I bought it when there were no normal reviews yet. For the price this is the best keyboard. It has everything, it doesn't need to be improved. The typing experience is very pleasant. It's like you're clicking on clouds. It also has an 8000 mAh battery, which is a lot. I've been using the keyboard for 2 weeks now, sometimes with backlight and sometimes without and only 12% of the charge is gone.
After a brief but intense deep dive into mechanical keyboards, I chose this one off Amazon for only $63 (US, June '24) and one-day delivery. I just got the keyboard delivered today and am already loving the sounds and feeling of the keys. The only learning curve is to adapt to the taller height of the keys and different mod key locations after using a low-profile Logitech for the last few years. Bottom line: if you're looking for an inexpensive customizable keyboard with creamy AND thocky sound, this keyboard can't be beat!
it will not disappoint!! It was my first mech keyboard too, got it in March, it's very very cool and im comparison to my previous membrane Razer its like ground and sky, hope you'll like it too
I just got this on Amazon last night, it was sitting on my porch waiting for me when I got home from my hockey game around midnight. I hooked it up and it is so nice. It comes in 3 other colors too. I got the same white as in the video.
I snagged this keyboard for $70 on Amazon, and it was further reduced to $55 for the white, blue, and lavender keyboard. This keyboard is amazing. I often use my keyboard at night and I do kind of miss the shine through keys but the light is bright enough to see the keys anyways. It feels great. It has BT and the USB dongle. It has an 8000MA battery. It's easily one of the best full sized keyboards around the 70 dollar mark.
The only real difference I've been able to see is the regular aula f99 is about 10% heavier, and might restrict the types of switches you're trying to get. But they're both hot-swappable so realistically... color.
Aula keyboards I woulds say is second the best budget Hot-swap Keyboards in the market behind Red dragon, or It could be first tho. I did recommend this to my friend.
Hi! Is there a manual how to change colors? Sorry I didn’t catch up what you just clicked rn. The RGB brightness is also compatible with Mac? Thanks for answering
I'm interested in getting this but noticed on Amazon there's two listings both with the same price and color options but one says epomaker x aula in the title and the other is just aula. Anyone know what the deal with that is?
Hi I just recently got this keyboard too and its amazing! I just can't seem to use it wire but all other modes works perfectly fine. Is there a need to press anything to activate wired mode aside form the buttons at the top?
just got this one in white and gray. amazing so far. the sounds out of the box is pretty superb (perspective of someone that hasnt been using mech keyboard for a long while). RGB is pretty nice. Havent been able to connect to android phone yet. Not sure if able too though
Any restrictions on getting new keycaps? Your video helped me in purchasing this keyboard, and I'm wondering if there are any suggestions for or against any specific keycaps. Was thinking about getting an epomaker set but theyre a little expensive...
As im typing this on the aula f99, thank u for helping me work the lights and other stuff, the company accidentally gave me a instruction card in chinese. hehehe
could you tell me what switch option you choose for this? it comes in a few options nad i want the thocky sound it gives, but unsure which one to choose for that sound.
Can you not turn off the damn light bar?? Sorry havent watched the whole video, just very annoyed I cant turn off the bar or changes its coloring as it really stands out being RGB or Green when I want to do Red or black and white.
NEVERMIND I GOT IT, like literally 5 seconds later. The instruction MANUAL is wrong on how to do it, but the little black slip (like shown in the video) says Shift + fn and it works! Thank god, dont have to take the thing back.
Thanks for the review, this is the keyboard I went for. Irok fe98 pro wireless rgb, epomaker Th96 and Royalaxe Y98 Wireless RGB are the other ones I also considered but Aula won, because it had basically everything one needs, good sound and 8000mah. Only thing I would consider to adding on this keyboard is having a light for num lock and cap. light, plus having a black board option.
@@TechGuyBeau This is a chinese brand. it is selling around $40 -50 CAD for the lowest setting, same with the one you buy in amazon. How can i check the battery status?
edit: nvm Fn+B
Does it have shine-through keycaps (i.e. can you see the letters in the dark?)

I just got one of these in grey and white, so excited! It'll be my first mech keyboard 😊 I even ordered some cute keycaps to go with it

They're the same. Aula and Epomaker are under the same company.
what switch is this?
Got mine for $34 after applying vouchers, one of the best bang for the buck purchase I've made.
Thanks for the review tech guy! I’m new to keyboards and all that stuff and don’t know much about it, but u explain fastly and simply.
that keyboard looks pretty solid

I have a metal keycap review coming soon and I did one recently on a more budget option. Check that video out :)
how did you make the backlight white? Mine is only colored and I can't figure it out :(
What kind of switches are these? Are they the reapers, the Nimbus or the graywood?
This looks like the Mchose K99 and sounds similar, but the mchose is better because it has a weight on the back and sounds a bit more poppy/creamy.
Dang I’ve been looking for new keyboard this seems great
Might have to buy for myself as a birthday present

For next version a black keyboard, with and a cap and num lock indicator and knob
