It's a real tragedy that the next movie is in development purgatory and may never be released because movie companies refuse to give their writers and animators decent working conditions and a proper salary.
Getting engrossed into the storyline I was mad at Gwen’s treatment of Miles initially because she knows Miles clearly has real feelings for her, but she strongly downplayed her relationship to Hobie but then I realized she was an emotional wreck when Miguel recruited her and Hobie being older, brash and more experienced probably drew her to him like a magnet and filled the void of her fathers regretion and her Peters death. Her and Miles are in different emotional places maturity wise .
I don't think she sees Hobie in a romantic way, she definitely likes Miles, but she knows that something bad will happen if they are together. Hobie calls Miles "Peter Pan" and Gwen "Gwendy" clearly he ships them as well.
She's too much under MIguel's influence upon realizing what Miguel's trying to do to Miles & Miles not taking his crap helped snapped her out of MIguel & Jessica's spell. But she may have issues getting Miles to trust her again she flat out broke his heart on top of that as for Miguel this guy's got skeletons in his closet. And when it gets out in the 3rd movie the spider society as a whole will turn on him. Plus Peter & Jessica are literally putting their kids lives in danger & again back to Miguel he's becoming unhinged because Miles wouldn't go along with the program plus I think he's jealous of Miles & he's juicing himself up with some kind of steroid that explains why he's bigger than he was in the 1st movie. This drug is messing him up mentally look up Miguel's real backstory in the comics he's also a scientist also there may be a chance Miles & Spot could become allies Miles may try to offer a solution to Spot's issue & apologize & Spot in turn will realize he ruined his own life & it's not Miles's fault.
The insane crazy detail of the spider being glitchy in the first movie is absurd foreshadowing to the insane reveal that miles spider was never meant to be there. As well as the fact he wasn't meant to be spider man master class writing right here can't wait for the finale.
Fun fact: In the first movie when the first Spider-Man met Miles and they had the “spider tingle” thing, you can actually see that Miles had the color green and purple in the background while the other Spider-Man had the original blue and red, meaning he was going to be the next Prowler. Insane foreshadowing. 10/10 for sure.
In Spot's flashback you actually see the spider making it's way towards Earth 42 Miles. Also there is a hint in the first movie that Miles would become his dimension Prowler when he meets Spider-man (RIP). When they "spider sense" each other, Miles's starts off green and purple (Prowler's colors) and Peter's are red and blue (Spiderman's colors) and then Miles's changes to red and blue. It does make sense, with his relationships to his uncle and father, not to mention trying to get kicked out of Vision Academy.
So just to clarify, Miguel isn't really a vampire he's a mutant his DNA is half spider I believe, his fangs allow him to inject a venom into whoever he bites. Also unlike other spidermen he turned himself into Spiderman, his world is essentially torn between mutant wasteland and futuristic paradise. And another fun fact, he can lift Thor's hammer, but he leaves it on his desk as a symbol of power.
@TGL Reacts, 26:28 Technically, everything that is happening in the MCU (this IS part of the MCU) now is Sylvie's fault. Prior to what she did in the Loki Season finale, every variant across the Multiverse lived the exact same scripted story--variants that cause Nexus Events get erased along with anyone and everything that got caught up in the mishap. Sylvie broke the mechanism that ensured the Multiverse would play out the same scripted story forever, and now with that mechanism gone, the Multiverse is spiraling into an infinite number of universes with subtle to major differences depending on any given universe's proximity to another--the Multiverse is an infinite number of the same universe, variants! Sylvie allowed variants in the universe to write their own stories, and gave everyone freedom, freewill, so she didn't cause what's actually happening in this story. The Spider Society has Universe 616 Peter Parker for that (Miguel called his universe 199999). Do you remember what he did to Doctor Strange's spell? Do you remember how that movie ended? Peter screwed the spell up big time and the ramifications of that screw were beyond Doctor Strange's ability. The workaround they came up with was making everyone forget who Universe 616 Peter Parker is, which saved his universe but screwed over every other Spider-Man Variant in the Multiverse. yeah get out. and also nope
He was in Get Out & Black Panther.
For the sake of not getting the two Miles mixed up, I propose that we refer to the 42 Miles as "Taills". Because he's Miles Prowler.
Like it . Somebodys gotta make this a meme so it catches on in time for next movie. It even works since miles tails has two braids
Im glad you guys really appreciated this masterpiece of a film!! 10/10 I saw it in theaters 3 times
im so hyperfixated on this omg i feel sick /pos
you are the first, the chosen.
@@whothethunk thats the power of autism bb x
This is my all time favorite film. Cinematic, Artistic masterpiece. CANNOT WAIT for the finale.
Leonardo decaprio 💀
Miles is the Chosen One! He's the Neo and Luke Skywalker or should I say Darth Vader of the Spider Verse!!!!!!! Miles, Hobie and Spider Bite. WHERE UNSTOPPABLE! Best Spider Man movie Ever! Can't wait for part 3!!!!!!!
The joke about Miguel being "on drugs" hurt so bad after looking up his backstory🥲
This is the movie of the year for me.

Your dog definitely needs a chairm he wants to watch too
38:20 - "So we have the filler, then the anime, this is the manga." XD
Bruh that one piece edit took me out I had to replay it to check if i saw anything wrng lol
loved this reaction - what an astonishing film
Finally you guys reacted to this movie.
I love how you two quickly understood the plot. Not many Reactors do that.
It's a rare case.
It's.....A Canon Event 😅
06:03 Sounds like the Spider-man Unlimited theme song.
Nothing surprises Ms. Chen anymore.
Did you end up catching what they showed between credits? Lolz. Also, whether or not Zaddy O'hara (Oscar Isaac likes being called that btw) is a vampire, he can bite me any time
ur the first reaction i’ve seen on yt to get immediately that he would go to the wrong universe. that was me in theater just hitting my dad in the seat next to me like “WHATH BUT IN THE FIETS MOVIE- THE SPIDER- MOLECULAR LEVEL- HAHHH”
Yeaaaaaaaayyy boys!!!
So exited for this one!!!!
Unfortunately, we have to wait for the third one maybe another few years due to the strike.
I probably shouldn’t be watching this right after listening to a song by CupcakKe about Spider-Man for the first time 😳😱😬
omg did the itsv vid get taken down …..rip guess i really do have to watch this one fast
? It's still up for me. Maybe it's a regional thing?
@@brazu9864u know actually….they said in the vid 2 weeks ago so i went back that far but ofc they recorded this a bit ago. so yeah it’s still there 😅

Fun little detail about Gwen’s theme. The guitar riff you hear through out the theme (do-do-do📈do-do-do📉) is actually a sped of version of the original Spider-Man theme song
Also: the spider chase scene took FOUR YEARS to animate!
Miles being an outcast and going anguish the rules makes him the most Spider-Man Spider-Man like Rick in Rick and Morty
What up
TUTU~RU
Gwen was insanely down bad for Miles
The Spot was an idiot for fooling with around with that damn colider which brought the 42 spider to Miles's universe which bit him instead of the 42 Miles & Spot has the balls to get pissed at Miles for his life being ruined? He ruined his own life & seeing how he is irritated that Miles isn't giving him the attenion much less taking him seriously as a villain to me the Spot must've been suffering from insecurites in his life before he caused the accident that turned him into the Spot.
