Most of Harry's unhappiness stemmed from wanting to find a wife and family like his brother. When he found Meghan he thought she was into charity work etc. During their engagement interview he said what a great addition to the team she would be. He envisioned staying in this country with his family and he and Meghan being two successful royals doing wonderful works charitable works.
Unfortunately that didn't happen because Meghan was whispering in his ear at every opportunity saying how unhappy she was to the point of suicide. You could see his demeanour changed after the marriage. Gone was the smiling happy prince, replaced by a constant angry and sullen young man. Please don't say she did him a favour taking him to America. The place he really loved and where he dreamed of living was Africa. Read his book
She dragged her trophy back to Hollywood, believing he would be her ticket to the A List fame she has always carved, but no amount of Royal Magic can overcome that toxic woman's lack of talent and malignantly selfish behavior. She is a liar and has dragged him into her delusional fantasy of power. She lies.

My condolences. I think we need to look at the nuances of royal life though. Yes, they didn’t have to worry about a roof over their heads or food on their table after the death of a parent but the strict ‘rules’ they must follow, the press constantly hounding them as well as the questions that lingered after Diana’s death makes their lives hard. Yes a different hard than mine and yours but still, difficult.

For one thing, the palace spread the story that they just left. They actually tried to fulfill their royal roles as ambassadors, but wanted to escape GB because of the tabloids. It was the palace that embraced the all or nothing position: take our terms or leave. So they left. A huge shame for the Commonwealth.

Painting Meg's dad briefly and slanted in a very negative way, was wrong. He provided for her and raised her solo for years.
Ask anyone at the schools she went to- Doria was there twice. Her father did the lighting for all the plays. His honor of long after he refused to back out even though Meghan told him to when she didn’t get her way. Her acting teacher wanted her to stay and rehearse I guess the weekend before the show and she wanted to go on some camp out but the teacher gave her an ultimatum. If she went on the camp out, she would have a much smaller part and if she stayed to rehearse, she had the lead part still.
She went on the camp out and then with her father would not quit the lighting for that. Played she stay away from his house for two weeks. I think she was 16 or 17 then when she was 12, she was already rolling her eyes at him in his home videos.
He got her her first small part on General Hospital. He introduced her to Trevor, who got her onto suits. He paid for her SAG card. He paid for her private school all through from kindergarten or nursery up through the 12th. He paid for northwestern. He has his brother to get her an internship at the embassy, I think in Argentina.
Not to mention, she’s the one that sent the photographer to her father. To “help him improve his image.” (Hed put on a few pounds and had been photographed in sweatshirts bringing a six pack of beer to his guard shack.) He had not even been invited to the wedding, whereas Doria received a scroll in person. MM just kept telling him to be patient. And she’s worked with him again since. Thomas has not.
And he’s not rich enough for her new crowd? Maybe because even when she was on Suits, he was paying off her college tuition still. After Samantha said something to her on the phone about maybe helping their father out like paying him back a little bit, She sent him $20,000 once. When he gave her her first wedding, even though she had a fancy-schmancy thing in Jamaica I believe it was, but somewhere abroad… as a thank you gift they gave him an IOU ticket to wherever he wanted to go. Not any real tickets like he was gonna say I’ll go here and let them pay for it. Plus, he would not want to go on vacation alone. Whenever he took Meghan away somewhere nice on vacation. He almost always invited Doria. And she almost always went.
She even said on the Tig within a year or two before she supposedly first met Harry, that every girl should have a dad like hers. They had special things they did every week after her ballet classes all involving buying her things.
The only thing that Man did wrong (and I apologize for thinking he was faking the heart attacks at the time) was not tell the girl the word “no” enough. He was happy to be doing better financially then when he had his first two kids and when they were younger. He just went way overboard spoiling her. She literally thought she was going to be bigger than the queen.

Everyone who acts like its so weird for an older sibling to ignore a younger one at school probably has never had siblings. Honestly i love my sister but i didnt want to spend time with her at school, i wanted to hang out with my friends
I hated my one year older brother when we were about 12 onwards. Only after we both married and had children did we like each other. And like most siblings as our children became older and ae moved to different cities,we slowly drifted apart somewhat. I think that's quite normal.
William and Harry were normal brothers until Meghan Markle separated them and started to make everybody's life very difficult. Had Harry waited to know her better, the Queen and Prince Philip would have lived longer and King Charles and Princess Catherine would have not been so stressed out by Markle that were diagnosed to have cancer.

My older brother never even looked at me. I never spoke to him at school because he was very busy pretending I didn't exist. I think that's normal. And we only have Harry's word for it which is worth nothing.
Same type of situation between me and my older sister… didn’t acknowledge me on the bus or in front of her friends. That changed in h.s. when we started borrowing each other’s clothes. lol

They are NOT broken, they just need to grow up and realize life is short and family is more important than money. Families have their personal problems but they can be worked out. Charles should enjoy Harry’s two children as he ages. They should also be close to William’s children. They need to say I’m sorry, we love each other and stick together no matter what. Diana would so want her boys to stick by each other. I know, I had two sons that had a falling out and didn’t speak for four years. The oldest passed away from a sudden heart attack last year. Now his brother is suffering from the loss and is filled with regret. The media needs to leave these brothers alone and let them work it all out. ❤❤😊❤

And you can have all sorts of personal disagreements and grievances (most families do), but to broadcast them to the world, especially when you know the other party will not defend themselves, that will take years to forgive, if ever. Not only that, but by behaving in this way Harry has said to world, look I'm basically lacking in intelligence and common sense - that stigma will never go away, even if there is an eventual rapprochement. He doesn't like being the spare, but he has proven he doesn't have what it takes for the top job, not in that firm anyway.

It’s so sad to see Princess Diana’s beloved sons to become like this, she would have been heartbroken. Meghan is manipulative, a bad news to the royal family, and Harry is immature to continue letting the past engulf him, even after loosing his grandparents and his father is battling cancer. If Meghan truly loves Harry she would have seen that Harry’s bond is with his own family in UK as it’s his roots, without it he could never be truly happy. Since it’s their wish to be financially independent we can expect there will be more controversies like Oprah interview/CNN etc from Harry and Meghan to keep media happy in order to sustain their luxury lifestyle and the rifts will become bigger and irreversible. Ironically Harry hates media and yet he’s now depending on them to have financial gains like selling his book. Praying for Kate to be completely free from cancer for William needs her to be on his side to shoulder the heavy weight of royal duties.

What is troubling is that they have hundreds of years of history documenting how despots, murderers kings/future monarchs have gone out of their way to finish off any “perceived” competition. Prince William’s lack of awareness/ability to manage/deal constructively with a brother (his only sibling!) shows a terrible character flaw/moral perversion…he is supposed to rule that darn salty island! I do support Prince Harry and his family but, objectively, his brother’s limitations and lack of introspection is troubling. The “heir’s” conduct is deeply disturbing. Can’t take the high road…GPS and/or a map can’t teach him how to behave like a generous, wise, loving king. I’m starting to doubt his staying power as such…he doesn’t seem king quality to many. Charles III can’t even manage his own household! Tragic, really:-(

As a British army veteran with four front line tours of duty in the middle east i think it was disgusting and unforgivable the way Megan paraded her self around at the Invictus games.
Such a shame as the games was such a much needed moral boost to the veterans community which celebrated champions and hero's not her!.

The men are not broken. They each have their life which are totally different. There is no gaping hole because listening to Harry’s diatribe about Royal life he would have been more trouble than he was worth. Being in another country makes life easier for the Royals. They don’t have to constantly watch over their shoulder that someone is going to repeat what they are saying or doing. The media respect their privacy but Harry doesn’t.

Megan Markle doesn't take time to have relations with her own family. So, its not surprising that she doesn't want to get along with Harry's family. She never came across as genuine.
