Hey! I want to get this keyboard, but my only issue is quality. Is the quality good? I was going to get the Hi75 but I don’t really like the way it looks. I’m not a big fan of flex (I’ll be gaming on it) is there a lot of flex on the plates?
Maybe I just got unlucky on the switches. I bought this keyboard about half a year ago and have been using it daily, but recently both the H key and the Enter key started to malfunction: sometimes a hit is not registered, sometimes a hit is double registered. I changed the switches to the spare ones that came with the box and they went back to normal. But they only give you two spare switches...
Oh, damn.. Unfortunately, there's always a certain amount of defect ratio in every product. Usually, it's only a 1-2% (which is cca. 1-2 keys per 100 key), so I hope no more will die on you!
Hello, you are the only youtuber that has tried both the ajazz ak820 pro and the aula f75, out of both which one would you prefer more, or would recommend. There is a slight price difference between both of them, with the ak820 pro being slightly more expensive, but which one would you recommend?
That's a hard question! The AK820Pro has an unbeatable price. I personally prefer Cherry-profile keycaps over OEM profile, and for a full-sounding sound profile the F75 doesn't need any mods. But the aesthetic preferences are an important thing to consider as well. So it's totally OK to go with the design you prefer. Any of these two keyboards is a very good choice.

I did get an F75. Upon further research, it seems like Aula is pretty much future proof and doesn't require much modding. The build quality is nice and the feedback is great. Unlike the Ajazz, the materials used didn't get cheaped out. Although if you're really into the mini-screen, you can consider getting the Ajazz. It has a bit less latency which can be benificial if you're into professional gaming experience. But the latency difference between the two isn't really that much in real world perspective so no worries abt it. So my final verdict was this: Ajazz AK820 Pro: • Mini-Screen • Aesthetic Build • Easily Modded than F75 • Lowest Latency Aula F75: • Build Quality • Great sound out of the box • Knob is easily used since it doesn't control the screen but the volume itself • Better Colorway for Custom Keycaps • Weighs a bit more • Has a well known company and I also got a good warranty If your preference ticks more into one of these you can go ahead decide. This is actually my second Mech Keeb and Im kindda new into this thing. But I can say that this keyboard will pretty much last for me.
Very nice budget keyboard, I got one for 30usd last week. Can you recommend any switch with deeper and thockier sound than leobog reaper? Should I try MZ Y3?
Wow, $30usd is a GREAT deal, congrats! :) I don't know your budget for the switches, but if you want deep thock I'd go with Vertex V1, BSUN Jade Rosales, Duhuk Lumia Matcha V4 or if muted thock, then the Akko Rosewoods. (Check out the spring weights though, as they differ :)) MZ Y3 is not bad at all, but it's more like clacky than thocky to me (or let's say somewhere in-between)
Yeah, I didn't consider the first one as a drawback, because with the stock switches+keycaps the North-facing leds do not cause any interference (also many other, newer switches also pay attention to this detail). :)
hello, i've been contemplating between Aula F75, Ajazz Ak820 pro and royal kludge H81. they are around the same price in my country. which should i pick? this keyboard is very good though ngl sounds so good too.
I haven't tried the RK H81 yet, but I personally prefer Cherry-profile keycaps of the F75 over the OEM profile (ak820 pro), and for a full sounding sound profile the F75 doesn't need any mods. But the aesthetic preferences are an important thing to consider as well. So it's totally OK to go with the design you prefer. All of them are a very good choice for this price.
If you can spend the extra money, definitely go for the Hi75. It's much easier to mod, and alu cases are more sturdier. (Also I really love the deep, thocky sound of the Hi75. :))
Hm, both are very good, but the AK820 Pro needs some modding, while the F75 is great out-of-the-box. Otherwise it's safe to choose one based on the looks/design preferences. :)
I prefer Cherry keycaps over ASA and the price is bit more friendlier for the Aula F75, so I'd go with that, but both keyboards are very good, so choose the one where you prefer the design more.

Yes, the Spaceberry is just the keycap set/design. I always tend to go with aluminium keyboards (like the Hi75), as they are easier to mod. I mean if I have the extra money to cover the difference.
Not really, the main difference is that the Graywood has a lower actuation point at 1.3mm and it feels a bit heavier to press and a bit deeper sound. But not a huge difference

I also chose the Gift switches, which have the heavier spring. I think that affects the sound and feel quite a bit. Mine is a clacky dream and I actually might not change anything, other than some minor modding. I am definitely tempted by the F75, but the north-facing LEDs is kind of a deal breaker for me. I like the ability to change switches/keycaps. I do understnad that you're judging these as a pre-built and your points make perfect sense. I really enjoy your videos and especially the included latency tests!
planning to get one later this year
Hey! I want to get this keyboard, but my only issue is quality. Is the quality good? I was going to get the Hi75 but I don’t really like the way it looks. I’m not a big fan of flex (I’ll be gaming on it) is there a lot of flex on the plates?
Mine arriving in a few days and I got it in light blue, reaper switches!
Reaper switches are best ones in my opinion
Best budget keeb no need to mod :)
Thank you latency test!
Have you tried the Womier SK75? Another amazing value keyboard with an aluminium chassis and VIA support
Newly released alu keyboards are getting insanely good value!
What is that mini computer on the top right corner with the TH-cam screen? Looks so cool.
It's a Divoom Pixel Art speaker - it's sooo cute! ^^
Thanks a lot! One question though, would you prefer this F75 or the Ajazz AK820 pro?

I'm trying to make the exact same decision...which did you go for?
I did get an F75. Upon further research, it seems like Aula is pretty much future proof and doesn't require much modding. The build quality is nice and the feedback is great. Unlike the Ajazz, the materials used didn't get cheaped out. Although if you're really into the mini-screen, you can consider getting the Ajazz. It has a bit less latency which can be benificial if you're into professional gaming experience. But the latency difference between the two isn't really that much in real world perspective so no worries abt it.
So my final verdict was this:
Ajazz AK820 Pro:
• Mini-Screen
• Aesthetic Build
• Easily Modded than F75
• Lowest Latency
Aula F75:
• Build Quality
• Great sound out of the box
• Knob is easily used since it doesn't control the screen but the volume itself
• Better Colorway for Custom Keycaps
• Weighs a bit more
• Has a well known company and I also got a good warranty
If your preference ticks more into one of these you can go ahead decide. This is actually my second Mech Keeb and Im kindda new into this thing. But I can say that this keyboard will pretty much last for me.
it only 35$ in my country, best thing i ever buy
Oh, you're so lucky! Def the best buy for that price!
Very nice budget keyboard, I got one for 30usd last week.
Can you recommend any switch with deeper and thockier sound than leobog reaper? Should I try MZ Y3?
how in the world did u get it for 30 usd
@@hanool777 I live in SEA, the price is around 27~35 usd for a new one
Wow, $30usd is a GREAT deal, congrats! :) I don't know your budget for the switches, but if you want deep thock I'd go with Vertex V1, BSUN Jade Rosales, Duhuk Lumia Matcha V4 or if muted thock, then the Akko Rosewoods. (Check out the spring weights though, as they differ :))
MZ Y3 is not bad at all, but it's more like clacky than thocky to me (or let's say somewhere in-between)
Thank you!
There is two drawback it has north facing rgb and t not comparable with Mac, but It does have much better gasket.
Yeah, I didn't consider the first one as a drawback, because with the stock switches+keycaps the North-facing leds do not cause any interference (also many other, newer switches also pay attention to this detail). :)
Is that website you linked in the description safe to order from? Did u get it from there? Also are you from the UK as I am trying to order from here
Yes, they are absolutely safe to order from, I got it from them and they ship worldwide (I'm not from the UK, but from the EU, so similar in a way!)
@@thoccnology Okay, thanks for replying :)
Hi, any good alternative feedbacks with a black colour way? Don't mind spending a bit more. Can't find one which matches this.
If you really can spend a bit more, check out the ND75, Womier SK75, Leobog Hi8, they all have black color variants.
hello, i've been contemplating between Aula F75, Ajazz Ak820 pro and royal kludge H81. they are around the same price in my country. which should i pick? this keyboard is very good though ngl sounds so good too.
@@thoccnology Thank you miss. I've already decided to buy F75. have a nice day~
Hi, i find it tough to decide this and the hi75, which one would u prefer?
If you can spend the extra money, definitely go for the Hi75. It's much easier to mod, and alu cases are more sturdier.
(Also I really love the deep, thocky sound of the Hi75. :))
@@thoccnologythank you, just ordered it haha im excited
Hey since you have tried both AULA F75 or Ajazz AK 820 Pro which is your preference?
Hm, both are very good, but the AK820 Pro needs some modding, while the F75 is great out-of-the-box. Otherwise it's safe to choose one based on the looks/design preferences. :)
Hello akko 5075b w yellow switches or this one. I cant decide help would be Apraeciated
id go for aula
I prefer Cherry keycaps over ASA and the price is bit more friendlier for the Aula F75, so I'd go with that, but both keyboards are very good, so choose the one where you prefer the design more.

What switches do you think are the best, because I really like the leobog ice vein switches.
My personal favorite is the Vertex V1, but I tend to like deeper sounding, thocky switches. For clacky sounds I always choose HMX switches.
@@thoccnology im sorry I think you’ve got it mixed up, I meant from the stock switches of the aula f75 😂
But thank you anyway, I will keep that noted!
@@RoySteinberg-l7m Ah, I see, haha! From the Aula F75 switches I'd say the Reapers - for the same reason, they're more thocky sounding, but the difference is so minimal between the 3 options
If you just received your package then we probably ordered it around the same time. I got the green because it was my favorite color, but did you get it because it was the only one in stock?
Oh, you got green too? I love green, especially this pastel one is beautiful and gives me chill vibes, so I definitely wanted to go for this. ^^
Thanks for the great review! I've just ordered one. The space bar sounds hollow and high pitched. Any idea how to make it sound deeper?
Maybe the easiest option is to try replacing the spacebar switch, experimenting with some other switch options
Or fill the space bar with tape
Great quality video. I’ve got a question tho, I’m undecided about whether to buy the Ajazz AK820pro or the aula f75 plz help🥺🥺

@@thoccnology Thankss🙏🏼
Love ur vid XD btw GMK81 and AULA F75 which is better 😅
Thank you! ^^ Hmm, I love screens on keyboards, but I even more prefer knobs, so it's the F75 for me.
Also it comes with pretty good keycaps+switches, so if budget is any concern to you, you can save some bucks with that.
is the keyboard nice with the ice vein switches aswell?
ice vein = deeper thocks/slower tone
crescent = clackiest sound
reaper = mid between those 2 switches

Also the F75 has Cherry-profile keycaps in pretty colors, while the AK820 Pro has OEM profile, also it has a mini TFT screen and has a bit better latency.
All in all, I'd say it's OK to choose whichever design you feel closer to your heart.
in terms of pure sound, would you say this keyboard or the leobog hi8 with gateron smootheis and sa keycaps would sound better?
Oh, for me it's definitely the Hi8, I love thock.
aula f75 or the ajazz ak820 pro?
For me i go with the Aula F75, It sound and looks better thus a better quality but the only issue that it doesn’t come with a TFT Screen. (Take what you like more)

Yes, in general, anything around or under 10ms can safely be used for competitive gaming too. (Unless you want to be in the TOP players, then I'd say aim for a keyboard with sub-5ms latency)
Yes, it has NKRO!

Wow, it's getting that cheap? It makes it a really good deal!
There’s a draw back… it’s north facing leds😭
Actually, North-facing LEDs are not as big of a problem as some people like making drama about it.
It only happens with a small amount of switches and very thick keycaps - and only when they are combined.
There are many switches that manage to avoid the interference IRL.
@@thoccnologywell everything in the keyboard hobby is preference and yes you are right about some switches and keycaps can avoid the interference but maybe those keycaps and switches that interfere with north facing someone might like but the keyboard they bought is north facing. but there are some upsides to north facing like shine through keycaps.
