If you don't have Kazuha you NEED to pull him I know it's tempting to just go for the newer characters but honestly his kit still feels so SO relevant and it's still so powerful. The shred he does it just insane and he enables so much damage and elemental combinations.

You do NOT need Kazuha but he is SO easy to play and SO easy to build and you can play him in MANY teams. Sucrosse is NOT easy to play and far from strong. IMO
New characters will get reruns as well so if you don't have Kazuha why not get him before new characters? Their kit looks very average compared to Kazuha in my opinion
As someone who owns Raiden (accidentally lol I tried to build pity thanks to my gambling addiction LOL), she carried me through the entire game since January. She makes my favorite playstyle (Normal/Charged Attacks i.e. Alhaitham/Arlecchino/Tighnari/Yoimiya/Wriothesley/Neuvillette/etc. and Overload with Chevreuse) play like butter. If you like that playstyle were you have an On-Field DPS with lots of off-field + support then I suggest you to get Raiden if you don't have her yet. And no, you don't need her Cons. Imo she is already damn good without them. And she can be played as a Main DPS too + her F2P option The Catch is basically just as good as her signature. I literally gave her Primordial Jade (a weapon usually not suggested for her) and I play her off-field and it still works and it took me only 1 week to get really good artifacts for her thanks to Strongbox. Don't get discouraged by the amount of stats she needs.
I'm definitely going for Kazuha for the value. Raiden is the character that got me into the game, so I don't want to miss her either, regardless of the meta
pull value this banner (meta wise): kazuha: best character in these banners hands down. i dont even need to see the leaks, hes definitely better than mualani and kinich (they aren’t guaranteed to be amazing dpses, and people had trouble choosing between neuvi- the dps tied for first rn and kazuha in 4.5) as supports > dps’s. works in most teams, god tier support. he’s one of the best characters in the game, and he’s going to stay there for a while. raiden: she’s a decent pull, but not needed. if you like her, pull for her. she’s probably the second highest tier in tier lists, so good thing is i don’t think you’ll regret her if you pull her. only thing is make sure you like her playstyle, and know that she isnt the only option in hyperbloom teams. mualani/kinich: it’s a wait and see but the most likely scenario is that it’s a if you like them, pull for them situation. theyre both dps’s so they can be easily replaced. they aren’t a priority, and they’ll probably rerun quickly so it’s not the end of the world if you skip them. if you already have kazuha and you can’t spend money on this game, i’d recommend you skip for the mavuika tbh. but at the end of the day, pull for who you want
Kazuha had a banner very recently, only reason they would rerun him again so quickly is bcs they are about to power creep the fk out of him with Xilonen, so they want to milk his banner one last time before pulling for him becomes pointless.
in my elder player opinion, heres who i think you should pull for: Kazuha: will bring the most value to ur account if u dont have him rn, this should be ur go to if you dont have him raiden: if you have c0 or c1, definitely get her cons, up to c3 is the best. if you dont have her c0 may feel underwhelming if you wanna main her, but extremely versatile imo, the reruns are too good to not pull for them, but if you dont care for either: mualani and kinich are both gambles but are both clearly very good dps characters, both seem like they will be clunky in practice (mualani more so) while kinich is pretty niche, so its a matter of choosing who you like more. but if you have emilie, get kinich, emilie currently struggles bc she doesnt have an on field counterpart
Mualani is better than kazuha though. Also I think raiden should be the one most people should get since kazuha is becoming more and more irrelevant and xilonen releases right after to powercreep him completely

Mualani is one of the fastest moving main dps’s, cc won’t be as gamebreaking for her as compared to Ayaka and Raiden. Kazuha’s VV activation also takes way too long, you have to jump up and down for a meager 10s res shred. After using him since 2.8, honestly I don’t find him feeling that good with some of the modern dps’s.
I think Kinich is gonna excel at his niche. Will also work great with the archon, just like Mualani. Although Mualani will probably be replaced by a new shiny hydro dps 1 year down the line, if we follow hoyo patterns and seeing what has happened to previous hydro DPS characters (Also, neuvi exists and he's great, and if you already are stacked full of hydro characters rn, your account would benefit more from other elements. Imaginarium is a joke, yes, but it's also a thing where you need different charas to clear. Just saying) Though imo, just pick your favorite and make it work Genshin is (thankfully) not like hsr where only the ultra highly invested accounts / the new shiny DPS characters can clear
I’m calling it now. Mualani will be the only limited hydro DPS from Natlan until at least the next region or the next summer event. Other hydro characters that will release in this region will have different roles. For example, we still don’t have a hydro character with a shielding gimmick. Also, hydro is way too over saturated rn. It’d make more sense to focus on other elements, like geo, which they are doing with Kachina and soon Xilonen. We’ve also yet to see a geo harbinger, if there is any.
Yh Kinich will definitely pop off the moment a good Pyro sub DPS with range comes out that isn't Xianling. Xianling is basically the only good Pyro buddy now since: - Kinich can easily step out of Bennets circle - Tohma only really works with basic attacks - Dehya is Dehya (yh she does provide interrupt resistance, but Geo Daddy does that better) Emilie is also a nice team mate
I’m going for raiden because I need a electro five star and I lost on her banner a year ago and I’m determined to get characters I lost 50/50’s on. I kinda want to see what these new characters do in the story before I get them because I also want ganyu and venti so l kinda want to get them before the characters who get a faster rerun
Xilonen seems to be a doozy- 36% res shred, sig weapon that gives crit stats to the entire team and more buffing capabilities to Geo/Pyro/Cryo/Hydro/Electro (According to FouL, who has never been wrong up until now)
Best reason to pull for Mualani has to be for exploration....she can travel on water faster then furina and she can also do that on land and perhaps in air too (not sure about air one) and the same goes for Kinich so their gameplay is gonna be really fun if you like to explore .

That's why I pulled for her initially. Then I fell in love. Her burst just feels so good to use, it's like camera zoom...pulls sword out...SWIPE. I'm debating going for her C1
Also AR60 here: Kazuha is not a must pull even if you don’t have supports. His VV shred is only 10s and the cc is not as useful if your main dps is fast moving. You also get to see Xilonen’s beta when Kazuha is up so why not wait for a few days before pulling?

Get Yelan, her sub dps is pretty much your main eps anyway because of her burst. Then get the next pyro main dps if you missed arlecchino to pair up with yelan so they you can clear any content
For me i would say go for the old characters if u dont have them because newer ones rerun faster then old characters and the newer characters will have more pull value in the future or u could go for the new characters😊😊😊
I started playing about 3 days ago, I'm a PGR player so I already have a good idea of how gacha games work. Continuing, I started playing wanting to focus on 2 characters Clorinde and Raiden Shogun. I'm lucky that I'll be able to get the Raiden Shogun, I already have 60 gems after 3 days of playing hahaha. I wanted to ask those of you who have been playing for a long time. Do you think Clorinde will take a long time to return?
Primarily speaking Emilie is off field she doesn't really buff burning damage itself nor does she really offer any buff to your teams however she does really good high damage because she scales higher if burning is present. Kinich is a really great but niche main DPS from what I've heard he can hit very high numbers and that's even without really good dedicated teams. The only issue with him is that he requires you to dedicate a lot of on field budget unless you just using him as a burst bot. Suffice to see if you don't care about great team optimisation or meta can you just want to play the characters you like go for it take whichever one you like the look of better. If you're talking about someone who will properly slot in the best for that team Emilie would probably be your best shot
I have a question. Should I pull for Mualani or Kinich? 1. If it's Mualani, I can use Mualani, Furina, Xiangling, and Kazuha. Hopefully I'll be able to get Mavuika and Xbalanque since rumours say that they are supports. I love her playstyle, surf on shark and BOOM! 2. I couldn't get Emilie bcs I already went all out for Furina (Even tho I knew she'd be a good support for Natlan chars). So I'll go with Kinich, Furina, Dehya or Xiangling, and Bennett team. I'll definitely replace Bennett and Dehya for future support, maybe Mavuika and Xbalanque. I'll definitely will save up for Emilie if I get Kinich. Though I already have Alhaitham and Nahida, I really like his playstyle. I'm on guaranteed btw
Raiden is probably the best value she’s a support, she’s a dps, sub dps, battery, flexible, and her damage is on top tier. And she’s f2p. Kazuha is extremely powerful aswell. But mualani is probably gonna be a navia and then 2-1 patches later she’s gonna be just a ,,good dps,,. That’s just my opinion though!
C0R0 Raiden dmg is not as great as people make it out to be. Mualani and Kinich beats her in that regard. Raiden’s main value lies in her skill for Hyperbloom and her batterying teams

My damage with raiden is really good it’s 100k-227k and her support is lvl 70 and no proper artifact. Her f2p damage is crazy and she has so many variations she’s overall just better to pull on.
Well i really like mualani and shes going to hopefully come home and support my team. Then i hope for raiden aswell! I hope i win my 50/50 😮 I currently have 35 pity and im on a 50/50. I have 20 wishes saved and ill get the 20 pulls from the anniversary, which will put me at soft pity for Mualani. If all works out, I'll also be able to keep saving for the rest of the phase until Raidens rerun. 😅
My aim will first and foremost be the Natlan characters (granted I like them), as I already have both Kazuha and Raiden. Would I love to have more constellations on my five stars? Oh, yes absolutely! But as more of a casual player, I focus on 'catching them all' more so than 'wasting' fates on characters I already have xD I love love love having Jean at C2 but it wasn't intentional x: I just lost the 50/50 and while that sucked, it made me happy in the end due to the atk and movement speed it brought my team. I secretly hope I will dislike both Mualani and Kinich, as that means I'll keep hoarding primos until Mavuika/the pyro archon owo More so than all the other characters - gotta catch allllll of the archons, heh ^o^

Is c0 Kazuha good? As a f2p player I barely get enough primogems to pull a character during a banner. I don't even consider getting a constellation or their weapon in a single banner run a possibility.

I recently started playing the game and so my only Five Stars are Yelan and Jean. I have 18.5k Primogems with no guarantee and am torn on who to get. I like Mualani, Kazuha, and Raiden but I also want Xilonen and Mavuika so I'm not sure what to do... Can anyone give me advice?
pick your favourite out of those to definitely pull for, then for the other choice id choose Kazuha as imo Raiden is not as insane as everyone makes her out to be at c0
the other two won’t come for a little while and if your account is sort of new, you can do exploration to help grind more primos for them don’t worry there’s given around 50-70 pulls given every patch I’m pretty sure

mualani and kinich are both gambles but are both clearly very good dps characters, both seem like they will be clunky in practice (mualani more so) while kinich is pretty niche, so its a matter of choosing who you like more.
but if you have emilie, get kinich, emilie currently struggles bc she doesnt have an on field counterpart
I think the best pair for Emile for now is maybe Lyney, cause pyro aura stays on so he still gets his buffs from his passive
Mualani is better than kazuha though. Also I think raiden should be the one most people should get since kazuha is becoming more and more irrelevant and xilonen releases right after to powercreep him completely

Mualani is one of the fastest moving main dps’s, cc won’t be as gamebreaking for her as compared to Ayaka and Raiden. Kazuha’s VV activation also takes way too long, you have to jump up and down for a meager 10s res shred. After using him since 2.8, honestly I don’t find him feeling that good with some of the modern dps’s.
I think Kinich is gonna excel at his niche. Will also work great with the archon, just like Mualani.
Although Mualani will probably be replaced by a new shiny hydro dps 1 year down the line, if we follow hoyo patterns and seeing what has happened to previous hydro DPS characters
(Also, neuvi exists and he's great, and if you already are stacked full of hydro characters rn, your account would benefit more from other elements. Imaginarium is a joke, yes, but it's also a thing where you need different charas to clear. Just saying)

Genshin is (thankfully) not like hsr where only the ultra highly invested accounts / the new shiny DPS characters can clear
I have a lot of hydro + my Neuvillette is C1 he doesn't need shield to be come useful it's like C0 Mualani (But she doesn't have ability to heal)

I’m calling it now. Mualani will be the only limited hydro DPS from Natlan until at least the next region or the next summer event. Other hydro characters that will release in this region will have different roles. For example, we still don’t have a hydro character with a shielding gimmick.
Also, hydro is way too over saturated rn. It’d make more sense to focus on other elements, like geo, which they are doing with Kachina and soon Xilonen. We’ve also yet to see a geo harbinger, if there is any.
Yh Kinich will definitely pop off the moment a good Pyro sub DPS with range comes out that isn't Xianling.
Xianling is basically the only good Pyro buddy now since:
- Kinich can easily step out of Bennets circle
- Tohma only really works with basic attacks
- Dehya is Dehya (yh she does provide interrupt resistance, but Geo Daddy does that better)
Emilie is also a nice team mate

I’m going for raiden because I need a electro five star and I lost on her banner a year ago and I’m determined to get characters I lost 50/50’s on. I kinda want to see what these new characters do in the story before I get them because I also want ganyu and venti so l kinda want to get them before the characters who get a faster rerun

Xilonen seems to be a doozy- 36% res shred, sig weapon that gives crit stats to the entire team and more buffing capabilities to Geo/Pyro/Cryo/Hydro/Electro (According to FouL, who has never been wrong up until now)
The nice thing by about being in late game is being able to pick characters I want and not having to go for meta only. 😅

Best reason to pull for Mualani has to be for exploration....she can travel on water faster then furina and she can also do that on land and perhaps in air too (not sure about air one) and the same goes for Kinich so their gameplay is gonna be really fun if you like to explore .
But her exploration skills are pretty much useless outside of natlan

Also AR60 here: Kazuha is not a must pull even if you don’t have supports. His VV shred is only 10s and the cc is not as useful if your main dps is fast moving. You also get to see Xilonen’s beta when Kazuha is up so why not wait for a few days before pulling?

Get Yelan, her sub dps is pretty much your main eps anyway because of her burst. Then get the next pyro main dps if you missed arlecchino to pair up with yelan so they you can clear any content
For me i would say go for the old characters if u dont have them because newer ones rerun faster then old characters and the newer characters will have more pull value in the future or u could go for the new characters😊😊😊

Primarily speaking Emilie is off field she doesn't really buff burning damage itself nor does she really offer any buff to your teams however she does really good high damage because she scales higher if burning is present.
Kinich is a really great but niche main DPS from what I've heard he can hit very high numbers and that's even without really good dedicated teams. The only issue with him is that he requires you to dedicate a lot of on field budget unless you just using him as a burst bot.
Suffice to see if you don't care about great team optimisation or meta can you just want to play the characters you like go for it take whichever one you like the look of better.
If you're talking about someone who will properly slot in the best for that team Emilie would probably be your best shot
In terms of optimal team comp for both of them, technically you’d want both of them, their both burn team units

2. I couldn't get Emilie bcs I already went all out for Furina (Even tho I knew she'd be a good support for Natlan chars). So I'll go with Kinich, Furina, Dehya or Xiangling, and Bennett team. I'll definitely replace Bennett and Dehya for future support, maybe Mavuika and Xbalanque. I'll definitely will save up for Emilie if I get Kinich. Though I already have Alhaitham and Nahida, I really like his playstyle.

Raiden is probably the best value she’s a support, she’s a dps, sub dps, battery, flexible, and her damage is on top tier. And she’s f2p. Kazuha is extremely powerful aswell. But mualani is probably gonna be a navia and then 2-1 patches later she’s gonna be just a ,,good dps,,. That’s just my opinion though!
C0R0 Raiden dmg is not as great as people make it out to be. Mualani and Kinich beats her in that regard.
Raiden’s main value lies in her skill for Hyperbloom and her batterying teams

My damage with raiden is really good it’s 100k-227k and her support is lvl 70 and no proper artifact. Her f2p damage is crazy and she has so many variations she’s overall just better to pull on.

I currently have 35 pity and im on a 50/50. I have 20 wishes saved and ill get the 20 pulls from the anniversary, which will put me at soft pity for Mualani. If all works out, I'll also be able to keep saving for the rest of the phase until Raidens rerun. 😅
My aim will first and foremost be the Natlan characters (granted I like them), as I already have both Kazuha and Raiden. Would I love to have more constellations on my five stars? Oh, yes absolutely! But as more of a casual player, I focus on 'catching them all' more so than 'wasting' fates on characters I already have xD
I love love love having Jean at C2 but it wasn't intentional x: I just lost the 50/50 and while that sucked, it made me happy in the end due to the atk and movement speed it brought my team.
I secretly hope I will dislike both Mualani and Kinich, as that means I'll keep hoarding primos until Mavuika/the pyro archon owo More so than all the other characters - gotta catch allllll of the archons, heh ^o^

Is c0 Kazuha good? As a f2p player I barely get enough primogems to pull a character during a banner. I don't even consider getting a constellation or their weapon in a single banner run a possibility.

pick your favourite out of those to definitely pull for, then for the other choice id choose Kazuha as imo Raiden is not as insane as everyone makes her out to be at c0
the other two won’t come for a little while and if your account is sort of new, you can do exploration to help grind more primos for them
don’t worry there’s given around 50-70 pulls given every patch I’m pretty sure
the 5.0 patch estimated number of wishes is 115 which is pretty insane aswell, at the end of the day pull for whoever you want the most id say
