Quick tip: If you feel like you're not doing as much dmg as you think, even if you have good builds, then the problem may be how you use the characters. Take some time to see what each one you like can do and then, see how you can make a viable strat for them.
I agree, I mean. I can make work characters with bad artifacts, I purposely stayed on AR45 to build my main characters and easily farm artifacts. You can easily farm lvl90 domains by using lots of buffs. I'm now farming for talents and building weapons. I just about started 4 months ago? I think.
@@karlacastanares3084 Same. I also stayed on AR45 to build talents and artifacts for 4 months now. I am still at AR45 and I have two teams of LV79 characters, and I'm working for my third team. Raiding LV90 domains is now easier, and increasing the exploration progress is also easy since the world level is not that high and the enemies are doable.
Great tips, just 1 correction -- when you lower your world level, it's not just for 24 hours -- it stays lowered until you bring it up again. It's just that you can't make any further changes until 24 hours later (basically a 1 day cooldown on using this function).
A quick question on that, can one just lower 1 world level and then your world permanently stays 1 level lower than it should be at that AR? Or does it reset when ranking up but also let you to lower all the way back down again? (so basically you can go from say 7 back down to 4 as long as you wait 24 hours each time?)
@@88Opportunist you can only go down one level from where you started I’m level 5 but went back to 4 been on 4 for some weeks now and one level from 6 so I’ll let you know if it pushes me to 5 or let me stay 4
@@88OpportunistBro i just start playing this game. I get a 4 star sword but i can only use it on kaya dude ( that ice throwing dude) .i got a 5 star character ( dont know if he is good that flame dude diluc ) i wanted to use that 4 star sword on diluc but when i take diluc and go to weapon the sword is not showing there. Can u tell me why is it . I started this game 3 days ago
Yeah, I levelled AR way to fast and got stuck on Ritou escape plan really bad. Took me a complete team redesign and a lot of gear leveling to progress. Your videos were one of the things that really helped me do that.
@@geenpingvin Yes, but only world level 5+ players can only decrease their world level by one. AR35 is only world level 4, and we cannot lower it to 3.
The thing with coop some people might not have realised yet: in domains the enemies are stronger than in single mode. I always thought there was no difference so sometimes struggled in coop with the other players to get a domain done. But I didn't know I could easily beat it by myself. I just assumed I wouldn't so I always did coop
It's not just domains. Co-op mode in general involves more difficult enemies. In Fontaine, for example, I can almost one-shot some of the enemies in the underwater region when I'm playing solo (and I'm at max world level). During co-op mode, I often can no longer can one-shot these enemies, even when using the same attacks.
A quick tip: you can always lower your world level in the menu if you feel that the enemies are too hard to kill. I actually play with it lowered since i don't want to deal with the harder enemies.
You can't lower it whenever, only after reaching WL 5, and on a 24hr CD. Just know lowering WL doesn't just decrease difficulty it also lowers drop probability. Example: I believe at WL 6 you can get 5* artifacts from bosses, but if you drop to WL 5, you no longer have that probability.
The problem with "building characters" is that you're not really building them, you're gambling for a microscopic chance to get decent artifacts that will allow you to play at a mere baseline. That's what crossed my mind when talking about ER issues. I can run ER sands and I still can't manage my energy, even with that big of a dps loss cuz of no atk sands. Also side note: I was so anxious about rising my WL that I done it actually way too late, where I didn't see much of any spike in difficulty while I was losing out on a LOT of guaranteed drops.
A few things to add Mistake 3: yes, I've come across many people who've ascended before they were really, but also the contrary that is worth stating. DON'T WAIT TOO LONG! Even though you are capped, you still gain experience. If you take too much time, you may end up ascending TWO world levels instead of one, as every other wl increase is automatic (2,4,6 and 8). Then next thing you know you're underpowered once more, and enemies are much much stronger. If I remember correctly, WL 6 is the most brutal increase in difficulty. At least at WL 5, you unlock the ability to reduce your WL by 1. Mistake 4: While this is mostly true, all you really miss (most of the time) is a character's proper intro. Sometimes there are some important things, but that's usually for the really big events. Mistake 5: another option for fixing this is using a battery character you don't have to build as much ER%, just funnel energy. This metric as also not one size fits all, because not every character generates the same amount of energy. For example Faruzan below c6 needs around 300% ER with at least 2 Fav weapons just to get her burst consistently because she generates so little energy. (If you have c6 it's moreso around 160-180%
Exactly! That first thing is what happened to me. I jumped straight from AR 35 to AR 38 and reached AR 40 in no time. I basically skipped straight from world level 3 to world level 5, and the increase in difficulty was not one I was ready for. Unintentionally at first, I've made the same mistake again. I'm at AR 45, but since I was not ready for the ascension quest, I waited to build my characters. As a result, right now I have enough XP to jump straight from AR 45 to 49. Knowing this, I'm building my characters even more, cause I know I'm pretty much jumping straight from world level 5 to 7 and skipping over 6 altogether. Like you, I also wanted to point out that with quickstart, the issue is you’ll be interacting with characters you've never met as if you were old friends. That being said, Hoyoverse clearly doesn't care about that cause they do it with permanent quests anyway. At AR 21 I unlocked the Genius Invocation introduction quest, and it featured Sucrose, which Traveler and Paimon were already familiar with. This confused me since I'd never seen her at that point. Turns out you're supposed to first meet her in Albedo's story quest, which is unlocked at AR 34 iirc. Why did Hoyoverse feature a character you're supposed to meet at AR 34 in a quest that’s unlocked at AR 21? No clue.
I don't think waiting too long to ascend is a big deal. When I left ar 45 I had almost 100xp and then I left ar 50 about a month ago with almost 400k xp. Didn't really have any problems either time
Is it wrong to wait? Because i’m currently on AR35 and i’m afraid of ascending as i felt like my team are still not strong enough. Currently i’m farming to build my team but like you said, before this i was AR20 and it skipped to 30+, it felt like i missed a lot of stories and i just have to assume things :’)
@@miiiiitae it not wrong to wait, like I said you can drop the difficulty at WL 5. What I mean by too long, is like a month worth of playing. Because you'll get too comfortable in the low difficulty and won't really have a chance to get use to the higher difficulty
Getting trapped by building too many character is relatable. I slowed down recently and its been much smoother. Also the world level increase can be good or bad, it really depends on investment. I jumped from WL 6 to 8 recently after farming enough AR exp to jump from 50 to 55 in about 2 months. Sure bosses take longer, but I can now play with my AR 59 and 60 friends :)
I just heard him say "People do not build energy recharge" and right after that I clicked on my kazuha and saw my 188% er, and then he said "every time I see a kazuha with less than 150 er-" and i felt so relieved after that
Quick Start just has the slight drawback that some of the events contain quite a bit of story and you will be somewhat lost in terms of who's who in the zoo and what's their thing, but physically you do indeed lose nothing (providing you have access to all event locations).
I admit, the last event (Nahidas Birthday for me) i kinda skipped the story a bit, because i just arrived in Sumeru. I know who Nahida is (the local Archon) but i hardly knew any of the other characters. So i didn't want to be spoilered for the story. So far it's shaping up nicely, especially after Inazuma which was kinda lackluster sadly. (Liyue was great though)
Another tip I usually like to pull for flex units that work well as on field dps or a burst support simply by slapping more energy on them. Like Ganyu, Nahida, Ayato etc.. This can be a good option if you not completely Shure what teams you want to play and makes your teams more versatile. But keep in mind that most of the time they not work as perfect than a pure support and can need more thoughts to fit in.
There is a "consequence" to the quick start function... If you're someone who enjoys the story of the game and want to see it unfold before your eyes it would be infuriating to have to do a quest which involves characters from sumeru when you're only in Liyue or Inazuma or even just mentioning events you haven't seen but the game assumes you have because chronologically you finished all the archon quests available before doing this quest....
And what's that consequence? You can simply not do it then? Back then everyone was forced to rush through those quests to start the event, now if you want to participate you can just quick start it, and if you're into the story and want to enjoy instead of rushing/being spoiled then you can simply not do it, since you're so early into the game 400 primogems is nothing anyways
Yes exactly. I will always put story cohesion above getting rewards because that story experience is just worth it. You can always get primos and things from some other event.
@@Melotaku well yes but missing on primo's is painful, even just missing on 20.000 mora is a big deal in this game if you want to grow quick, obviously if you're already AR60 you really dont care anymore but for anyone who's still working we take what we can get i guess 😂
@@miuletzmitzu6641 The thing with the 400 Primos is true and I agree with that.🤗 But there are at least 2 free Fates that can be important, especially for F2P players. (I'm a healthy mix of F2P and P2W e.g.) It's not too bad for me to miss this one. I try not to stress myself and give myself enough time for the game. And just grind most of it and it will wear off over time if you don't wish on every banner. But I don't want to miss the events because I really enjoy them. Especially when the characters are in the foreground or there is more hidden lore in the events. Which is mostly the case.🤔 And once the event is gone, it will never come back the same way and has different content. In the last event you could get to know the characters Eula/Collei/Kokomi/Kaeya and Klee better and get to know some lore and mechanics about Frontain the next region. This information is always so cleverly hidden that you often have to look twice. And since I play Genshin mainly for the characters and the lore, it's very important to me personally to play the events instead of missing them. Sometimes you also get weapons at events that may be good. Or Good resource without having to farm them extra. So the events are always a win-win situation for me. If only events were in which is zero about the characters or new imfos about Teywat would be hidden in the text or in the gameplay and cutscenes. It would be bearable to miss the events. But because that's usually not the case. I play the events immediately, even though they can be a lot of spoilers for me.😌 (When the event in Sumeru came out, I immediately traveled across Liyue was almost at the end but hadn't done the final quests or fully explored everything. I hadn't even finished the Chasem quest. Climbed the wall of the Chasem and immediately went to Sumerus capital to activate the next teleporter in order not to miss the event. Of course, that made everything a mess. After the event I finished Liyue and Inazuma with the most important Quests goes on and then I really started Sumeru. That was quite a mess.😅.Thank god I'm up to date now and hopefully don't have to do the same for Frontain.) But it's worth it to me personally. Unfortunately, Genshin is kind of weird when it comes to the story and is completely confused.😮💨 Even if you play it regularly and not like I play. But I'd rather be spoiled and get the events than regret it later. I'm still sad that I missed the last Weinlesefestival. Because I've only been playing Genshin for 5 months. And in this event all my favorite characters were represented.😫 (thank god there are youtube videos out there, I just like to play them myself. Damn me that I always avoid hyped games because I'm always skeptical at first.😖) At least I didn't miss the last event, the Mirage. The dynamic between Kaeya and Klee was so heartwarming.💙 🍀 That's why I'm so glad that the Quickstart exists. But I understand if other plyers don't want to be spoiled. I respect that, but I'm also sad when they regret it as a player. So if it's just as important to you not to miss anything about the lore or the characters in general or even just the materials. And don't mind going too spoilers, then I can only warmly recommend the Quickstart. It's very good that its exists. The events have always hidden nice information that is unfortunately not so obvious. Believe me even if you are still at the beginning and have nothing to do with the characters or the region. It may be that you regret it when you have grown fond of the characters and then miss the events. After all, these unfortunately do not stay in the game. It's really stupid that it only works like that and I wish there was another way to do it. But unfortunately you can't do anything about it as it looks.😑 It's no wonder, for example, that there are still players who don't know that heaven is actually fake because they missed the 1.1 event. It's actually something completely different if you're not interested in it at all. But why play Genshin at all if not for the story? Really just because of the hype? Or if it's fighting, wouldn't it be better to just play another game and leave the other players who love the story and the characters alone? But that's probably difficult if a player have already invested so much time and maybe money in the game. Maybe those are the only reasons. So I hope there will be better endgame content in Genshin soon. So that the players who are really not at all interested in the story and the characters have their content. But I don't think you'll ever be satisfied with that. And if that's the case, as a player you should really see that you might be playing a different game. Perhaps Genshin is just the wrong game for many players. Of course, Genshin isn't a perfect game for everyone. But I'm happy for the time that Genshin is joining me and at least I'm enjoying it. Even if the regions are getting bigger and you can hardly keep up with the content.😅 Or the quality of the writing drastically diline some times. 💙
My friends talked me into pushing through AR25 to get to the lantern rite right after starting my account - which of course meant it was also right as I first started pulling and getting more characters I was interested in. I'm taking it easy for a bit at 35 now, building who I like slowly, and it feels SO much better. I feel much more ready for the new banners, and i'm going to stick it out here until I have a comfortable base to go to 45 and move on to artifact farming. I used your other guide to repair my account by the way - it was REALLY helpful to go step by step according to the thing that would most help me at any given point rather than floundering blindly and trying to e.g. push one character all the way to the maximum level I could reach or whatever.
At AR35 you can only get Wanderer's Troupe and Gladiators as 5 star artifacts. So set up several main characters you use on those sets maxed out. You can get them from doing Weekly Trounce Domains at the max level possible for you. When you move to AR45 level up characters and skills again, and then start switching all your characters ( that you often use ) with 4 star artifacts over to 5 star artifacts. When done with that see if you want to switch your Troupe / Gladiators character over to other 5 star sets. Then think about farming some Primogems from Spiral on a regular basis, and maybe raising AR again. Technically even an AR35 _may_ be able to farm from primos from Floor 9 of Spiral. But I have an AR45 account that has reached Floor 12, so it is really doable at AR45.
Just hot AR25 on day 4 and there's 2 days before this banner ends and Kazuya is up. Got about 50 wishes and a team of level 20s lol. Didn't want to waste Matt's leveling up before knowing which 4 stars I end up with
Even as an AR 60 player this video was fun to watch to see what mistakes new players are making, and the bit about energy recharge is so true! I see a ton of players even in the endgame not build enough ER, its one of the stats I prioritize the most. All of my off fielders have at least 200%
I've played through the game twice now, both times reaching AR45 around 3-4 weeks or so but I've never once ran into that AR35 wall that you spoke of or found the content too hard.. maybe because I followed that "Best way to build an account" video of yours both times. You saved me a great deal of hairloss, so thanks XD
I didn't play for 2 years because I didn't understand how level up te chars, leave aside the accs and weapons XD, the tutorial wasn't good at explain. If you only do the normal quest you gonna hit that wall, If I pass the test is because patience and tactics to keept my team alive with the Mondstadt's Angel Barbara OwQ, not because I have the best weapons or accesories, but still was fun. Maybe we can add another error for newer players "not search for a tutorial" because the game don't explains nothig :,D
@@oienu the error should be "relying too much on tutorials and guides and not naturally exploring the game". When I got into gaming 15 years ago I used to check out everything, every button, every setting, read what the game said, nowdays people rely too much on youtube instead of naturally exploring by their own. You could simply press ESC and go through each icon, see what it's about and what it does, then when you'd get to "character" you'd see multiple options, and their level and "level up" button are right there in front of you. Sure if you do this and get stuck and feel like you can't find a solution then do go ahead and search it up online, but I assure you you'll have a better experience with games in general by exploring yourself and not relying on guides as much. Look at vanilla world of warcraft, you'd get thrown into the world and see a quest mark and that's it, everything else you had to explore by yourself and that's one of the reasons it got as big as it is. The game explains plenty, you just have to actually explore the settings and options instead of waiting for the game to throw a huge "TUTORIAL HOW TO DO EVERYTHING" pop up
@@miuletzmitzu6641 I mean a tutorial how to work the game, on mabinogi at begin you have a basic combat tutorial, that is fine, but once you chose a talent you will get The Basic of (your talent) to learn how to use, and you still have the Blannid's quest, that last guide on how works all, from get items, upgrade and many things you need to know. You can explore the world as you wish, but you now how work. Here I didn't know what are Artifacts and the importance to use it, I was really stuck on a beginner char because I didn't realize how to use the exp cards for the characters XD I was leveling killing mobs
I've reached AR57+ on two accounts and AR46 on one(plus two AR35 challenge accounts) and hit AR35 wall once on my main. The dumbest thing I did was hoarding on Adventure EXP without properly building characters and getting straight to AR40. It was the most painful thing ever because i was killing one hilichurl for 1-2mins.
Shark, these are truly jawesome tips! Your information has made my time in Genshin so much easier and more fun! I always recommend your channel to new players. My account was a mess before I started following your advice and now I rock the house with the bands I've formed! Love that analogy, it really works.
Holy crap! I had no idea that you bank experience if you don't do the ascension quest right away. Your videos have been such a help to me. I just started playing about 2 weeks ago and it is hard to find many guides or tips for mid game players(like AR 20-45) but a lot of your videos hit points throughout that area. Thanks for the great explanations, tips, and guides!!
As for point 5 I love how my Kazuha has 214.5 er and 957 em. Energy is such an underestimated stat. Consistency is key in abyss and not delaying your damage rotation due to energy makes a huge difference.
@@Salad_09Zel Ideally EM - EM - EM (with ER weapon), or ER - EM - EM (with EM weapon). Depending on the team, you'll typically want around 180% ER minimally, but the requirement can go up to 200-220% in certain teams. Take care of his ER req first, then build as much EM as you possibly can.
About the 'Quick Start' function for events. The only downside of doing so is getting spoilers of genshin's lore for those who haven't reached those spots of stories.
Good tips, not only was I spreading myself too thin, but doing bad combos. Thanks to some tips from your discord, my focus is narrowed down, and more effective. Saw noticable differences immediately. However, it's interesting that a lot of these good teams for spiral abyss tend to actually be very bad for overworld exploration. I'm someone who likes to explore every nook and cranny and get 100% in a zone and some teams are just terrible for it because they can't mine or they can't treasure find or something along those lines. There also tends to be a problem with bosses, because they require so many different compositions to defeat. You can't just build a pyro team and roll with it because you won't be able to kill pyro bosses. That is why I was spreading myself too thin more than anything. As a relatively new player, a lot of the lingo gets lost on me as well, having someone ask me if I want to build an aggravate or hyperbloom team just makes me go ?!?!?!. I don't understand the difference. Basic reactions of course I understand. But a lot of these specific comps get completely lost on me.
Glad you are improving! Yeah overworld and abyss are very different b/c abyss has such a high damage requirement and you can reset to get your energy and burst back if you fail. But you actually have to heal in the overworld. You'll get the hang of reactions in time. Dendro is a bit complex. Spread/Aggravate = Dendro + Electro and it makes more elements do more damage. Think of it like Melt or Vaporize. Hyperbloom = Dendro + Hydro + Electro. Dendro + Hydro makes a Dendro Seed, and when you hit it with electro it turns into a dendro homing missile lol.
The fast ascension is so true! I level up so fast that I was ar 32 and have yet to start the inazuma quest. Still ascended since I wanted more and higher quality loots but suffice to say that made the game more challenging, but doable. Coop definitely helped with domains and bosses. And that low er. It took me way too long to get that er is so impt for burst support/burst dps characters. I sacrificed my crits and atk to give er and I'm way closer to 36 star the abyss than without that sacrifice. Great guideline btw I nvr heard of that before Btw shark since you do account reviews, do you think it's possible to upload those videos to TH-cam? I find these pretty entertaining, educational and align to your branding. Granted, account reviews are usually very long so it may require quite a bit of edits so the roi may not be great.
I'm glad to help! And yes I think what we'll plan to do is have some time to do account reviews on stream and post them. That way we can do a lot all at once.
I would argue that the characters that can stay at lvl 80 are now more niche than the ones that benefit significantly from being lvl 90. Its not just transformative reactions, the additive reactions (spread and aggravate) also benefit significantly from being lvl 90. Most support characters want to be 90 for one reason or another, usually because they scale off HP or Def or EM (which means they use transfomative reactions). We’re at the point where almost every character gains something significant going from 80 to 90. It’s really only the multiplicative reaction carries and hypercarry characters who dont gain much. I.e vape and melt characters + xiao and wanderer (as itto does gain a reasonable amount going from 80-90, being a defence scaler)
Bruh shark is absolutely banger man. I was approaching through comments about my new acc building because I was new to Genshin he guided me in every single comment and i feel like this video was made for me.thanks a lot because of you i am having fun in game as f2p player for my entertainment i only play genshin this means lot to me once again thank you for your videos my acc is runing clean.
Re: Mistake #4, another reason I decided to stay on AR 35 because it takes a few days to "build" a character. This way I can try all the characters I got. For example, I wasn't planning on using Qiqi, but I was able to get everything fully leveled as well as a 4-star Clam set in 2 days, and she turned out to be really strong. I can't imagine investing weeks into a single character only to have them turn out to be different from what I expected or doesn't match my preferred play style.
This is really gonna help me out a lot!! :D I started playing Genshin Impact in 2022 December, my cousin has been helping me out too since she's been playing for over a year now. But I also realized that my charcters weren't doing enough damage, and this helped me figure it out! Thanks for making this video!! :D
These are helpful tips. Probably should have watched this video before jumping into to the game because of old school mentally of learning and just spreading myself all over the map without progressing normally. Reached AR30 without doing the Liyue Archon Quest period and to say I wasn't happy with myself playing. Like I spent way too me resources on characters. Which some I quit using because I had no clue what I was doing.😢 Plus gambling addiction and wishing too much. Were I would spend resources on characters that weren't anywhere close to the region I was supposed to be. (Like Sumeru and Fontaine when mainly should have been using Monstadt and Liyue characters.)
Frankly I really needed to hear that I should get working on the story before getting ganked by overleveling the world. I started like week ago and I have mostly been bumming around monstad and dragonspire clearing quests, getting collectables and doing domains to get duders and weapons (and getting mats to crafted weps) to 40-50 range. Just like 25 minutes ago I got to AR 26 and only now starting Liyue as a zone.
Actually doing the story slowly will delay your “getting ganked” because doing multiple story quests give you about a week’s worth of adventure EXP. (if you compare a world quest or story quest reward in adventure EXP to not questing at all and doing dailies and using resin only) I spammed all the story quests and world quests (on a schedule alternating between world quest and story quest) and found I hit adventure rank 48 with no good artifacts before even starting the Sumeru archon quest.
You took what @SharkH3art said to heart & it shows! The leveling bottleneck is a thing -- especially when you pull Shogun, Yaoyao & Alheithem before unlocking their resources. 😱😆
Honestly as long as you don't do you next world level ascension quest you'll be fine :) Monsters may be slightly harder but it will get way worse if you ascend your world too soon :)
I found this channel through his guide and, Oh boy Am I lucky. glad I found this channel. His explanation and guides are much simpler and understandable than others as I just started playing The game recently.
pretty good guide and I say this as an endgame player. when I was just starting to play, I had Amber as my main and I overload her with as much crit dmg as she can get since charged shots at weakpoints always crit. Not every enemies have weakpoints so I built a physical Kaeya as a solution for that. luckily, I got a c1 Sucrose below AR 25 and oh my god, she tears multiple enemies apart back then thanks to swirl and crowd control. if there's one mistake that I have made, it was when I was so obsessed with Amber that I'd literally grind for the wanderer's troupe artifact set by collecting boss drops that I don't even need from world bosses and I was below ar45 that time (and strongbox wasn't introduced yet on my AR). I had exhausted my fragile resins just for Amber. Fortunately, majority of the boss drops that I have collected just for wanderer's troupe came from electro cube boss fight and I say fortunately because I later on, became an Electro main by getting Keqing, Fischl, Raiden, and Yae Miko. In conclusion, I never really struggled working my way up to AR45. I actually avoided guides from YT because there's enjoyment that u get from learning things by yourself. Gosh, this video made me relive my Genshin Journey XD
I ended up leveling up the AR rank too fast and did Inazuma way later, on AR 45, cause I decided to explore Liyue on its entirety (including the then recently released Chasm). As a result, the chasm felt more unnerving than the whole Inazuma region
Same for me, but in a way it felt “good”. I could still just barely do the encounters, so the Chasm felt like a challenge area since I was undergeared for it. The way every battle including the Fatui in there (who are at or 1 level away from the highest monster level for your world level) made it feel scary like the plot seemed to want there. I doubt it would have been the same feeling if I went there with my current party (Ayato, C6 Beidou, Fischl taser) that melts the Abyss and Black Serpent enemies in less than 30 seconds.
I think you always have to think about ascending carefully, after all the more difficult boss after the ascension will habe slightly better drops. So if you want the challenge ascending earlier can be good. Just be sure you actually want to have a more difficult time for slightly better rewards. Otherwise dont ascend
Interesting to see the energy recharge tip up there: I learned that when I reached world level 5 and started to look at rotations. Before that, elemental bursts were something I felt lucky to see, then I decided to stack more energy recharge by trying that 3* Skyrider Sword with the ER substat: “OH so that’s how people do rotations…l (Of course the Skyrider has pitiful base attack, but it worked as a nice training wheels weapon. That said there are some characters like Diluc, Ayato, and Albedo who don’t need to use elemental bursts much to be effective.
Your tips are great bro. If you may please, let me share one more tip. Travellers should have a mock account, which means you can make mistakes as much as you want while learning and discovering. Play about 4 months, then in the meantime, start an official account where youll never mistakes anymore. Recommended for F2Ps because im also one of them.😊😊
Gotta say I kinda miss the launch system where your surplus adventure XP would instead convert to Mora. I've got like 140K+ surplus which means I'll get the next rank up quest immediately and go up 2 world levels instantly. This AR35 wall only got created by the removal of the Mora system since usually you'd organically have 2 weeks or so to gear up along with the World Level increase.
I completed the ascension quest expecting to go from level 2 to level 3 but I accidentally had to much XP and went straight to level 4 and its so annoying 😢😢
@@kavid8120 im playing it for almost 3 and 1/2 years at this point and i was always convinced by the same thing, to stay Free to play, but recently i invested some bucks into it what ive never imagined that i would do
A tip for newer players! If you're in a though situation and you think you're going to die just switch between your characters in the battle. You can use more abilities and you have less chance to die. Yes some will do less damage but it's good to nog let characters die.
Guilty Guilty Guilty! I'm Guilty of mistke 3, 4 , and 5! I'm ready to get my jugment! Nice little tip: - Learn Elemental Reaction and build around it. No need to be an expert but learn the basics. I've play around Overload at the beginning since I got Yanfei and Beidou early in my account. Got through alot with those two and this simple reaction. Thx Sharkh3art! Love you! ;)
I agree SM with energy recharge. I’m at ar 59 and it just recently dawned on my about how important it is with abyss. Cos now I understand all of it but I always gotta give up a lil DMG for er but in the end it gets the job done fast
it admittedly took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out I could level up my characters' talents, and I kept wondering what the book things were for.
Ah ah, exactly, I'm stuck at Adventure level 35, unable to finish the dungeon for going level 36... And my artefact are between level 1 and 8! Good news is I like just to explore so I will explore sumeru, avoid quest and build my best artifact. And my team I like! (Beidou, Xingiui, Fischl and Bennett). I have Hu Tao but she is only level 35...
The warning when quickstarting just tells you you might not have encountered the characters in the event yet and that you might not understand the story of it very well because you don't have the quests it builds on completed. That's basically it.
Very comprehensive. Definitely will help me to avoid mistakes I 100% would've done otherwise as a brand new player that never played a gacha game before.
I actually stopped for a good few months raising the world rank because a) I wanted to build more chars b) I wanted to build more chars. I'm glad I did it because when I did I jumped from 50 to 56 immediately.
Take everything I say positively, I would like to share my thoughts on some things you have said in the video! You mentioned only needing 1 or 2 main Dps characters for your entire account, but that's if you want to play the more traditional "Hyper-carry" teams with 1 selfish DPs unit paired with multiple supports. This feels like a bit of a "limiting" mindset to have regarding the potential teams you can achieve and kind of takes a lot of fun out of the game. What if you like playing Quickswap teams instead? Those can be made up of multiple Main Dps with short cooldowns, and you keep rotating through every character on each rotation. To each their own, I guess. From my personal experience however, Quickswap teams have actually been the most fun teams to play so far in comparison with the "Hyper-Carry" team style you've mentioned. I'm not saying either is better than the other, I just like keeping the door open to different styles of team comps and not limiting my account to one specific type of teams. 10:51 I couldn't agree more!! This second point actually ties into the first point I mentioned. Whether you are a veteran or a beginner, I feel like exploring the world of Quickswap comps actually forces you to learn about Energy management and Energy Recharge thresholds. Whether you want to or not, you will inevitably hit that wall and find out the hard way that you need the ER% in order to make your Quickswap comps work. In comparison, Players with "Hyper-Carry" teams tend to (more often than not) focus on Crit stats alone. I find this to be true especially if you are (emotionally) invested in your favorite "main Dps" carry and your main goal is to make them do the most amount of Damage possible. So to recap, two of the "Mistakes" that you mentioned could be alleviated with a more open mindset. Focusing on only 1 or 2 main Dps characters on your account pushes you into the "Hyper-carry" type comps, which are a lot more "Forgiving" at lower ER%, and create less of an incentive to build said ER% and learn about Energy management (Especially in more casual players). On the other hand, opening up your roster and experimenting with teams that are different than "Hyper-carry" teams can force you to learn about the importance of ER% and the overall impact it has on your gameplay. What do you think?
@V.U.4six tiers of talent are locked between ascensions. You level a talent up from 9 to 10 if you max ascend your character. You will still need materials for it.
Thank you for all these tips. I just started 3 weeks ago and wish I knew some of these. I am now struggling to pass Abyss floor 3 to get Xiangling. I think I completely leveled up the wrong way.
I struggled there too. Also almost 3 weeks in game. I watched some YT video and realised i was doing it wrong way(with wrong characters) Idk the name of that video I saw. But I searched On YT genshin Impact abyss Floor 3 you’ll get enough videos out there.
Habits I had to break as a new player (AL22), artifacts I’m slightly paranoid investing resources into lower tier ones. Also the opposite with characters wasting resources leveling all my characters
6:45 AAAAAAHHH **my traumaaa has been triggered** I was really terrified remembering the Ritou Escape Plan. I was few levels above AR30 when I encountered this quest. I was stuck in Ritou for like a week. That quest even locks co-op. It feels like stuck in North K*rea. Now, I'm at AR45 and I am leveling up my teams properly with their talents, weapons, and artifacts to 36★ spiral abyss before ascending. I have two teams now, and I am at 31★.
Super helpful video. I love content that takes the time to explain stuff to us new players that seasoned players already know. I sometimes struggle to understand some game mechanics so videos like this actually help like crazy
The AR thing is so real, i literally paused the game for like two years cause I liked the AR too fast and got stuck with a world that was way too strong for my characters, and practically impossible to ascend my characters so they could level to match it. I'm a casual player so the level of grinding necessary to beat that was too much and made the game not fun. I only got back into it this year cause my younger cousins got into the game recently and helped me beat the bosses necessary to ascend. That made it much more fun and now I'm enjoying the game again. If not for them I'd never have come back
You should understand that you do not get much of level 5 artifacts until AR45 and leveling lower artifacts is kind of waste. To get to that levels may take months for most of players. You simply can not level weapons much beyond 20 as you do not have materials and gold for that. Your resin and gold goes on character development. Game requires much more effort to level up then people think in begging. Naturally, you can always buy yourself in but that pretty much loses point of game.
wow!! thank you for this!! i shared this video with both of my sisters who play with me cos we been speeeding trying to level up our AR and leveling up ALL of our charcters. i just made it to 30. So this video will be a huge help to all of us! thank you!!
The main reason Genshin advises against the QuickStart function is simply because you could possibly spoil future quests for yourself that you haven’t completed yet, and encounter characters you’ve never met before. If you don’t mind that, then definitely QuickStart! I really think they’re just wanting you to get the full effect of the story.
I found Shark's ch just through searching for genshin guides when I first started my America account and it saved my skin!!!! Like alot of people, I kept being told to hurry to Rank 45 to get 5 star artifacts and when I got there I was not doing any damage and enemies were taking too long to beat. I found Shark's other video about the best characters to improve your account along combined with the general build account video and I've been following that religiously!!! Now I'm AR 55, have all the characters listed in the best character video (with the exception of Ayaka, but I have Ganyu so I'm not pulling for her) and I'm only focused on building those characters. Thanks Shark!! It's been great watching your Streams and being in discord!
It was briefly touched upon in the video, but setting map markers to grey/green artifacts and farming them daily is a great way to level artifacts. You can collect 100 “Investigate” locations a day (barring the exploit of Tatarasuna and Co-op)
People, please ignore this guy's Mistake 2 part. Wish for who you want. He is wrong. He's actually FACTUALLY wrong, tbh. EVERY SINGLE character in the game has at least one DPS aspect and one support aspect to them...... whether it's in their passive/kit/cons/etc. Even on-field DPS characters like Yoimiya, Hu Tao, Itto, etc all have at least one support aspect to them.... and support characters like Diona, Kazuha, Bennett, etc all have at least one DPS aspect to them. Of course, any character can be build as a main DPS. So if you enjoy playing with a bunch of characters that are "meant" to be no-field DPS characters.... you can either do a quick swap team, or build 3 of them for support roles. Speaking of quick swap teams.... that is a thing. So again, please ignore this guy in the video when he says you want an On-field DPS with 3 support characters. ALSO, please ignore his ER segment as well. "a character's elemental burst is generally the most powerful thing in their entire kit". Key word being "generally". But it's NOT that important. I mostly use characters who utilize their SKILL, so I don't have to always focus on ER. I use Yoimiya, Ayato, Hu Tao, Alhaitham, Nahida, off-field Raiden....and I know there are more than just them. Overall I would rate this video bad (even though he obviously says some useless things)....but this dude seems too Meta focused.....which, in MY opinion, is a bad thing.
When leveling up mid level I would argue that priority should be Weapon level > Character level / Talent level > Goblet with characters elemental damage % ( or crown with % healing for healers ) > Other artifacts. Also, NOTE: You will gain access to Gladiators and Wanderers Troupe 5 Star artifacts before other 5 Star artifacts. It is ok to set several characters up with level 20 Gladiator's ( for Polearm/Greatsword/Sword ) or Wanderer's Troupe ( for Bow or Catalyst ) for awhile. Then when you get access to other types of 5 Star Artifacts level up FIRST the characters you heavily use that don't have 5 Star Artifacts. When you run out of them, then go back and think about moving the Gladiators / Troupe characters to other types of sets. Artifacts I put at lower priority because to get really good artifacts requires far, far, more grinding and resin than working up weapons and skills.
I had no idea ER was so important to every character! I always focused on crit dmg and crit rate because my characters have a decent amount of ER already! This was so helpful! Thanks so much 🙏🏻
One tip is to make sure to ascend after you reach level 25. I remembered not knowing what ascension is and did not ascend for a very long time (and wondering when my next level up is). By the time I realized that I need to ascend, the game ascend me two world levels straight to 35. You can imagine that the mobs are much much harder to kill with the equipment that I was using at level 25.
I am AR 48 and f2p it's so much fun having finally some challenge to defeat bosses lol. This game is to easy so I level up world as fast as I can. The rest of this video is pretty obvious but still usefully for most players. Don't be afraid of some fun making your AR rank level up. I don't even complete the archon quest because it's boring 😢 but it's true that it will allow you to all events and teapot, so I did barely minimum xD
started playing a month ago and at ar45 rn, ive been doing pretty well all around with lucky yelan pull few days after i started but now ive started to have some amount of struggle, mostly with having no energy for using bursts while dealing with bosses or multiple fatui enemies at once, thanks for the tips on building energy recharge 👍
yep... first time player... about two weeks. I got grabbed by the story and wanted to see what happened next so I barreled through and now I'm at Adventure level 37, my best character is the Traveler, my world level is 4, and every fight... even treasure hoarders, is an inescapable death match that has me consuming massive amounts of food and other resources just to not lose. I realized about two days ago every fight was becoming impossible, none of the materials to further level up the four characters I'd been using most was easily forthcoming (I'm supposed to be fighting oceanids and other world bosses and I am hilariously underpowered for those fights) and I wasn't having as much fun anymore as I was having a card game marketed to me and a home teapot dimension being foisted upon me when I was mostly just interested in the story... of which I was getting less and less at longer and longer intervals. I also don't think I have ever leveled up a "talent." I don't recall any tutorial showing me how to do it so I suspect... unless it's done automatically when increasing character level, that I've never done it. I'll investigate that but I doubt it will solve my issue. The only archer I have is Amber and she's... mediocre and so many of the big bads seem to require ranged combat (like those floating oceanids that heal faster than I can damage them). I haven't given up entirely but if this talents thing doesn't correct my underpowered issue I don't see any other simple way to fix the issue so I'll probably just stop playing.
I recommend you asking for help with your signature in game, when i was struggling with bosses in the past, people would join and kill them for me, i would collect the materials and get my characters stronger. Also it's pretty fun playing with others!
@@waltzplay6210 I have no idea how to do that. And as it is right now I can't and have not been able to play the game for five days because I started the Venti story mission "Should You Be Trapped In A Windless Land" and when I entered the pub "Angel's Share" the bar didn't exist and I just fall to my death... or float to my death if I deploy my glider. But either way there's only a single bottle from the bar that appears and then I slowly fall to my death over and over and it won't let me teleport away or quit the mission or anything. So I can't even play right now.
@@waltzplay6210 And yes I contacted customer support. It took them two days to suggest turning it off and turning it back on again. To which I replied "DUH!" and am stil waiting new instructions.
I missed out on the Arataki event because I didn't know the quick start lets you do it even without the prerequisites. Thankfully thanks to this video it won't happen again. Keep up the good work man!
Thank you shark to tell this to me. 6 month ago i just started play genshin impact. Your video just come out of no where in my screen. And i do like 50% of what u tell in this video. And u know what thanks to this video i manage to reach AR 55 with pretty strong teams and i dont feel any difficulty through my game since im quite well build my team (Wriothesley freeze team) for overworld exploration.
A lot of useful tips but the most appreciated was the quickstart events. I rushed a bit the Sumeru archon quest to catch up for some event, and although I read all the dialogue, the sense of urgency made that questline, which is the best, less enjoyable than it could. You know, plot twists and big reveals are way less fun when you're dragging yourself at 5am to meet the deadline of a "now or never" event. Now I don't think I'll need it, but next time I'll definitely use the Quickstart option if I do.
Once you're in a place to start ascending characters from 4 to 5, Adventure Rank 50 with a reduction to World Level 5 is pretty comfy. However, I'm a dingus, got bored, and now my lowest World Level is 7, and this is...rather a slowdown.
Because I haven't put my mind toward the Abyss or artifact farming, a goal of mine's been to get all characters to Ascension 4, to give everyone their fullest inherent kit, on the off-chance I get experimental. I've also looked to get all talents up to Lv. 2, just so I don't have to mind the entry-level materials anymore.
This was SO helpful, mostly for artifacts. I changed every artifact I was using and my characters are actually doing decent damage now and fights don’t feel tedious. I definitely need to work on my teams and include more support characters but that’s gonna be a long work in progress.
What you said about banking the AR experience is so true. I spent a looooong time at AR 35. By the time I finally beat the ascension quest I went from 35 to almost 45 instantly
Big agree on holding back your world level even if it means more grinding. Friend and I started playing a little over a month ago. He dashed ahead of me because he had a lot more time to put into the game. 100%ed several early areas and pushed his world level up quickly. To keep up so we could do competitive domains and such together I pushed the main quests to get AR and hit AR 45 just two days ago. When I hit 35 I knew I didn't want to up my world level right away, but I eventually succumbed to it for the sake of co-op content with my friend. For a full week world level 5 was an INSANE slog. On the flip side, at AR 45 my friend and I can farm artifacts and we're comfortable stopping here to level and build our teams. His teams are mostly level 80 and mine are level 70, and we take on most artifact domains with level 90 enemies with relative ease once our team formation is set up correctly. Between the two of us we have good fire power for most situations. There's certainly pros and cons to it, anyway. I think it depends on the kind of player you are and what you want. Either way, the amount of resources available allow you to remain fairly competitive up until AR 45 (at least) if you plan things out correctly. The biggest issue you may face is actually a lack of characters that will build a decent team; thusly pushing you into building characters you won't use later on and spreading out your resources too much so you're always low. You have no idea how many guides my friend and I found telling us to get 'such and such limited time event character' to build a reliable team! Not very helpful when you're a new player.
I've reached the "world level being too hard" just recently... But I'm holding out on lowering the WL just yet, so I can get better rewards. It may just be temporary while I have bad artifacts and a not set in stone team. Here's hoping I can hit the slow button and recover. I also prioritized my character level and levelled too many characters.... I fell for everything in this list 😅
Very nice to know I've been doing most of these things with no guidance, level 32 and already completed the escape mission in inazuma with no issues at all.
Quick tip: If you feel like you're not doing as much dmg as you think, even if you have good builds, then the problem may be how you use the characters. Take some time to see what each one you like can do and then, see how you can make a viable strat for them.
Yeah character rotations are very big. But that another big topic xD
This is a really great advice!
Thanks man!
@@fahimfaisal7571 My pleasure!

Yeah, I levelled AR way to fast and got stuck on Ritou escape plan really bad. Took me a complete team redesign and a lot of gear leveling to progress. Your videos were one of the things that really helped me do that.
Aw sorry to hear how hard you had it but I'm glad I could help :D
there is option to lower your world level and after 24 hours you can just increase it back
Indeed! Ritou Escape Plan was really traumatizing...
@@geenpingvin Yes, but only world level 5+ players can only decrease their world level by one. AR35 is only world level 4, and we cannot lower it to 3.

Will nobody talk about Wanderer being called "Disappointment"?
Was looking for this comment lmao
The thing with coop some people might not have realised yet: in domains the enemies are stronger than in single mode. I always thought there was no difference so sometimes struggled in coop with the other players to get a domain done. But I didn't know I could easily beat it by myself. I just assumed I wouldn't so I always did coop
I think it's because of the elemental reactions you make in your individual party unlike in code were support make come most of times not in coherence
No because for each person, the health of the enemies are multiplied by 25% (example: Coop-ing as a trio will increase the enemy health by 75%)
It's not just domains.
I had to lower it doing the zhongli story quest
How do you lower it😢
@@Book-god35 go to the menu find world level press the I button and just click lower world level
he said that in the video
The problem with "building characters" is that you're not really building them, you're gambling for a microscopic chance to get decent artifacts that will allow you to play at a mere baseline. That's what crossed my mind when talking about ER issues. I can run ER sands and I still can't manage my energy, even with that big of a dps loss cuz of no atk sands.
Also side note: I was so anxious about rising my WL that I done it actually way too late, where I didn't see much of any spike in difficulty while I was losing out on a LOT of guaranteed drops.
good guide because it doesn't talk down (or up) specific characters, but instead focuses on the underlying game principles
Thanks!
A few things to add
Mistake 3: yes, I've come across many people who've ascended before they were really, but also the contrary that is worth stating.
Wtf how do you even get 300 ER on faruzan? Sounds like not worth building until c6.
There is a quick introduction pop up when u encounter a playable character u never seen before in quests yet so not too bad
My Zhongli isn't having that much damage in his burst. I tried this trick, so even though his burst damage is quite low, his burst is full more often.
It's such a small price to pay that personally, to me, it's inconsequential
Yes exactly. I will always put story cohesion above getting rewards because that story experience is just worth it. You can always get primos and things from some other event.
@@Melotaku well yes but missing on primo's is painful, even just missing on 20.000 mora is a big deal in this game if you want to grow quick, obviously if you're already AR60 you really dont care anymore but for anyone who's still working we take what we can get i guess 😂
@@miuletzmitzu6641
The thing with the 400 Primos is true and I agree with that.🤗
But there are at least 2 free Fates that can be important, especially for F2P players.
(I'm a healthy mix of F2P and P2W e.g.)
It's not too bad for me to miss this one.
I try not to stress myself and give myself enough time for the game.
And just grind most of it and it will wear off over time if you don't wish on every banner.
But I don't want to miss the events because I really enjoy them.
Especially when the characters are in the foreground or there is more hidden lore in the events.
Which is mostly the case.🤔
And once the event is gone, it will never come back the same way and has different content.
I play the events immediately, even though they can be a lot of spoilers for me.😌
(When the event in Sumeru came out, I immediately traveled across Liyue was almost at the end but hadn't done the final quests or fully explored everything.
That was quite a mess.😅.Thank god I'm up to date now and hopefully don't have to do the same for Frontain.)
But it's worth it to me personally.
Unfortunately, Genshin is kind of weird when it comes to the story and is completely confused.😮💨
Even if you play it regularly and not like I play.
But I'd rather be spoiled and get the events than regret it later.
I'm still sad that I missed the last Weinlesefestival.
Because I've only been playing Genshin for 5 months.
And in this event all my favorite characters were represented.😫
(thank god there are youtube videos out there, I just like to play them myself. Damn me that I always avoid hyped games because I'm always skeptical at first.😖)
At least I didn't miss the last event, the Mirage.
The dynamic between Kaeya and Klee was so heartwarming.💙 🍀
That's why I'm so glad that the Quickstart exists.
But unfortunately you can't do anything about it as it looks.😑
It's no wonder, for example, that there are still players who don't know that heaven is actually fake because they missed the 1.1 event.
Even if the regions are getting bigger and you can hardly keep up with the content.😅
Or the quality of the writing drastically diline some times.
Awesome glad to hear! And I would have told you to push for the lantern rite, too lol xD
I'm glad I could prevent your hair loss! I did make that guide with the resource scarcity in mind so I'm glad it helped!
Nice! I knew someone would appreciate the analogy!
My pleasure!
As for point 5 I love how my Kazuha has 214.5 er and 957 em. Energy is such an underestimated stat. Consistency is key in abyss and not delaying your damage rotation due to energy makes a huge difference.
Wow very nice!
I wish mine was that good lol xD
What is a good artifact stats for kazuha? Is ATK, EM, EM good or should I swap?
Great guideline btw I nvr heard of that before
Btw shark since you do account reviews, do you think it's possible to upload those videos to TH-cam? I find these pretty entertaining, educational and align to your branding. Granted, account reviews are usually very long so it may require quite a bit of edits so the roi may not be great.
I'm glad to help! And yes I think what we'll plan to do is have some time to do account reviews on stream and post them. That way we can do a lot all at once.
Bro I'm ar 31 and I'm still in lique💀
All the quick start does is leave you mildly confused after the traveler and paimon greet someone you haven’t done the character quest for
Bruh shark is absolutely banger man.
Awesome! Glad I could help that much!
Started playing Genshin again and boy Sharky tips and tricks help me alot
This is really gonna help me out a lot!! :D
I started playing Genshin Impact in 2022 December, my cousin has been helping me out too since she's been playing for over a year now.
But I also realized that my charcters weren't doing enough damage, and this helped me figure it out!
Thanks for making this video!! :D
Awesome! Glad it's going to help :D
(if you compare a world quest or story quest reward in adventure EXP to not questing at all and doing dailies and using resin only)
I spammed all the story quests and world quests (on a schedule alternating between world quest and story quest) and found I hit adventure rank 48 with no good artifacts before even starting the Sumeru archon quest.
Yes definitely xD
Yep! Story is a great way to level and as long as you ascend when you're ready you'll be fine.
I found this channel through his guide and, Oh boy Am I lucky. glad I found this channel. His explanation and guides are much simpler and understandable than others as I just started playing The game recently.
Awesome! Glad you like the channel and videos :)
pretty good guide and I say this as an endgame player. when I was just starting to play, I had Amber as my main and I overload her with as much crit dmg as she can get since charged shots at weakpoints always crit.
I've heard several people say the similar things. That, and the Chasm made them feel claustrophobic.
I think you always have to think about ascending carefully, after all the more difficult boss after the ascension will habe slightly better drops. So if you want the challenge ascending earlier can be good. Just be sure you actually want to have a more difficult time for slightly better rewards. Otherwise dont ascend
I went to AR 45 without lvling up my characters and building them and im struggling to even do my commissions lol, this helped a lot thank you!
Your tips helped a lot, I didn't knew that your exp gets saved when you don't increase your world level. Thanks sharkyyyy
My pleasure! Happy to help!
8:21 you don´t lose any reward but be warned that these quests contain some spoilers if you have not met the prerequisites.
Yeah I felt the same way and now I almost feel naked without enough energy. And you can add Yaoyao to the list too! Usually her skill all you need.
The biggest mistake is playing the game
I feel that one, and I always whish i never started😢, at the same time I just can't stop...
And that ist called addiction☝️
Yheep!! can't argue about that
I just started the game yesterday and I’m hooked. But definitely not spending money on it even though I’m addicted to the grind and exploration
Love you! ;)
I love you too!
I'm a Kaeya main, who has made many of these mistakes but you still may have saved me from a couple mistakes later on.nonly time will tell. Thanks 👍✨
I agree SM with energy recharge. I’m at ar 59 and it just recently dawned on my about how important it is with abyss. Cos now I understand all of it but I always gotta give up a lil DMG for er but in the end it gets the job done fast
Yep!
it admittedly took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out I could level up my characters' talents, and I kept wondering what the book things were for.
Ah I see. Just take your time and build your account. You have some great characters but they'll feel weak without spending time to build them.
Did not know I could roll my old artifacts into the new ones and keep most of the EXP. Thanks!
how do i know if the character is a dps or healer or support
Check the genshin tier list!
@@madsxolotl378no check the talents
Check their talents
The warning when quickstarting just tells you you might not have encountered the characters in the event yet and that you might not understand the story of it very well because you don't have the quests it builds on completed. That's basically it.
Very comprehensive. Definitely will help me to avoid mistakes I 100% would've done otherwise as a brand new player that never played a gacha game before.
Nice! I'm glad to help!
Currently at mistake number 2 and still watching, damn you explained it so well bruh, I'm impressed big thumbs up 👍
Increasing talents levels is certainly a thing that will improve your character's effectiveness.
Despite how expensive it is.
Mhmm
Doesn’t it require ascension 2 though or am I misunderstanding
@V.U.4six tiers of talent are locked between ascensions.
You level a talent up from 9 to 10 if you max ascend your character. You will still need materials for it.
What I didn’t realize for a while was 50-60% of a character’s dmg is probably behind their artifacts, so this stuff is important!
Does world lvl matter in the abyss
Thank and you got this!
No the floors just get progressively harder regardless of WL
That Raiden model walk though.
This is really helpful
But small issue, i waited at AR 35 and directly jumped to AR 45 getting 2world levels, which is quite difficult to do.
You might want to consider such things especially since I did AR 35 and AR 45 acsention together in one go😅
Habits I had to break as a new player (AL22), artifacts I’m slightly paranoid investing resources into lower tier ones. Also the opposite with characters wasting resources leveling all my characters
10:37 the name 💀💀💀
6:45 AAAAAAHHH **my traumaaa has been triggered**
I was really terrified remembering the Ritou Escape Plan.
2:57 i guess you are not a musician as all the 'guitars' you show are all 4 string basses....
If not for them I'd never have come back
I didn't know the ER requirelents formula, thanks a lot.
Sharks guides are always on point and VERY helpful ( if you're new you should watch more of his guides)
I got a genshin ad on this-
I personally never had any issue with the world level, but that might be becaise I built a Rationale team early on.
started playing a month ago and at ar45 rn, ive been doing pretty well all around with lucky yelan pull few days after i started but now ive started to have some amount of struggle, mostly with having no energy for using bursts while dealing with bosses or multiple fatui enemies at once, thanks for the tips on building energy recharge 👍
yep... first time player... about two weeks.
@@RemedialRob wow bro, that is one awful situation, at this point i would just reinstall the game and hope it fixes itself lol
@@waltzplay6210 Reinstalling doesn't work. File verification didn't work either.
I'll keep this in mind little shark
Ty for helping begginers that's doing this mistake cause some people don't believe me
Once you're in a place to start ascending characters from 4 to 5, Adventure Rank 50 with a reduction to World Level 5 is pretty comfy.
I hadn’t played for a year and recently started playing again and found it hard for a few days. Today I discovered I forgot to level up talents.😅
I still remember when i was ar 35 and i was struggling on the ascension quest bc i was using yelan, ningguang, xinyan and yanfei.
Not very helpful when you're a new player.
yea i've tried all these tips and have still never seen damage over 30,000
I've reached the "world level being too hard" just recently...
I started farming artefacts at AR 40 or something like that, (yes I farmed the lvl 80 domains lol)
Very nice to know I've been doing most of these things with no guidance, level 32 and already completed the escape mission in inazuma with no issues at all.
thank you so much, you have helped med ALOT through out my journey , now I am AR55 and I am very satisfied with my account keep it up sharky ^^
Awesome glad to hear that!
