially in a world where money can “equal” free speech, I understand why supporting the people and causes that you think can do the most good in the world would be considered an important thing to do, if not a moral/ethical duty. One doesn’t have to be out there or try to be the star of the show (or have something in their ego that makes them need to be the hero all the time) or whatnot (unless perhaps they are on the spectrum and only see things as black and white, and feel that things must be said or or at least respond when asked about the things )… I don’t think I’ve ever really heard anything actually negative about George Soros (beyond people just not agreeing with a policy or a candidate he supports), but if no more than five comments want to reply with some relatively succinct thoughts or summaries, let me know, as I haven’t really ever heard anything… Perhaps it’s a bubble thing… I’ve heard negative allusions on Fox News, etc. (and maybe one theory that sounded unrealistic once, that I can’t even remember, but didn’t seem worth repeating at the time). One thing that might be of particular interest to me is any theories as to motivations if something is considered nefarious, or examples of questionable actions beyond supporting people who claim to try to help people (possibly at the expense of balanced budgets or in opposition to some religious fundamentalist beliefs?). I am fairly independent, but if it ever comes down to it, and we are able to afford to help ourselves with at least our necessities-and hopefully thrive-I would always come down on the side of helping the little person or person who has the least representation, if at all possible… Much more than five comments and it might be best to have a real time conversation, so certainly let me know if that might be helpful. Anyway, here’s to hoping in terms of Elon trying for the betterment of humanity, something that in the past he has claimed to stand for, and which he certainly has made actions that seem to match with that, over many decades…
I live in Virginia near wash DC. A person I know, retired spook, was hired back to go through documents and declassify them. I do not think they were alone at this task as I believe there are millions of documents. 2024: The U.S. federal government spent $6.75 trillion in fiscal year 2024, with a deficit of $1.83 trillion. 💵 For comparison: Total African GDP $3.1 trillion 💵 Total South American GDP $4.04 trillion 💵 When you dig into the numbers of the budget you see that the money borrowed to cover the deficit is almost the exact same amount the government spent on the military and everything else we normally think of as “the government”. Every other dollar spent by the government last year went to interest payments and entitlements. Unsustainable. 😮 Go Elon and Vivek!!!
It’s also pretty funny that we define a healthy country by its GDP. If you have a higher GDP you have a robust, growing country. Imagine you use this logic at home with your family. The whole thing is so opposite it makes your head spin.
@ GDP is just a measurement of economic strength. In the end it’s what each person does that determines their individual happiness. It just amazes me that the federal government spends nearly as much at the southern hemisphere produces.

We can only hope that he is all in on the DOGE. With him only being an advisory position I worry that others won't follow through with the recommendations
Stop spamming this gar bage
Yes, absolutely
You can trust Elon 100% because of how he saved SpaceX and Tesla at the end of 2008. He took the risk not to become rich or famous, but because of the mission of those companies, which he obviously considered to be very important.
Shame on you for questioning whether Elon can be trusted!
I appreciate the open conversation. Always something to gain from it.
Also, I appreciate the cussin'.
Quit the cinematic intro dude is cringe AF
Great analysis, thank you! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
If Elon just stopped being a Twitter poll, and let his actions speak louder, he’d be loved around the world. His Twitter posts show that in many ways he’s a man-child. I have no respect for that.
How many days could the colony survive on batteries without solar power? I would not go unless there was infinite (nuclear) power back up to solar.
Not many, but there's small nuclear reactors on Mars right now (on the last two big rovers), so they'd definitely be bringing them when lives are on the line.
Transparency is the willingness to accept what you believe could be wrong. The opposite of transparency is extreme sensitivity to criticism and stubbornness. I think people who don't like Trump are blind to his transparency or don't value transparency.
Hey Fazard and Hans, I'd think an interesting podcast would be with the guy from the 'Not Just Bikes' channel. He's recently released a video about self driving cars, which likely represents the fears of the majority when it comes to this type of tech. If he's not interested in talking live, then I think a response to his video would be interesting to watch 🙂
Not sure about anyone else, but I'm burned out on politics for now.
What's wrong with ESG? It sounded like a good thing for renewables. Have still some shares in an ETF that also has the esg label. It's based on this index "MSCI ACWI IMI New Energy ESG" but didn't perform well the last years
Nailed it Hans… good job 👍. Hopefully more and more people will see this…
Interesting name Doge.
Nice rainy morning chat. Dankie!!
Haha your ending 🫶🏿
Elon is simultaneously the greatest asset and risk to the Tesla investor.
Elon is the single reason we have Tesla. There was a risk the Democrats would spend another 4 years trying to destroy him, like they did last time he voted Democrat.
33:50 Let Elon go all in and hitch your wagon to his horse. $TSLA
Wish you could do short summaries of these shows. They are too long for me. I wonder if others would like a summary version.
We need the PTBM. Build it!
He is one of the few high profile people i really really trust.
He has been sent to the kids table already cos he was used to get Trump in and is now going to be dumped - watch
Lol the Republicans aren't stupid like the Democrats to bet against Elon.
Lol, why? And why would he care if it did happen? The objective was to get rid of the party that was such an obstruction and was also destroying the country. Mission accomplished.
Great conversation!👍
Great channel guys! You really have your finger on the pulse!
فرزد مزبهي؟ مزبحي؟
Thanks for the insight, foresight and wisdom. You guys are the best :)
We saw our first Cybertruck on the road here in Calgary, Canada. Pretty cool !!
Bill Ackman comes to mind as well, maybe versus Carl Icahn - seem like polar opposites...
No he can't. Why? Power corrupts. Absolute power.....
Just look at the people who are in positions of almost absolute power. Humility is not a quality that is prized today.
Trump is 'bluster' not exactly lies but a statement of intention with hyperbole.
100% agreement on the Rubio concern!!!
KEEP SPEAKING TRUTH TO POWER
*(CAPS= MY GLASSES 👓 LOST)*
He’s shifty. You’re being played. No one man can be allowed all of this sh# Unless He/She is “Selected”
If we use Th232 nobody will be able to breed pu239 weapons on Mars.
You're disrespecting the world's richest an iconic genius are you for real
I laughed at final comments.
Musk also got his "town square" at Maddison Garden.
Money out of journalism - that’s got legs.
It’s like you need a new "Gutenberg printing press" style technology revolution.
Please just be free and say what you REALLY feel!
Stop with the safe opinions. Speak your mind. I makes the most sense. Why not say it?
QUIT TRYING TO CAUSE DIVISION. I WOULD TRUST ELON OVER ANYONE
great video - a must watch
Forbes magazine called George Soros the “most generous giver”. How much giving has Elon done?
Immeasurable.
He puts food on hundreds of thousands of employees' tables daily, paid about 50 billion to protect basic human rights, and paid over 8 billion in taxes just in 2022 alone...
What have you done lately?
You see a lot of what Elon does but that does not mean he is not hiding the evil stuff.
Before criticising him for having an 'attitude', be sure to check your own at the door.
Nothing and no one can be “trusted” as it implies a universal understanding and knowledge from a perspective of all that which has come and gone…
from the information being asked “trust with what exactly?”
Instead we must have demonstrated a history of having a “great deal of confidence in”
in the event that perspective, knowledge, and information do not align setting up those we seek to assume or accept “absolute trust “
The data suggests motive separation from intention, and programming untangled of each and every factor leading up to this “confidence”
once that confidence is placed expect a better trajectory not perfect perceived outcome.
Joe Rogan doesn’t need anybody else’s money. And he just wrecked a candidate for simply saying what her demands were.
Interesting that things HAD to get bad enough to say ENOUGH!!
We need thorium 232 based breeder reactors for mars.
One doesn’t have to be out there or try to be the star of the show (or have something in their ego that makes them need to be the hero all the time) or whatnot (unless perhaps they are on the spectrum and only see things as black and white, and feel that things must be said or or at least respond when asked about the things )…
I don’t think I’ve ever really heard anything actually negative about George Soros (beyond people just not agreeing with a policy or a candidate he supports), but if no more than five comments want to reply with some relatively succinct thoughts or summaries, let me know, as I haven’t really ever heard anything… Perhaps it’s a bubble thing… I’ve heard negative allusions on Fox News, etc.
I am fairly independent, but if it ever comes down to it, and we are able to afford to help ourselves with at least our necessities-and hopefully thrive-I would always come down on the side of helping the little person or person who has the least representation, if at all possible…
Much more than five comments and it might be best to have a real time conversation, so certainly let me know if that might be helpful. Anyway, here’s to hoping in terms of Elon trying for the betterment of humanity, something that in the past he has claimed to stand for, and which he certainly has made actions that seem to match with that, over many decades…
Man could you think about not raving on so much? With respect, it’s difficult to take what you say when labouring.
So what abt rare earths? There’s a very large mkt there. Don’t you need rare earths to make robust batteries?
Respectful request, talk faster. I have to listen on 1.5 speed.
Technology solved your issue.
I live in Virginia near wash DC. A person I know, retired spook, was hired back to go through documents and declassify them. I do not think they were alone at this task as I believe there are millions of documents. Just saying that this job already exists and what we need is someone, like Trump, to accelerate some of these that people are really interested in. E,g, the epstein list or the diddy videos.
2024: The U.S. federal government spent $6.75 trillion in fiscal year 2024, with a deficit of $1.83 trillion. 💵
For comparison:
Total African GDP $3.1 trillion 💵
Total South American GDP $4.04 trillion 💵
When you dig into the numbers of the budget you see that the money borrowed to cover the deficit is almost the exact same amount the government spent on the military and everything else we normally think of as “the government”. Every other dollar spent by the government last year went to interest payments and entitlements.
Unsustainable. 😮
Go Elon and Vivek!!!
Haven't you guy's ever heard of the movie "Pirates of Silicon Valley".... You'll understand....
I invested in Tesla to support a company that was working on technology to improve our health and our environment.
I did not invest in Tesla to elect and support a regime that wants to harm our environment and our health.
I did not invest in Tesla expecting its CEO would get involved in politics, become an ego maniac and make the absurd statements that he can run the US government's budget.
Lucky for you, Tesla did not do anything contrary to your beliefs. And you have to be pretty naïve not to see how much damage the outgoing administration did in comparison to the one before it. The world just got a lot better last week.
This is too strong to suit me. But yes, I did not expect TSLA CEO to get involved in politics. I mean I used to run a grocery store.
I think Elon needs to look at green nuclear cuz there’s no way I would go to Mars without something to back up solar.
Does a colony need to die because solar power failed?? Prolly.
@@Goldsteinphoto Tesla had nothing to do with the election. So your second sentence is just pure nonsense. Your third sentence is hyperbole and not factual either. It seems like you’re having an emotional reaction to the fact that very few people support the nonsense that you do.
To say Trump lies less than anyone is WILD. Your transition to right wing political podcast has been too much. After enjoying a lot of your tesla content, i think i'm done
Lol, 1) the president is not experiencing cognitive decline
2) the laptop is fake
3) inflation is transitory
4) the border is secure
5) crime has gone down
6) 800k new jobs
7) I never took part in my son’s business dealings
I mean, c’mon. That’s just off the top of my head.
lmfao great ending!
This is the new lariat for the new proletariat.
