There is no reconciliation coming. Prince William is simply trying to keep one step ahead of what his brother and sister in law might be plotting. The Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William spent quite a bit of time at Balmoral, and I think we have to wait until the funeral is over to see the results of those meetings for the Harkels. There are several more days for them to navigate, and I hope that Prince William will be able to neutralize as much of it as possible.

She was collecting bouquets and honestly believing people had paid good $$ and come out JUST to present them to her - even though this was not planned and no one even knew about it. But THAT is how deluded she is. If she can equate herself to Nelson Mandela, she can believe SHE deserves all the bouquets "just by existing" (to coin a phrase!) She will phone a publisher and scream at them that she objects AS A MOM, or whatever excuse she can find that will "tug at the heartstrings". The mainstream media are just as terrified of her as the RF is, and are STILL tiptoeing around, especially now when it would be entirely appropriate to FINALLY tell the truth about all those hidden "issues"/secrets, which, if the press continues to shrink back from her in terror, will never come to light. And if they don't, those two children may well have titles when they do not deserve them whatsoever.

It was a marked indication of where Charles and William rank the former royals-doing whatever it is they do ‘overseas’. It is kind of amazing to watch such thinly disguised manipulations of the Sussexes not having their desired reactions Indeed, no reaction at all. I think the Sussexes thought they were so personally important to the royal family that when they announced they were withdrawing from active royal duty, the ruler and heirs collectively said, “Oh, ok, fine. And by the way, your military honors and titles are history. Oh, did we mention you may not use ‘HRH’ anymore? Yeah, have fun sulking in the USA!” It has played out like two very petulant, entitled, myopic toddlers against a rooted, solid, unyielding united force. Neither of the symbiotic Sussexes have forethought or insight as to the long term effects of their actions. Sadly, I think that even if Harry is feeling remorseful and having second thoughts about the book he didn't think before and locked himself in. I also think MM will undo whatever good might happen these 10 days when she gets Harry alone again. The good thing is if she tries to exploit this in the future it will only further undermine her already eroding position. After he passed the light just kinda went out of her eyes. She just looked inherently sad and I felt so bad for her as I lost the love of my life as well and knew the feeling all to well. Her health just went downhill after his passing and I honestly think she grieved herself to death. But they are together now and that makes me smile.

Agree with Richard Eden, but in William's defence, the inclusion could have been the result of a bargain struck "at the 11th hour" - there had been numerous accounts that H&M along with their PR were planning to do their own walk about and filming it - this way the PR / Netflix group would get the footage from the media and H&M can do their walk about with the royals. I also feel that Charles is not letting the grass grow under his feet too long so that he can expedite his slimming down of the monarchy plans that could include Archie and Lilibet not being given prince and princess titles, and if rumours are true, any future children of H&M

William didn't want to turn this moment into a "spectacle." (Using Me-again's expression.) So, 1 hour prior, William asked Harry and M to join them. This is NO OLIVE BRANCH, NO RECONCILIATION. What repeatedly astonishes me is the fact that the "Tell all book" will reflect Harry's PERCEPTIONS/Recollections of events, and not necessarily what really happened , this fact is never mentioned in all the discussions about it. As the Queen so finely said " While recollections may vary....." So, why all the hyperventilation and stocking up the fears about it? Just let it happen, and trust the people of Britain and elsewhere to be savy enough to make their own judgement and form their own opinion.....

I think the Sussexes thought they were so personally important to the royal family that when they announced they were withdrawing from active royal duty, the ruler and heirs collectively said, “Oh, ok, fine. Yeah, have fun sulking in the USA!” It has played out like two very petulant, entitled, myopic toddlers against a rooted, solid, unyielding united force. Sorry about the newspaper headlines however if stories are correct, it would have been a load worse if the Markles had gone out on their own, which apparently was their plan. I think that is where we may have seen booing and abuse and I think having the Wales there kept it seemly.
I think the Harkles needed to hear the boos that would have started from one end to the other. That would have wiped the smug smile from Rachel’s face. I would have paid to see that happen. She was one of the first females to show me female empowerment. Her and Joan Jett, lol. She's inspired me my whole life. Heart breaking loss.
@@dawnywarthog6642 it was a tremendous loss. I was absolutely gutted when I heard the news. I don't think she ever recovered from losing the love of her life. After he passed the light just kinda went out of her eyes. She just looked inherently sad and I felt so bad for her as I lost the love of my life as well and knew the feeling all to well. Her health just went downhill after his passing and I honestly think she grieved herself to death. But they are together now and that makes me smile.

To the very end she extended the olive branch, invited them to Balmoral, and they refused. Even though, as with Phillip, they knew she was getting close to the end of her life.

Agree with Richard Eden, but in William's defence, the inclusion could have been the result of a bargain struck "at the 11th hour" - there had been numerous accounts that H&M along with their PR were planning to do their own walk about and filming it - this way the PR / Netflix group would get the footage from the media and H&M can do their walk about with the royals. I also feel that Charles is not letting the grass grow under his feet too long so that he can expedite his slimming down of the monarchy plans that could include Archie and Lilibet not being given prince and princess titles, and if rumours are true, any future children of H&M

Actually, it had been reported that the only reason William invited Harry and Megan is because he found out within few hours of the walkabout, that Harry and Megan had invited a crew to film them doing the walkabout by themselves. William didn't want to turn this moment into a "spectacle." (Using Me-again's expression.) So, 1 hour prior, William asked Harry and M to join them. This is NO OLIVE BRANCH, NO RECONCILIATION. This is William keeping it respectful.
