Just summon Latenna (fully upgraded to go faster) up on the ridge nearest the Fallingstar Beast lair and she will wear him out without you really ever doing anything other than getting him to appear. Took me about 2 minutes and she decimated him.
Nah easier just agro him lead him to the ledge and as he walks away drop down drop your Great shield soldiers and just thorn him to death from the ledge.
