I'm running Philips ultinon moto 6000K LED (17W) on my gen1. It's super bright both high and low beam. I'm so satisfied with it. But at first there was an error shown and only high beam worked. After doing some research I find that the Gen1 needs a CANBUS unit to keep it from showing "general failure" and its easy to install just plug and play.
maybe you can try out the philipps ultinon 6000 led bulb & use the phlipps can bus adapter to avoid the error in the dashboard. Some guys in a german ktm forum already made it work this way. The can bus adapter takes up some space, so maybe you have to get creative where to mount it. cheers
Nice video. I put an LED bulb in my 2014 super duke and had the same issue with no low beam lol. I just use high beam if I’m out at night wich I never am. I’ll have to pick up one of this crystal vision ones. Thanks

You're welcome! I thought about just dealing with the high beam warning, but I know it would've annoyed me too much LOL
