People are just jealous. The know they will never accomplish even 1% of what Elon has done. So they will cherry pick small things he has said to justify their hate.
I don't think he is underappreciated. I think the media wants to brainwash people into believing he is when in fact, that's not reality. It's their reality. Their ability to use media as a weapon of create reality is weakening as most people now either don't watch them or question everything they hear.
He's underappreciated cause his positions with civil issues. doesn't matter how great of an athlete you are, if off court you're considered a d***k because of your disregard of civil issues, yeah, people will discount you, not as haters, but as human beings. There's a difference. Yes, I admire his team a lot! Love tesla, but would i trust Elon say if he were to run for president? Fuck no. I was a huge Apple fanboy back in 91 throughout the 90s. Jobs was the man. So, i could see why people follow Elon like we did Jobs, but they both had different takes on civility. Jobs was more of a buddhist type, Elon is more of a societal disrupter and not in the sense of technical disruption which he does well.

You don’t have to like Trump to vote for him. It’s not a personality contest, this is about USA and policies that will help the Country and its citizens. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
He's easy to hate but hard to understand. Where it gets interesting is that the more you look into the man, and the more you peel the layers back, you see someone that wants to propel the human race forward. In terms of technology, lifestyle, and intellect. He only does what he thinks is best for humanity and is willing to change his mind if someone presents a better idea or better way to do things. Unlike most leaders he listens to others and therfore tries to surround himself with the brightest minds on this planet. You don't have to agree with him, you don't have to like him, but I have a lot of respect for someone that lives by what they believe in and leverage that to provide tangible results.
I’ve never used social media so I’m not personally impacted by “Twitter.” Some say he saved freedom of speech and others say he also bought a megaphone for himself. Time will tell but my condition is not greatly impacted by twitter. Our condition is and will continue to be impacted by environmental degradation. In all honesty, how much more plastic can our brains endure? Cause it’s accumulating it faster than the rest of our organs. Plastic brains sounds like a major problem that no one talks about. Maybe we are not just losing freedom of speech, maybe we are losing both freedom and the ability to speak.
As crazy as it may sound in this world we have a lot of people who are anti-human. And Elon is the opposite. He is the captain of the pro-human team. I hope he lives a long time and is successful In his endeavours because they will benefit humanity immensely! The world has a lot of brilliant people doing brilliant things. Elon is that but with a lot of power and his contributions are on a massive scale.
This doesn’t sound crazy. It is insightful. He’s had a ton of children too…he always says the population is about to dump. He sees a problem and moves in the direction of a solution.
Watching him stream Diablo 4 while teaching his son X on his lap before bedtime was very endearing. Just a normal dude thats the most not normal successful human in probably 100s of years. Respect. Haters be hatin but they cant touch him in any sphere.

I don't think most people understand how profound Elon's disdain for patents is. He doesn't believe in protectionism, he believes in out innovating the competition. Can you imagine if every company did that? It's why the level of execution in everything he does is so impressive. I think it's the most important thing about the way he runs his companies.
Elon’s technology takes million of $$$ and thousand of people and millions in overhead, which is why nobody is going to copy it. If you are the inventor of a breakthrough gadget, that very NEW, USEFUL AND NOT OBVIOUS and people really want/need it. YOU NEED A PATENT. That is not Elon’s domain!
great observation! yeah that part of elon is absolutely underrated. with that he secures not only that things go well during his lifetime, but also in case of his death. he gave his intellectual property to the people with that. that is one of the greatest gifts for humanity, if you are smart enough to actually build something useful edit: I gotta say the more i think about it, the more I see someone who potentially COULD be on either side. you never know. but this one thing about making it opensource...thats what gave me the trust in him in the end
People are going to look back in history and look at Elon as the most influential and important person of the 21st century. Just like some of the other greats of the 20th century. Thomas Edison, Benjamin Franklin, Nikolai Tesla, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Etc...
But so much bigger than all. Partly as product of the times, communication is light speed now. Those men were isolated individuals, trapped inside own skull. But Musk has the wealth to employ people to flesh out his crazy ideas. What’ll happen when he can harness artificial super intelligence & fleet of robots? Doing it all using Neurolink, using laser connected Starlink.
Absolutely! Just reuseable rockets (Mars), and 😮 his humanitarian work, for example, educating the world on his how important procreation is. Also, I think his robot, Optimus, is incredible. Elon is extraordinary ❤

I’ll tell you how he does it. He surrounds himself with talented engineers. That is the key. Talented engineers and project managers. Elon is very talented and so is his team.
He himself is also a talented engineer, has been the Chief Engineer is SpaceX since starting it, and this is corroborated by many other world renowned engineers.
He attracts the top talent. He can pay for it. He sifts out the riders that don't produce. Who would not want to work in this environment of success? Men with vision are leaders.

Next he'll have to start a company that builds phones and computers and does telecom to prevent the three letter guys from getting around encryption and watching over our shoulders.
Starlink is a massively underrated play, too. Those who would censor us will attack at all levels: social media companies (so he buys x), payment processors (he's long wanted to have his own bank, that's what PayPal started out as), servers (x has plenty of its own), internet connectivity... so he puts his own internet in space, for global access, outside the jurisdiction of any nation, can't be taken down like standard fiber optic lines. Data isn't being copied and stored by the NSA. Elon is for freedom. He's helping us build a parallel society. He's the bulwark against fascism and totalitarianism.
27 and agree. He does everything, space exploration/satellites, social media, ev/vehicles, flamethrowers, practically a comedian, he’s hardly even started, he put many other business ideas to the side to pursue Tesla. And he’s had to deal with more regulations then all those before him so give him credit for that too. They’re are definitely no candidates YOUNGER than him.
There are other people who’s mind is a like a storm, the big difference is Elon able to surf the waves in that storm while most just get thrown back and forth by the waves in that mental storm.
I don't understand why people get lost on what to call a tweet on X. It's so obvious... it's called a post. "I saw this post on X..." Was that so hard, folks?
Can you name another billionaire who works as hard in business and also is a public figure? He literally does interviews all the time and is compassionate as well.
As a mom of a grown Autistic man, I am in awe of Elon Musk. He “outted” himself on SNL years ago. He has Asperger’s (which is on the the Autism spectrum). Many people with Asperger’s are geniuses. I had a friend who had a son and when he grew up, MIT, Harvard, etc were after him ( full rides). President Trump would do well if he made Elon head of the Space Program, unless it meant a conflict of interest! I love Elon!
What BS is that. Elon is no nobel peace guy, nor a civil advocate for society rights. I mean, he's a Trump supporter and we all know Trump give two shits about civilization. The interview went from advanced mathematics to ancient history to finance and economics, to manufacturing plants organization to climate change to world politics to philosophical currents . The man had an intelligent answer to everything. And people believe that he is only a businessman.
It's a gift to live at this time in history and witness the work of this extraordinary person who is changing the course of civilization for the betterment of mankind.
When I first witnessed space x reusable rockets returning to earth and landing I realized that his ideas and ability to bring them forward are incredible. Boosting his car into space just to do it was pretty fun to watch.
I am 42 and have had some crazy ideas but where I live its about 20 years behind the rest of America. Funding and reach has always been my biggest drawback. I lost 90% of the people I speak to and my wife being the only one that loves them rolls back to every day financial issues. My mind is always chaos and we are rare and I am happy to see at the least one person with that mindset moving forward making things better for everyone.

I’ve never used social media so I’m not personally impacted by “Twitter.” Some say he saved freedom of speech and others say he also bought a megaphone for himself.
