Crazy seeing Itto in the Regret tier and then having him be the outro, but I get it. As Genshin progresses, some characters lose the value they once had.
@@sxg4rfr3e G thing about genshin is you can clear any end game content with anything. My F2P C0S1 itto team (itto/zhongli/chiori/c6 gorou) clears their chamber in spiral 12 in around 45s. So imo just play whoever you like. (funnily enough my "meta" team of alhaitham nahida furina and kuki shinobu isn't performing as well as my itto one- mainly cause im dying a lot)
@@Dan713He's trash if you don't have c6 Gorou if you're gonna use him to beat abyss* Geo generally isn't very valuable especially when you're trying to beat abyss. Once you have Zhongli you don't need the rest, and unlike this list, Nilou, Kokomi and Venti would place higher than Navia and Chiori because they're so easy to build and use with. The only reason you would pull for Geo without preference, much like Wanderer and Xiao or Alhaitham and Baizhu is for Imaginarium Theater. I don't know if I'm being biased an prejudiced here since I genuinely think I'm right, so if my sentiments end up wrong now and down the line I'm sorry

Fr Hu Tao is my main and ayaka is my best friends main. It really is just the play style other wise those two still do the best numbers especially Hu Tao
Even though Navia is my current main, I definitely agree with the C0 placement. She doesn’t need cons at all. Spent every gem I had getting her to C2, and I’d rather have those gems back. The cons are nice if you get them by chance, but not at all worth spending for. Her axe, on the other hand… Gotta get it for her. This is Fashion Impact, after all. Can’t have a stylish lady like her knocking heads with a weapon that doesn’t match her outfit, like some common ruffian. Neuvillette, on the other hand… he makes me feel like a crazy person. Everyone seems to love his play style, and my reaction is basically, “No thanks.” Spamming Hydro Pump seems incredibly boring to me. I had enough of it just doing his trial run. Likewise, the old darling of the dps category, Raiden, just doesn’t do it for me. Never was a fan of characters that are dependent on their burst. I don’t want to see that animation every time I need to take out a group of slimes. That was also one of my big annoyances with HSR’s combat, seeing those over the top dramatic ult animations over and over and over…
But I get it. Being told over and over "does that character even burst (cause of suboptimal er)" also made me prefer neuvilette and characters like him even though their playstyle might seem boring. C1 hutao with 2 staff of homa probably falls in my possible regrets but she still kills everything too and her gameplay is intricate - not turn your brain off like Neuvi.

Your experience with Lyney is kind of the exact opposite of mine. I pulled him solely for the Fontaine local specialties passive and no other reason and ended up loving him. Ganyu is one of my mains who I refuse to do any Abyss without so I like charged shots too. I don't use him THAT often because I have other mains but when I do I'm very very happy I have the guy

I’ve never regretted a character, nor have i regretted skipping one. I pull for who i think is fun at the time, not who i might regret later on, cuz that honestly doesn’t matter to me. If i had another chance, yeah maybe i’d put off pulling eula but i sure as hell would not use those pulls to pull raiden, zhongli or furina. I’d probably go for arle’s cons or smth
I recently built eula after like 3 years of not using her. Somehow i’m hitting 400k+ at C0 in the abyss and her normal attacks each hit 20k+. She’s not the best but no bad as i thought. Try running her with yelan raiden and zhongli

that sentence of yours "not who i might regret later on" doesn't actually work the way you're making it sound like.... like you can't decide that bruh, you can't decide that you're gonna regret something later or not unless it actually happens, that's how "regret", the word itself works, i mean yeah sometimes we do know b4 hand that we're gonna regret it but it's not always the case... like how i pulled for cyno in the spur of moment cuz he seemed fun at that time for me, but later i regretted pulling him cuz of the issue with his burst and all, and i never even use him nowadays!
I mostly regret pulling for dps characters I pulled more for their design/story/personality/animation aesthetics, but ended up not enjoying their playstyle (like Xiao, Neuvillette, Yoimiya, Eula, both Kamisato siblings,...). Neuvillette was the last straw; after him, I decided to only pull for a dps after I make sure I'll actually enjoy their playstyle for at least more than 2 weeks. And I especially regret Neuvillette because I was very close to not pulling him. My gut feeling was telling me he will get boring to play after a week or so, but I still gave in and, well, my gut feeling was absolutely correct.
@@zoiailiankova322 I'd say my top 10 fun to play on-fielders/characters you build the team around (not in order) are Keqing, Wanderer, Arlecchino, Klee, Navia, Alhaitham, Raiden, Hu Tao, Childe and Nilou. As for supports/off-field dps characters, I just pull/build the generally good ones like Furina, Bennett, Kazuha, Sucrose, Nahida, Yelan, Xiangling, Fischl,... and also those who specifically work well with my favorite on-fielders/teams (like (ideally C6) Faruzan for Wanderer, (ideally C6) Sara for Electro characters, Chevreuse for Overload teams,...). I'd recommend pulling for/building some or most of those generally good supports/off-field dps characters either way and then finding which on-fielders you enjoy playing the most (kinda sucks you can't just try any character at any time and need to wait for them to be featured or grind the story quests (and even then, I think some characters you can't even try out in their story quests)) and also pulling for those more specific supports if the on-fielders you picked need them.
At least you got neuvillette fontaine underwater speed boost. The other dpses you don’t like were questionable except maybe xiao. Ayato has a unique soup team that has good AOE but only feels like childe team dps levels without childe insane hydro application and xiangling multiple pyronado hits per round tech.
For real. Not even 30 seconds into Neuvilette's trial and I was already hard pass. I genuinely don't see me using him for more than 5 minutes before getting bored. At least Ganyu requires proper aiming and Ayato fights at close range and has fun combos. My learning lesson was when I pulled Ayaka during eternal banner because it was back when she was meta but I hated playing her and freeze in general so I never even finished building her set. Now I have Wrio who is more fun and I can play in Melt and Freeze with the same set so I have literally 0 reason to go back to her

Now that Imaginarium theater is here, I don't regret having any 5 stars I have. For sub dps and supports however, I have zero regrets ever since and will never be.
if youre looking to use yae more, i use her with tighnari and they shred everthing. while yae requires more field time than raiden or fischl, i find that it lines up really well with tighnari’s cooldowns since he ends up playing more like a quickswap character than a hypercarry. other team members are nahida and zhongli for comfort, or kokomi for hydro

It’s important to note that it all depends on your position in the game. Units such as Shenhe and Xianyun are niche, needing to utilize other specific characters and elemental types to take full advance of potential. Additionally, whoever you have based on how many characters and teams you have is also important. Start by getting DPS units or highly coveted supports like Kazuha if you’re seeking depth and diversity in early game. Then you can stack up new teams by going for other characters. However, I’d say the most crucial part of pulling for characters is preference. Obviously you want to have good characters, but go for who you like!
Baizhu was my first 5 star hes an mvp of my account and shaped it to become what it is now. i love him a lot it makes me sad to see that some people overlook him entirely simply because hes a healer and kokomi exists, so seeing him be apprecated here was nice ^-^.
Baizhu pairs really well with Alhaithan, Tighnari, Nilou and Neuvillete. You can fit him together with Nahida for Raiden / Clorinde teams, but is a mediocre combination in general. So if you don't have anything that pairs decently with Baizhu, you will feel regret.
I want baizhu so bad, but he didn't come home last rerun😔 maybe he saw one of the few accounts that loves and uses Qiqi regularly and decided to give her as much time in the spotlight as possible haha
Unfortunately/Fortunately, I will never be strong enough to skip characters I just like story wise. Got my boy Itto, will get Venti as soon as I can. And you know what, I'd probably get Albedo too if I could. Just seeing Itto on my account makes me happy 😊

The unfortunate reality is that most people only care about meta. Meanwhile, here I am, having skipped Neuvilette twice for Ayato and Itto and I like them so much, my only regret is not having done it sooner. (I initially skipped Ayato for his mid sister and I stick lack Gorou C6)
I tried to pull for Wriothesley last year and lost my 50/50 on the LAST day of his banner (to Mona). I've been hoping he'd come back before the end of Fontaine... yet here we are -_- I'm on guaranteed pity and have ALL his materials saved (been waiting with the guaranteed for MONTHS now) Genshin seems to hate him for some reason.
Raiden is still the only unit I would return for a refund. She was touted as the solution for all my problems but what I didn't know at the time was, prior to Dendro, she needed really good artifacts with lots of crit and ER to be amazing and I still am Farming EOSF for other units to this very day. So Raiden got benched immediately. I learned to be a bit pickier with my pulls and to throughly test units and not lgive theorycrafters opinion as much weight. She's better now as a hyper bloom trigger but I would not miss her.

Damn, I think I'm the only one who uses Lyney constantly since his release and even got his C4 with aqua simulacra. (Plans to get C6 + signature) I even got Emily for him hahahaha
well yeah i might be the only person who regrets having yelan. i pulled her only for meta and im not ashamed to admit that. the thing is even before furina id still use kokomi or xingqiu for hydro slots. ive always valued the sustain over damage and well yelan is mostly damage. i even have her weapon which i got pulling for homa and she still stays benched. the only ever time im using her is killing annoying bosses in overworld because its faster but even then i use other teams which i enjoy more. the point is, pull for characters you like. it doesnt matter if they might get powercreept later, this a gacha game after all and you should have fun at the moment. most people get burnt out of genshin so if you are the person who comes back every region and leaves or just playing whenever, i think this is the best advice i can give you. pulling for meta is ok as long as you like the character. because meta changes and in mine case it ruined the experience. i couldve got another character instead which i would actually enjoy playing but here we are. now i even struggle coming back to genshin beacuse i find it less and less fun than before. i wish you all the best
The only one I regret is HuTao even if I like her theme. I just irrationally hate her play style. What I don't regret is getting her weapon that I got as collateral. On the flip side, I really dislike Baizhu but I'm neutral with having him on my account. He just does something unique. I got him and his weapon super early even if neither were my target. There's plenty more that I rarely use anymore but they gave me the best times of my genshin life and I don't regret having them sit around like a trophy at all. Thank you, Venti, Xiao, Itto. ❤
Mostly, lots of really powerful dps get put in the bottom like Hu-Tao and Ayaka despite being more than strong enough to clear the abyss and any content
I love my Firework girl but see your point. I am happy got her to level 80 and worked to have my highest crit rate and damage. Shame I don't use archers much. I hope to change that though.
I have her at 90, with all her talents at 9, yet I have found her to be one of the more problematic characters to pilot. Whenever the game lags or gets a tad slow, or sometimes even just due to my own flawed inputs, oftentimes what I intend to be normal attacks end up being charged attacks. This isn't so bad with characters like Ayaka, Chiori, or Yanfei, but if you know Yoimiya, you already understand how terrible it would feel to have her normals disabled. This is why when I do play her, I enjoy her burst Burgeon playstyle much better than any standard build.
@@codyhanson1344 I am working on the Fox Boy. Dendro can be pretty good in some fights. Still will always love Yoimiya, but only in fights where Fire is a great option.
wdym why? nahida is an insane support who can enable aggravate, spread, hyperbloom, burgeon and even reverse melt while nilou only enables a stronger ver of bloom with restricted team comp and only if you like playing her, obviously nahida is much more valuable than nilou

During ayakas banner I had a Yoimiya guaranteed and I being the idiot I am wanted to pull for Yanfei cons. Ayaka fell into my lap at 25 pity and I to this day still do not have a Yoimiya. I refused to use her for months until I got to the point where I needed another strong dps (keqing being my only at the time) now looking at my c2 triple crown ayaka I will never leave her she’s my everything. I literally bought her outfit and pulled shen for her there is nothing I wouldn’t do for her.
I think Childe will get a big buff in Natlan. Xiangling is his best partner but she kinda sucks and holds him back plus Bennet circle impact sucks. If we get 5* replacements for both, Childe will hopefully get new life in Natlan
It's true that some character lose their value as the game progresses. if i make a new account *now* i'll probably skip venti too, but if i were to go back to ver 1.0 i will still pull for venti. He trivialize most contents and he doesn't have a lot of competition in his niche at the time other than sucrose and anemo mc. Sure we have more cc options now but even so i still use him in abyss and imaginarium theater where i have to defend monolith so yeah eventho he's not as necessary as he was back then it's still nice to have him around
I got Tartag when he reran during 4.x but didn't gear him until Nilous recent rerun because I just couldn't be asked to get artifacts for him. He's the one character I regret the most.
I got Childe to c6 in 1.1, loved him during the early game and then stopped after a while and still haven’t built him due to not having any 5* crit stat bow (including no skyward) and have never gotten proper artifacts for him to get all the crit rate and dmg he needs. All of this despite heavy heavy whaling. He’s not even a regret I guess anymore but man he’s so difficult to justify all the efforts i’d need to get him truly geared out.
As a Wanderer and Venti Main, if I were to start a new account, I'd "whale for cons" (metaphorically) every time to get them. Venti as a DPS crowd control plus Wanderer's charged attack makes for a deadly combination--and if you get Venti to C6, the Anemo res shred applies to Wanderer's attacks as well. I got lucky in that I got a c6 Faruzan as well so she boosts not only Wanderer, but Venti's damage as well. In fact Benny is the outlier on my team for being pyro. Meanwhile I actually find Kazuha, everyone's favorite meta Anemo boy, to be difficult to use right. His burst doesn't contain enemies, his skill's crowd control is a bit too short for that for my liking, and ngl, the praise for Kazuha while the hate for Venti has made me kinda dislike him. I still use him on my team with Nahida just to have SOME crowd control, but other than that... idk, not really the meta game changer for me that he is for everyone else. I'll stick to the puppet who wants a heart of his own and a little seed of hope that became a god for my main DPS personally.
I think sucrose would be better in a dendro team. And about kazuha, he's really good but only for shred and buffs, his cc is only good for small enemies like venti but you have to position yourself better. Also although there are some overlaps, venti and him have very different team possibilities because they don't do the same thing(venti is mainly a battery and cc character). I love both of them tho, couldn't imagine not having either.

Pretty much agree with this list except for Yae. Saying that nobody else does the totem gameplay isn't true with Fishl, Yao Yao, Xiangling, Chiori, Furina all having this style while using less on field time. Heck, Raiden does it without the need of being stuck in circle impact... Now that I think about it, Emilie is basically a power crept version of Yae in a different element.

This will get me some hate, but out of everyone I've ever pulled for the only one I do regret is Ayaka. And it wasn't intentional either. It happened in the last re-run she had alongside Navia. I wanted constellations for my Sucrose (because I adore her) and I made the mistake of pulling on Ayaka's banner for Sucrose. I wasn't in Fontaine at the time so I didn't know who Navia was (I was still exploring Sumeru like a chump). Came out with C1 Sucrose and an Ayaka I didn't want. I did use her as my main Cryo DPS at the time, but I didn't find her as fun to play compared to my other teams. Now that I know (and now have) Navia, I wish I could go back in time and dumped all my primos on her banner rather than Ayaka's. I've pulled for Itto and Cyno because I genuinely enjoy them as characters- I don't play either of them anymore. I even pulled recently for Emilie because I liked her character quest. I pulled for Sigewinne for the same reason. Ayaka? She's one of the few characters in Genshin I genuinely do not like and my opinion of her has only worsened over the years. I know a lot of people adore her (and even Hoyoverse seems to favor here) but I am sorry Ayaka fans. She's as entertaining/endearing as shaved ice without any syrup to me. She...Exists and every time she shows up I almost forget she's there. Doesn't help that I think she is an example of some of the worst writing decisions in Inazuma's AQ. (But if it makes anyone feel better, I think Ayato is even worse.) So...Yeah she's really the only character I genuinely regret wasting Primos on.
I have to agree with you on Ayaka, I will probably never be pulling for her, I find her extremely boring as a character and I also despise her play stay. I played her character quest and honestly I was yawning my way through her entire quest. I haven’t had any bad experiences with Ayaka, I just don’t like her character. I have never stated over the internet that I dislike Ayaka to an extreme amount, because I have also feared of how much hate I would get from the Genshin community, but I’m willing to say it here, because I have finally found someone who actually shares my opinion about her. She will forever always be my least favorite Genshin character and I will never be pulling for her ever and I don’t have a problem with that.
I don't know about her gameplay, but I really did not like her story quest. In the Archon quest she's "fine" as someone trying to help against the decree, although I prefer Thoma, but her story quest is basically just "woe is me, I'm rich". Just constantly complaining about how her position of privilege is bad actually because she can't go to festivals (even though when she does not only no one stops her but they keep it going just for her) and no one gets to know her, even though it seems they'd love to, and she has Thoma? It just was too much whining for my taste.
I pulled Ayaka back then because she was a good character and I needed a cryo dps. Now, I have an actual cryo dps that I love (Wriothesley) and now Ayaka is benched with good artifacts and triple crowned and level 90. I really regret it.
I agree!! I don’t remember why i pulled. Thought she was unlikeable, but some youtuber probably convinced me… then I god damm 2 copies of her in my pull!. So I am forcing myself to play her… I even bought her new clothes, just so she looked cuter. Uugghh still don’t like her very much…
@@zoeb3573Kind of telling how you basically think just before someone is financially well off they can’t have problems. 🤷♂️ Now is she THE most interesting character? No. But she’s sweet and her quest was actually about her. Her wanting to experience what normal people do can be relatable to both rich and poor. That and her wanting to know about her mother’s friend to then learn about her mom itself, showing a desire to actually live life is powerful. I don’t fully understand why you would have issue’s gameplay wise though. Not only does she make ice bridging places easier for travel, having the most unique dash in the game, but also she’s the only character to incorporate the dash mechanic. If you don’t like freeze though then sure I guess, but it’s a personal favorite to collect units, freeze then shred. Also it’s funny how you can deplete lector shields and such by just dashing at them. It’s funny.
I'm enjoying this video. I've been thinking about what characters I regret. I literally just got Emilie C0R1 and I'm wondering whether I am regretting it or not. It'll be hard to tell until we've gotten some of those Natlan characters tho. I've still got 400+ wishes saved and 5.0/5.1 + Anniversary will bring a ton more, and I hope that Burning turns out to be a legit, not-so-niche playstyle... because if not, then I will regret the 272 wishes I spent.
Ah, you said something in the end that was one of the reasons I got Emilie. On-field DPSes are too many, but a strong off-field DPS is useful anywhere they can slot in. This is true in the Abyss and particularly true in Imaginarium Theater. Still hoping she doesn't end up super niche and plays well with those upcoming Pyro Natlan characters.
I have good news for you that Emilie is viable with Kinich, especially with his signature that requires Burn/Burgeon to trigger it's passive so if you're going to main him she'll be a good pick up for him though not exactly necessary if you have Furina who's a more universal unit that also works well for him and if you otherwise don't plan to pull on him, also that's a delicious amount of wishes you have
@@yptrumpet The thing with Emilie is that she is an off field dps not a support and the burn reaction is just important to trigger her passive. Once her passive is activated her damage is just her raw damage (it's like superconduct for Eula). So in that regards it makes her extremely flexible and viable on any team that can include a burning trigger: Mono pyro variants, melt, vape, and even teams like Aggravate and Burdgeon If your aim is a more Soup like set up. My personal favorite is burning melt Ganyu. I previously did not have a decent of field dendro applier to keep burning active so Ganyu could consistently melt (Nahida just doesn't work well for me and my controller). Emilie not only fills this role but also does a sh&t ton of her own damage that was enough to 36 star the current abyss with this team.
I have Emilie and used her on Imaginarium Theater, and her being off-field is a blessing. Even though I like Alhaitham, I like that's she a comfortable character to use and I tend to use her more often than Alhaitham now.

Characters that I would trade out, in order to get other Characters: Klee > Xianyun Tartaglia > Clorinde Ayato > Neuvilette Wriothesley > Arlecchino these trades would actually make by accoutn bett,er because all 4 woudl get traded in for just better powercrept characters xD or such that simply offer more support
From my current roster... I don't think I'll ever regret getting anyone, even Ayaka or Venti (havent been using them on the abyss, but it's more about the abyss having both boss and mobs in the same half and not favoring cryo as much)
Not alphabetical? The only thing not alphabetical about this list is that you started with K. You just deliberately reordered things so you'd have Hu Tao and (Kamisato) Ayaka last.
Interesting concept however if the idea was to go from patch 1 to now with this knowledge I'd still get my hutao and homa. She has carried me through every bit of content since i got her and all the way up until arle came out.
Ayato is a character that I'd rate "Build Later". I enjoy his style both as a person and playstyle, but I'm definitely focusing on other characters before i use him. I also found out he's one of the rarest characters in the game.
I dont think theres any characters i regret honestly. I pretty much never use Yoimiya (i already had Hu Tao when i got her) but i really love her character so im still glad i got her. I also realised after getting Neuvillette that i dont really care for the way he plays compared to other DPS characters, but similar to Yoimiya i really love his personality and backstory etc, so ive never regretted it (+ even with my not-that-great build hes insanely strong, and i like having a proper hydro dps that isnt Childe)
You can only have 1 main dps per team where you can fit 2/3 so my advice would be to pull for unique support and buffers in priority cause has we've seen with fontaine dps characters get powercreep by newer characters. Pulling for the strongest dps at the moment might no be the right call cause a stronger one might come out next patch: Ganyu, Ayaka, Ayato, alhaithem, Hu Tao, Itto used to be considered the strongest dps until Wrio, neuvilette, kinich, arlechino, navia. Honnestly fontaine characters kinda ruin some of my favorite characters with the powercreep. I prefer the direction they took with Natlan so far by creating new unique playstyle and kit instead of raw damage.
I think do not regret pulling for anyone, even if I don’t use them much anymore, I have used everyone to an extent. It probably because I don’t pull for sake of meta I unironically like using all charge bow characters, especially Lyney, he is so comfortable to use compared to Hutao in my opinion. It helps that mine is C2 I guess lol
I do agree with the 5 star Dps units just being whoever you like. I’d even argue u can use 4 star Dps to fill in the IT (new end game mode) if you need more help it’s for dps roll like yanfei, ningyuang, sethos, etc. of course not the best but they will fill the role so u can focus on working on the Dps units that you really enjoy.
The only character I regret is Tartaglia. I do not like his playstyle as much as I though I would. Another one would be Hu Tao, but I love her so much as a character, I might still pull. As for cons, I love Ayaka, but I would leave her at C0 (she's C2).
As a Cyno main, he is fun and EXTREMELY strong when he is super invested and is paired with Furina, Nahida, and Baizhu. If you want to main him, you have to really want it, but it pays off. Not F2P friendly, but fun.
C1 Sigewinne's ascension passive is capable of outscaling Shehue's ice quills. Imo, Sigewinne has a lot of potential synergy w/Furina for double resonace teams, and have had great success with Navia/Chiori/Sige/Furina.
Shenhe is kinda rough bc she only buffs like 7 instances of an attack, so she doesn’t really help that many cryo users, as her skill has a big cooldown but you use up the buff so fast
Of all the characters I own on my account Yelan is the one I have debated the most on getting her C1. Sadly I passed last banner because I figured I should get Emily if anything because rumors were she is going to be cracked with Mavuika. Now here I am sitting on my guarantee with over 260 wishes still waiting for Mavuika and 50 wishes primed on weapon banner. I think I messed up.
Kind of a moot argument since you'd just skip all the old characters most likely and pull the new ones.. that's just how gacha works. Videos like this really perpetuate the belief that old units bad (except for a few.) although OP might regret their pulls I hope anyone else watching doesnt.
Haha, I play dendro without nahida and I find it more fun because it's never obvious who i should pick. I have to decide if Tighnari, Baizhu, Collei, or even Denro Traveler is better for each specific situation. With nahida it's always extremely obvious that you should use her (i also have Alhaitham, but he was an impulse pull that i deeply regret and haven't leveled. Maybe next year I'll regret him less, you never know. Didn't intend to ever build Amber or Lisa and now they're integral to my account, so who knows)
As a Venti Main, I'm very sad. I use him as a main dps on a Hypercarry Team and several variations of auto-attack spam teams (god i love mika), but he's a wonderful support, especially for Floor 11 (even more so if you build him DPS so he can do single target damage too). Currently saving for his C6, also have a budget of about $500 if i need to whale.

while i totally get that venti isn't the strongest character and the game has kinda outgrown him, i CANNOT play without him on an account lmao. his crowdcontrol in abyss chambers or domains with just a bunch of treasure hoarders or hilichurls is so nice and the biggest quality of life feature i have on my account, kazuha just doesn't do the same in terms of crowd control. i have multiple accounts where i try to go for different characters than i already have, but i'm so tempted to pull for venti on all of them 😭😭non-venti havers/wanters plz tell me how you get by without him 🙏
For me Shinobu is what Venti is to you. I have a rather reckless playstyle, rush in and "beat'em up before it attacks me," and her constant, powerful healing over time as well as electro application is something I just can't live without - or my characters can't anyway😅
I think my only regret is Hutao because I pulled her early game when I didn’t really know how the gacha system worked and just pulled whenever I had enough primos. Turns out I don’t like how she plays at all lol. She’s been on my account for ages with barely any use 😔
I think the only character I regret pulling is Itto. If I were were to start over then I would skip some characters I do not regret pulling but I just would not find them necessary anymore or I would want to try something different like Albedo. The one I am hung up on is if I would skip Childe or not again. I probably would because of Neuvillette. He covers the hydro AoE dps niche and I have played Childe extensively for 3 years already. One of my most used limited 5 stars. I regret not pulling Shenhe so I would absolutely pull her now. I skipped Emile now but I would probably pull her if starting over. Mostly because she is an off-field Dendro applier like Fischl. I do dislike that she must be paired with pyro though but it seems like this is going to be a thing in the nation of Pyro going forward as her off-field dps is quite potent. She can sort of serve as another pyro applier like Xiangling but needs to be paired with some sort of pyro application which can be slow like Deyha or Thoma which conveniently also serve as defensive options like how Bennett would be paired with Xiangling.
Kokomi- just put her on Sacrificial Fragments, she heals so much you don’t lose much and it makes her really flexible to relocate her skill Especially with the burst making it 100% uptime healing
lol the only characters i regret are ayaka and hu tao.... ayaka was an accident (i got her at like 20 pity... wanted to see if i could get a mika con) and hu tao was unfortunately thoma's first banner (i went to soft pity twice and got qiqi and hutao before 1 thoma 😔) ayaka at least got a cute skin i like but shes still 20/40 and hu tao ive never leveled past 1 out of saltiness (her free wish is surely cursed like her banner was)
Funny things but one day I remembered that I had Ayato and i still don't really know why i pulled for him, maybe i wanted a Hydro DPS. The only Hydro dps at the moment was Childe and i don't want this character. I regret Cyno Eula and Ayato (I got Cyno C1 because i did the free pull of the month to build pity and i got him like 3 wish after i get him)
Could you do updated "which constellations are broken" list like you used to? With Fontaine, and now Natlan coming in, I feel like so many constellations moved up the list, and many moved down due to things like Furina and Neuvillette existing. Those series were goated and I really liked watching them.
The Lyney take is so real, I really like Tighnari and Ganyu but for some reason it's not the same with Lyney, he just feels bad to play compared to them.
Who else loves ayakas sprint. I have ayakas c6 I love her! I understand that this video is biased and so am I, but saying she’s in the ‘skip’ is genuinely baffling. She’s a character that can do good dmg (better than wrio most of the time) but since she’s cryo I wouldn’t outright recommend her.
Totally agree on Ayato, he gets some field time occasionally but kinda regret pulling as he's not a lot of fun to play. Conversely I was bored of Neuvi just from his trial so have skipped him twice & likely will again unlike Wrio who I planned to skip then after the trial was popping 10 pulls like crazy. Sadly failed to get C1 but eagerly await his rerun.
The only characters I regret pulling are Ayato & Navia. My solo C1 Wrio does more dmg than my ayato team. As for Navia, I don’t enjoy playing her anymore despite having a cracked build for her.
Tighnari and Lyney belongs to the same tier, which i mean is they have characters that out DPS them in their elements. Namely Alhaitham and Arlecchino, but their gameplay is fun and incredibly stylish

Itto was made to powercreep Noelle, then ends up getting powercrept by Noelle LOL
@@sxg4rfr3e G thing about genshin is you can clear any end game content with anything. My F2P C0S1 itto team (itto/zhongli/chiori/c6 gorou) clears their chamber in spiral 12 in around 45s. So imo just play whoever you like.
(funnily enough my "meta" team of alhaitham nahida furina and kuki shinobu isn't performing as well as my itto one- mainly cause im dying a lot)

Geo generally isn't very valuable especially when you're trying to beat abyss. Once you have Zhongli you don't need the rest, and unlike this list, Nilou, Kokomi and Venti would place higher than Navia and Chiori because they're so easy to build and use with.
The only reason you would pull for Geo without preference, much like Wanderer and Xiao or Alhaitham and Baizhu is for Imaginarium Theater. I don't know if I'm being biased an prejudiced here since I genuinely think I'm right, so if my sentiments end up wrong now and down the line I'm sorry

Nothing inspires rage like pressing Diona's skill and watching her paws...go in the OPPOSITE direction...of the enemy...that's RIGHT in front of you...or it shoots straight up into the sky. And I do mean STRAIGHT up into the sky. Absolutely corrupt how they haven't fixed that, lol.
Never experienced that sky one though I used her for 7 months before getting zhongli
For me, they go in the direction of the enemy, except they go in the ground because the enemy is just slightly outside her range.

OMFGGG DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ABT HER BURST. HOYO OUT HERE "FIXING" THINGS THAT DOESN'T EVEN NEED ANY FIXING,BUT SMH THEY CAN'T FIX THEIR OLD FLAWS. Rn i noticed how Rosaria her skill doesn't properly locate and hit enemies even though the enemies are right INFRONT OF HER. She literally miss hitting them like 90% of the times i used her. So imo hoyo should look at the old characters that need fixing instead of trying to ruin the game and people's fun.

Even though Navia is my current main, I definitely agree with the C0 placement. She doesn’t need cons at all. Spent every gem I had getting her to C2, and I’d rather have those gems back. The cons are nice if you get them by chance, but not at all worth spending for. Her axe, on the other hand… Gotta get it for her. This is Fashion Impact, after all. Can’t have a stylish lady like her knocking heads with a weapon that doesn’t match her outfit, like some common ruffian.
Neuvillette, on the other hand… he makes me feel like a crazy person. Everyone seems to love his play style, and my reaction is basically, “No thanks.” Spamming Hydro Pump seems incredibly boring to me. I had enough of it just doing his trial run. Likewise, the old darling of the dps category, Raiden, just doesn’t do it for me. Never was a fan of characters that are dependent on their burst. I don’t want to see that animation every time I need to take out a group of slimes. That was also one of my big annoyances with HSR’s combat, seeing those over the top dramatic ult animations over and over and over…

They killed any hope for vertical investment with imaginarium. There's really no character to regret having any more.
But I get it. Being told over and over "does that character even burst (cause of suboptimal er)" also made me prefer neuvilette and characters like him even though their playstyle might seem boring. C1 hutao with 2 staff of homa probably falls in my possible regrets but she still kills everything too and her gameplay is intricate - not turn your brain off like Neuvi.

Your experience with Lyney is kind of the exact opposite of mine. I pulled him solely for the Fontaine local specialties passive and no other reason and ended up loving him. Ganyu is one of my mains who I refuse to do any Abyss without so I like charged shots too. I don't use him THAT often because I have other mains but when I do I'm very very happy I have the guy
I considered getting him solely for the exploration AND because I wanted to reunite him with his siblings, but had to save my guarantee for Wanderer

I’ve never regretted a character, nor have i regretted skipping one. I pull for who i think is fun at the time, not who i might regret later on, cuz that honestly doesn’t matter to me.
If i had another chance, yeah maybe i’d put off pulling eula but i sure as hell would not use those pulls to pull raiden, zhongli or furina. I’d probably go for arle’s cons or smth
I recently built eula after like 3 years of not using her. Somehow i’m hitting 400k+ at C0 in the abyss and her normal attacks each hit 20k+. She’s not the best but no bad as i thought. Try running her with yelan raiden and zhongli
Me too. My first character was Klee and even if I don't use her anymore, I don't regret her because she carried me to AR50.

like how i pulled for cyno in the spur of moment cuz he seemed fun at that time for me, but later i regretted pulling him cuz of the issue with his burst and all, and i never even use him nowadays!
I mostly regret pulling for dps characters I pulled more for their design/story/personality/animation aesthetics, but ended up not enjoying their playstyle (like Xiao, Neuvillette, Yoimiya, Eula, both Kamisato siblings,...). Neuvillette was the last straw; after him, I decided to only pull for a dps after I make sure I'll actually enjoy their playstyle for at least more than 2 weeks.
And I especially regret Neuvillette because I was very close to not pulling him. My gut feeling was telling me he will get boring to play after a week or so, but I still gave in and, well, my gut feeling was absolutely correct.

@@zoiailiankova322 I'd say my top 10 fun to play on-fielders/characters you build the team around (not in order) are Keqing, Wanderer, Arlecchino, Klee, Navia, Alhaitham, Raiden, Hu Tao, Childe and Nilou.
As for supports/off-field dps characters, I just pull/build the generally good ones like Furina, Bennett, Kazuha, Sucrose, Nahida, Yelan, Xiangling, Fischl,... and also those who specifically work well with my favorite on-fielders/teams (like (ideally C6) Faruzan for Wanderer, (ideally C6) Sara for Electro characters, Chevreuse for Overload teams,...).
I'd recommend pulling for/building some or most of those generally good supports/off-field dps characters either way and then finding which on-fielders you enjoy playing the most (kinda sucks you can't just try any character at any time and need to wait for them to be featured or grind the story quests (and even then, I think some characters you can't even try out in their story quests)) and also pulling for those more specific supports if the on-fielders you picked need them.
At least you got neuvillette fontaine underwater speed boost.
The other dpses you don’t like were questionable except maybe xiao.
Ayato has a unique soup team that has good AOE but only feels like childe team dps levels without childe insane hydro application and xiangling multiple pyronado hits per round tech.
For real. Not even 30 seconds into Neuvilette's trial and I was already hard pass. I genuinely don't see me using him for more than 5 minutes before getting bored. At least Ganyu requires proper aiming and Ayato fights at close range and has fun combos. My learning lesson was when I pulled Ayaka during eternal banner because it was back when she was meta but I hated playing her and freeze in general so I never even finished building her set. Now I have Wrio who is more fun and I can play in Melt and Freeze with the same set so I have literally 0 reason to go back to her

Now that Imaginarium theater is here, I don't regret having any 5 stars I have. For sub dps and supports however, I have zero regrets ever since and will never be.
I did Klee Furina Layla Xianyun for plunge melt Klee. Probably the most viable Klee playstyle i tried.

if youre looking to use yae more, i use her with tighnari and they shred everthing. while yae requires more field time than raiden or fischl, i find that it lines up really well with tighnari’s cooldowns since he ends up playing more like a quickswap character than a hypercarry. other team members are nahida and zhongli for comfort, or kokomi for hydro

It’s important to note that it all depends on your position in the game. Units such as Shenhe and Xianyun are niche, needing to utilize other specific characters and elemental types to take full advance of potential. Additionally, whoever you have based on how many characters and teams you have is also important. Start by getting DPS units or highly coveted supports like Kazuha if you’re seeking depth and diversity in early game. Then you can stack up new teams by going for other characters. However, I’d say the most crucial part of pulling for characters is preference. Obviously you want to have good characters, but go for who you like!

Baizhu was my first 5 star hes an mvp of my account and shaped it to become what it is now. i love him a lot it makes me sad to see that some people overlook him entirely simply because hes a healer and kokomi exists, so seeing him be apprecated here was nice ^-^.
Baizhu pairs really well with Alhaithan, Tighnari, Nilou and Neuvillete. You can fit him together with Nahida for Raiden / Clorinde teams, but is a mediocre combination in general. So if you don't have anything that pairs decently with Baizhu, you will feel regret.
I want baizhu so bad, but he didn't come home last rerun😔 maybe he saw one of the few accounts that loves and uses Qiqi regularly and decided to give her as much time in the spotlight as possible haha
Unfortunately/Fortunately, I will never be strong enough to skip characters I just like story wise. Got my boy Itto, will get Venti as soon as I can. And you know what, I'd probably get Albedo too if I could. Just seeing Itto on my account makes me happy 😊

The unfortunate reality is that most people only care about meta. Meanwhile, here I am, having skipped Neuvilette twice for Ayato and Itto and I like them so much, my only regret is not having done it sooner. (I initially skipped Ayato for his mid sister and I stick lack Gorou C6)

I tried to pull for Wriothesley last year and lost my 50/50 on the LAST day of his banner (to Mona). I've been hoping he'd come back before the end of Fontaine... yet here we are -_- I'm on guaranteed pity and have ALL his materials saved (been waiting with the guaranteed for MONTHS now) Genshin seems to hate him for some reason.
Raiden is still the only unit I would return for a refund. She was touted as the solution for all my problems but what I didn't know at the time was, prior to Dendro, she needed really good artifacts with lots of crit and ER to be amazing and I still am Farming EOSF for other units to this very day. So Raiden got benched immediately. I learned to be a bit pickier with my pulls and to throughly test units and not lgive theorycrafters opinion as much weight. She's better now as a hyper bloom trigger but I would not miss her.

well yeah i might be the only person who regrets having yelan. i pulled her only for meta and im not ashamed to admit that. the thing is even before furina id still use kokomi or xingqiu for hydro slots. ive always valued the sustain over damage and well yelan is mostly damage. i even have her weapon which i got pulling for homa and she still stays benched. the only ever time im using her is killing annoying bosses in overworld because its faster but even then i use other teams which i enjoy more.
the point is, pull for characters you like. it doesnt matter if they might get powercreept later, this a gacha game after all and you should have fun at the moment. most people get burnt out of genshin so if you are the person who comes back every region and leaves or just playing whenever, i think this is the best advice i can give you.
pulling for meta is ok as long as you like the character. because meta changes and in mine case it ruined the experience. i couldve got another character instead which i would actually enjoy playing but here we are. now i even struggle coming back to genshin beacuse i find it less and less fun than before. i wish you all the best
The only one I regret is HuTao even if I like her theme. I just irrationally hate her play style. What I don't regret is getting her weapon that I got as collateral.
On the flip side, I really dislike Baizhu but I'm neutral with having him on my account. He just does something unique. I got him and his weapon super early even if neither were my target.
There's plenty more that I rarely use anymore but they gave me the best times of my genshin life and I don't regret having them sit around like a trophy at all. Thank you, Venti, Xiao, Itto. ❤

Mostly, lots of really powerful dps get put in the bottom like Hu-Tao and Ayaka despite being more than strong enough to clear the abyss and any content
I love my Firework girl but see your point. I am happy got her to level 80 and worked to have my highest crit rate and damage. Shame I don't use archers much. I hope to change that though.
I have her at 90, with all her talents at 9, yet I have found her to be one of the more problematic characters to pilot. Whenever the game lags or gets a tad slow, or sometimes even just due to my own flawed inputs, oftentimes what I intend to be normal attacks end up being charged attacks. This isn't so bad with characters like Ayaka, Chiori, or Yanfei, but if you know Yoimiya, you already understand how terrible it would feel to have her normals disabled. This is why when I do play her, I enjoy her burst Burgeon playstyle much better than any standard build.
@@codyhanson1344 I am working on the Fox Boy. Dendro can be pretty good in some fights. Still will always love Yoimiya, but only in fights where Fire is a great option.

Nilou isnt the only character that works with nahida! Maybe he doesnt like her playstyle! Hope that helps 🙂
wdym why? nahida is an insane support who can enable aggravate, spread, hyperbloom, burgeon and even reverse melt while nilou only enables a stronger ver of bloom with restricted team comp and only if you like playing her, obviously nahida is much more valuable than nilou

During ayakas banner I had a Yoimiya guaranteed and I being the idiot I am wanted to pull for Yanfei cons. Ayaka fell into my lap at 25 pity and I to this day still do not have a Yoimiya.
I refused to use her for months until I got to the point where I needed another strong dps (keqing being my only at the time) now looking at my c2 triple crown ayaka I will never leave her she’s my everything. I literally bought her outfit and pulled shen for her there is nothing I wouldn’t do for her.
I think Childe will get a big buff in Natlan. Xiangling is his best partner but she kinda sucks and holds him back plus Bennet circle impact sucks. If we get 5* replacements for both, Childe will hopefully get new life in Natlan

He trivialize most contents and he doesn't have a lot of competition in his niche at the time other than sucrose and anemo mc. Sure we have more cc options now but even so i still use him in abyss and imaginarium theater where i have to defend monolith

I got Tartag when he reran during 4.x but didn't gear him until Nilous recent rerun because I just couldn't be asked to get artifacts for him. He's the one character I regret the most.

I got Childe to c6 in 1.1, loved him during the early game and then stopped after a while and still haven’t built him due to not having any 5* crit stat bow (including no skyward) and have never gotten proper artifacts for him to get all the crit rate and dmg he needs. All of this despite heavy heavy whaling. He’s not even a regret I guess anymore but man he’s so difficult to justify all the efforts i’d need to get him truly geared out.
As a Wanderer and Venti Main, if I were to start a new account, I'd "whale for cons" (metaphorically) every time to get them. Venti as a DPS crowd control plus Wanderer's charged attack makes for a deadly combination--and if you get Venti to C6, the Anemo res shred applies to Wanderer's attacks as well. I got lucky in that I got a c6 Faruzan as well so she boosts not only Wanderer, but Venti's damage as well. In fact Benny is the outlier on my team for being pyro.
Meanwhile I actually find Kazuha, everyone's favorite meta Anemo boy, to be difficult to use right. His burst doesn't contain enemies, his skill's crowd control is a bit too short for that for my liking, and ngl, the praise for Kazuha while the hate for Venti has made me kinda dislike him. I still use him on my team with Nahida just to have SOME crowd control, but other than that... idk, not really the meta game changer for me that he is for everyone else.
I'll stick to the puppet who wants a heart of his own and a little seed of hope that became a god for my main DPS personally.
I think sucrose would be better in a dendro team. And about kazuha, he's really good but only for shred and buffs, his cc is only good for small enemies like venti but you have to position yourself better. Also although there are some overlaps, venti and him have very different team possibilities because they don't do the same thing(venti is mainly a battery and cc character).
I love both of them tho, couldn't imagine not having either.
I lowkey want c6 venti, but the only team I use him in won’t benefit too much from him being c6 😭

Pretty much agree with this list except for Yae. Saying that nobody else does the totem gameplay isn't true with Fishl, Yao Yao, Xiangling, Chiori, Furina all having this style while using less on field time. Heck, Raiden does it without the need of being stuck in circle impact... Now that I think about it, Emilie is basically a power crept version of Yae in a different element.

This will get me some hate, but out of everyone I've ever pulled for the only one I do regret is Ayaka. And it wasn't intentional either. It happened in the last re-run she had alongside Navia. I wanted constellations for my Sucrose (because I adore her) and I made the mistake of pulling on Ayaka's banner for Sucrose. I wasn't in Fontaine at the time so I didn't know who Navia was (I was still exploring Sumeru like a chump).
Came out with C1 Sucrose and an Ayaka I didn't want. I did use her as my main Cryo DPS at the time, but I didn't find her as fun to play compared to my other teams.
Now that I know (and now have) Navia, I wish I could go back in time and dumped all my primos on her banner rather than Ayaka's.
I've pulled for Itto and Cyno because I genuinely enjoy them as characters- I don't play either of them anymore. I even pulled recently for Emilie because I liked her character quest. I pulled for Sigewinne for the same reason.
Ayaka? She's one of the few characters in Genshin I genuinely do not like and my opinion of her has only worsened over the years.
I know a lot of people adore her (and even Hoyoverse seems to favor here) but I am sorry Ayaka fans. She's as entertaining/endearing as shaved ice without any syrup to me. She...Exists and every time she shows up I almost forget she's there. Doesn't help that I think she is an example of some of the worst writing decisions in Inazuma's AQ. (But if it makes anyone feel better, I think Ayato is even worse.)
So...Yeah she's really the only character I genuinely regret wasting Primos on.
I have to agree with you on Ayaka, I will probably never be pulling for her, I find her extremely boring as a character and I also despise her play stay. I played her character quest and honestly I was yawning my way through her entire quest. I haven’t had any bad experiences with Ayaka, I just don’t like her character. I have never stated over the internet that I dislike Ayaka to an extreme amount, because I have also feared of how much hate I would get from the Genshin community, but I’m willing to say it here, because I have finally found someone who actually shares my opinion about her. She will forever always be my least favorite Genshin character and I will never be pulling for her ever and I don’t have a problem with that.
I don't know about her gameplay, but I really did not like her story quest. In the Archon quest she's "fine" as someone trying to help against the decree, although I prefer Thoma, but her story quest is basically just "woe is me, I'm rich". Just constantly complaining about how her position of privilege is bad actually because she can't go to festivals (even though when she does not only no one stops her but they keep it going just for her) and no one gets to know her, even though it seems they'd love to, and she has Thoma? It just was too much whining for my taste.
I pulled Ayaka back then because she was a good character and I needed a cryo dps. Now, I have an actual cryo dps that I love (Wriothesley) and now Ayaka is benched with good artifacts and triple crowned and level 90. I really regret it.
I agree!! I don’t remember why i pulled. Thought she was unlikeable, but some youtuber probably convinced me… then I god damm 2 copies of her in my pull!. So I am forcing myself to play her… I even bought her new clothes, just so she looked cuter. Uugghh still don’t like her very much…

Now is she THE most interesting character? No. But she’s sweet and her quest was actually about her. Her wanting to experience what normal people do can be relatable to both rich and poor. That and her wanting to know about her mother’s friend to then learn about her mom itself, showing a desire to actually live life is powerful.
I don’t fully understand why you would have issue’s gameplay wise though. Not only does she make ice bridging places easier for travel, having the most unique dash in the game, but also she’s the only character to incorporate the dash mechanic. If you don’t like freeze though then sure I guess, but it’s a personal favorite to collect units, freeze then shred. Also it’s funny how you can deplete lector shields and such by just dashing at them. It’s funny.
I'm enjoying this video. I've been thinking about what characters I regret. I literally just got Emilie C0R1 and I'm wondering whether I am regretting it or not. It'll be hard to tell until we've gotten some of those Natlan characters tho. I've still got 400+ wishes saved and 5.0/5.1 + Anniversary will bring a ton more, and I hope that Burning turns out to be a legit, not-so-niche playstyle... because if not, then I will regret the 272 wishes I spent.
Ah, you said something in the end that was one of the reasons I got Emilie. On-field DPSes are too many, but a strong off-field DPS is useful anywhere they can slot in. This is true in the Abyss and particularly true in Imaginarium Theater. Still hoping she doesn't end up super niche and plays well with those upcoming Pyro Natlan characters.
I have good news for you that Emilie is viable with Kinich, especially with his signature that requires Burn/Burgeon to trigger it's passive so if you're going to main him she'll be a good pick up for him though not exactly necessary if you have Furina who's a more universal unit that also works well for him and if you otherwise don't plan to pull on him, also that's a delicious amount of wishes you have
@@yptrumpet The thing with Emilie is that she is an off field dps not a support and the burn reaction is just important to trigger her passive. Once her passive is activated her damage is just her raw damage (it's like superconduct for Eula). So in that regards it makes her extremely flexible and viable on any team that can include a burning trigger: Mono pyro variants, melt, vape, and even teams like Aggravate and Burdgeon If your aim is a more Soup like set up. My personal favorite is burning melt Ganyu. I previously did not have a decent of field dendro applier to keep burning active so Ganyu could consistently melt (Nahida just doesn't work well for me and my controller). Emilie not only fills this role but also does a sh&t ton of her own damage that was enough to 36 star the current abyss with this team.
I have Emilie and used her on Imaginarium Theater, and her being off-field is a blessing. Even though I like Alhaitham, I like that's she a comfortable character to use and I tend to use her more often than Alhaitham now.

Interesting concept however if the idea was to go from patch 1 to now with this knowledge I'd still get my hutao and homa. She has carried me through every bit of content since i got her and all the way up until arle came out.

Ayato is a character that I'd rate "Build Later". I enjoy his style both as a person and playstyle, but I'm definitely focusing on other characters before i use him. I also found out he's one of the rarest characters in the game.
Agree with every single hero placement on this list EXCEPT one: I'd put Ganyu in the C0 tier. After all these years, she can STILL get the job done!
I have c6 Itto, and he is by far my best character. He's so good. I think he wouldn't be that great at c0, but starting at c2 he gets really good.
I dont think theres any characters i regret honestly. I pretty much never use Yoimiya (i already had Hu Tao when i got her) but i really love her character so im still glad i got her. I also realised after getting Neuvillette that i dont really care for the way he plays compared to other DPS characters, but similar to Yoimiya i really love his personality and backstory etc, so ive never regretted it (+ even with my not-that-great build hes insanely strong, and i like having a proper hydro dps that isnt Childe)
You can only have 1 main dps per team where you can fit 2/3 so my advice would be to pull for unique support and buffers in priority cause has we've seen with fontaine dps characters get powercreep by newer characters.
Pulling for the strongest dps at the moment might no be the right call cause a stronger one might come out next patch: Ganyu, Ayaka, Ayato, alhaithem, Hu Tao, Itto used to be considered the strongest dps until Wrio, neuvilette, kinich, arlechino, navia.
Honnestly fontaine characters kinda ruin some of my favorite characters with the powercreep. I prefer the direction they took with Natlan so far by creating new unique playstyle and kit instead of raw damage.

I do agree with the 5 star Dps units just being whoever you like. I’d even argue u can use 4 star Dps to fill in the IT (new end game mode) if you need more help it’s for dps roll like yanfei, ningyuang, sethos, etc. of course not the best but they will fill the role so u can focus on working on the Dps units that you really enjoy.
The only character I regret is Tartaglia. I do not like his playstyle as much as I though I would. Another one would be Hu Tao, but I love her so much as a character, I might still pull.
As for cons, I love Ayaka, but I would leave her at C0 (she's C2).

As a Cyno main, he is fun and EXTREMELY strong when he is super invested and is paired with Furina, Nahida, and Baizhu. If you want to main him, you have to really want it, but it pays off. Not F2P friendly, but fun.

C1 Sigewinne's ascension passive is capable of outscaling Shehue's ice quills. Imo, Sigewinne has a lot of potential synergy w/Furina for double resonace teams, and have had great success with Navia/Chiori/Sige/Furina.

Shenhe is kinda rough bc she only buffs like 7 instances of an attack, so she doesn’t really help that many cryo users, as her skill has a big cooldown but you use up the buff so fast
Of all the characters I own on my account Yelan is the one I have debated the most on getting her C1. Sadly I passed last banner because I figured I should get Emily if anything because rumors were she is going to be cracked with Mavuika. Now here I am sitting on my guarantee with over 260 wishes still waiting for Mavuika and 50 wishes primed on weapon banner. I think I messed up.
Kind of a moot argument since you'd just skip all the old characters most likely and pull the new ones.. that's just how gacha works. Videos like this really perpetuate the belief that old units bad (except for a few.) although OP might regret their pulls I hope anyone else watching doesnt.
Haha, I play dendro without nahida and I find it more fun because it's never obvious who i should pick. I have to decide if Tighnari, Baizhu, Collei, or even Denro Traveler is better for each specific situation. With nahida it's always extremely obvious that you should use her (i also have Alhaitham, but he was an impulse pull that i deeply regret and haven't leveled. Maybe next year I'll regret him less, you never know. Didn't intend to ever build Amber or Lisa and now they're integral to my account, so who knows)

As a Venti Main, I'm very sad. I use him as a main dps on a Hypercarry Team and several variations of auto-attack spam teams (god i love mika), but he's a wonderful support, especially for Floor 11 (even more so if you build him DPS so he can do single target damage too). Currently saving for his C6, also have a budget of about $500 if i need to whale.

For me Shinobu is what Venti is to you. I have a rather reckless playstyle, rush in and "beat'em up before it attacks me," and her constant, powerful healing over time as well as electro application is something I just can't live without - or my characters can't anyway😅
I think my only regret is Hutao because I pulled her early game when I didn’t really know how the gacha system worked and just pulled whenever I had enough primos. Turns out I don’t like how she plays at all lol. She’s been on my account for ages with barely any use 😔

I think the only character I regret pulling is Itto. If I were were to start over then I would skip some characters I do not regret pulling but I just would not find them necessary anymore or I would want to try something different like Albedo. The one I am hung up on is if I would skip Childe or not again. I probably would because of Neuvillette. He covers the hydro AoE dps niche and I have played Childe extensively for 3 years already. One of my most used limited 5 stars. I regret not pulling Shenhe so I would absolutely pull her now.
I skipped Emile now but I would probably pull her if starting over. Mostly because she is an off-field Dendro applier like Fischl. I do dislike that she must be paired with pyro though but it seems like this is going to be a thing in the nation of Pyro going forward as her off-field dps is quite potent. She can sort of serve as another pyro applier like Xiangling but needs to be paired with some sort of pyro application which can be slow like Deyha or Thoma which conveniently also serve as defensive options like how Bennett would be paired with Xiangling.

Kokomi- just put her on Sacrificial Fragments, she heals so much you don’t lose much and it makes her really flexible to relocate her skill

lol the only characters i regret are ayaka and hu tao.... ayaka was an accident (i got her at like 20 pity... wanted to see if i could get a mika con) and hu tao was unfortunately thoma's first banner (i went to soft pity twice and got qiqi and hutao before 1 thoma 😔) ayaka at least got a cute skin i like but shes still 20/40 and hu tao ive never leveled past 1 out of saltiness (her free wish is surely cursed like her banner was)

Funny things but one day I remembered that I had Ayato and i still don't really know why i pulled for him, maybe i wanted a Hydro DPS.
The only Hydro dps at the moment was Childe and i don't want this character. I regret Cyno Eula and Ayato (I got Cyno C1 because i did the free pull of the month to build pity and i got him like 3 wish after i get him)
It is crazy to me that he picks up Wriothesly over Ayaka when she is so much better.

Could you do updated "which constellations are broken" list like you used to? With Fontaine, and now Natlan coming in, I feel like so many constellations moved up the list, and many moved down due to things like Furina and Neuvillette existing. Those series were goated and I really liked watching them.
The Lyney take is so real, I really like Tighnari and Ganyu but for some reason it's not the same with Lyney, he just feels bad to play compared to them.

Who else loves ayakas sprint. I have ayakas c6 I love her! I understand that this video is biased and so am I, but saying she’s in the ‘skip’ is genuinely baffling. She’s a character that can do good dmg (better than wrio most of the time) but since she’s cryo I wouldn’t outright recommend her.
Out of the three I actually finished Furina c6 is the only one ive definitely never regretted once. Crazy strong and versatile
Totally agree on Ayato, he gets some field time occasionally but kinda regret pulling as he's not a lot of fun to play. Conversely I was bored of Neuvi just from his trial so have skipped him twice & likely will again unlike Wrio who I planned to skip then after the trial was popping 10 pulls like crazy. Sadly failed to get C1 but eagerly await his rerun.

The only characters I regret pulling are Ayato & Navia. My solo C1 Wrio does more dmg than my ayato team. As for Navia, I don’t enjoy playing her anymore despite having a cracked build for her.

Tighnari and Lyney belongs to the same tier, which i mean is they have characters that out DPS them in their elements. Namely Alhaitham and Arlecchino, but their gameplay is fun and incredibly stylish
